Ran into Head Coach Bill Self this week. Went to my first Late Nite in the Phog. During the wimmen's practice (mostly B's), I asked if he wanted I go check the team store. Head down some stairs, light traffic in the hallways and as we're walking, out of a doorway I see coach motioning over to the only two in the area, a young boy and his dad. My mouth drops, I point at my 16 yr old boy and he smiles and nods and my son got his picture with coach. One of those where you just happen to be in the right place at the right time. It was pretty focking cool.

What early game is everyone watching? USC/ Colorado is intriguing, also interested to see how Kentucky fares against Florida at home. Probably focus on the closer of the two but keep my eye on both. For KU, they could either get blown out of the water and be unranked next week, keep it close but still lose and keep our fans engaged, or they could surprise people and win and move up likely into the teens. I'm optimistic for our chances but not going to be surprised if we lose.
