Why is Eli's nephew in and not ewers? I just turned it on so seriously asking.
-
He's beat Mahomes in the regular season, just not the playoffs. Only Burrow and Brady have. If you ask the players, I think they would agree with me in what really matters most.
-
He also has yet to beat Pat when it matters. He may eventually get that monkey off his back, but there's no guarantee. Pat never accomplished that very thing he sought against Brady. I don't care how much better of a pocket passer or scrambler you think Josh Allen is than Mahomes. The true measuring stick is Super Bowls, and there's no way I'd trade our QB for any other option out there.

I remember those days

Vikings/ Rams to be played in Arizona. I saw the giants whoop the Chiefs ass after 9/11. There's something about a team rallying for their community in the face of adversity. I'm in on the Rams now if I wasn't before.

Thinking about writing a book about how to win at fantasy football

I calk blocked the guerenado owner and took some backup from SF and Miller from the Saints and he had to start a WR in his flex spot in week 16, beat his ass and took second place :winning: -
Can any of you toothless shitbags recommend a kickass book to read?

sorry, I'm late to the party. I really don't like to read, but I just scanned some pages of Traction by Gino Wickman. Many of the principles we're already ahead of the game (vision, the people, data) and I'm really looking to build energy around improving and making our meetings more efficient, productive and enjoyable. I like the concept of the Level 10 meeting and am looking to try and incorporate some of the principles in our weekly leadership meetings. Fiction books are teh ghey. -

Wtf would react with a laughing icon at this post? -
Obviously, he's the odd duck in my list. Bo might have made more sense, but my little brother was all in on bo. It might have been that when I really started playing and watching baseball, George was in the twilight of his career and he was making the move from 3rdc to first and hoping Seitz was going to be that next start to cement his legacy at third. Or maybe watching his hustle and determination day in and day out Really I'm not sure what it was, but even to this day my slow pitch softball number is 33.

We may see more of DHop in the playoffs, since his snap % impacted the trade and draft pick in return. https://x.com/ChiefsBlitz/status/1876676675020423649?t=LTGFoTzpsbWRb6-lYbqeCg&s=19

Pat Mahomes Bobby Witt, Jr. Paul Pierce Kevin Sietzer Derrick Thomas

So not necessarily current players?
-
That's a good point. As people have brought up with Hurts, or how the Chiefs likely would have went to the Super Bowl in 93 or whenever it was if Montana didn't get knocked out during the game. A lot can change the momentum of a game, even one in-game snap.
-
There isn't a team left that can't beat the Chiefs. You're right, at times they've looked vulnerable. They also have three weeks to gameplan for the divisional round, and to get fully healthy while the team they will play will likely be coming off a brutal game the week before. I could see them slipping up, but I have a more confidence in them getting past the divisional round without much trouble, and then it's probably the Bills or Ravens after that likely game you speak of, just happening the week before in the divisional round for the chance to play KC in KC for the AFC Championship.
