My sense of the problem has been the pressure the line has allowed. Up front the line is better than average, probably top 5 in the league, but injuries and poor play have hindered protection from the tackle position. Moving thuney from guard to tackle has helped, but he's still not a prototypical nfl left tackle. If Mahomes just had another second or two to step up and make a throw I think that percentage would go up significantly.

This will be my third afc championship game I will have attended, all with my son. 2019 losing to Brady, 2020 Titans when it finally happened and now 2025. I did a solid and split the cost with a friend who grew up best friends with my late brother, and he's taking his seven year old. We're meeting at Dave and busters for lunch and some fun and then heading in to enjoy the game. I don't feel real great about the game. Hopefully the Chiefs win.
