    Quarterback

It's pretty evident if you watch this series, Mahomes is doing things at least these other two in comparison are not doing. I also can't imagine this series won't continue in future years. I would be watching no matter what players are featured.

    Your go-to weekend beers

I went on a boulevard tour, and they gave you samples enough to really get a good buzz. But it really made me appreciate the seasonality of beers, and the taste of rotations that fit the season. So I'd say I'm moving away from a go to, and more just grabbing what's currently in the rotation.

And cousins could have been lead in glee lmfao. Kirk cousins is a cool fockin dude. But this series, in my opinion is really just illustrating the different level Mahomes is on. The training, the work ethic (Cousins is taking a day off each week to go read books and take his kids to school) is all just on a different level. I was also shocked to see Mahomes started his training plan with the dude he is working with now back in 4th grade, and moved him to KC. You literally see all they go through to get him ready throughout the week, and you have to believe there is something to it they way he has been so resilient and able to recover from injury seemingly quicker than others. And also, Cousins and Mariota are taking a pounding each game, and thank god our o-line is more competent as we have a much more prized possession to protect than any other team, from what I can tell.

    Quarterback

Wasn't it one of the falcons that got disciplined early for gambling? I mean the falcons had the 4th qtr lead on their first three games and lost all 3? That fumble seemed shady af And mariota doesn't seem like he cares enough about football not to lose games. It's like all he wants is for it to be over and move back to the islands.

    Quarterback

We went to that farm as a family last year too, but I didn't get to go with no one else there (still episode 2) I'm like fist pumping as chiefs score, sighing with Britney as the bills get the best of us. Then transition to Marcus and his lame o personality. More Mahomes

7 minutes into episode 2 and this thing is on point. Dives so deep into the position and the person. Phenomenal.

I'm about to get into two more episodes tonight after being tied up most of the evening. Will keep you all posted. You're welcome.
  10. yeah, I'd be attempted to sell it if it didn't mean I had to buy a bigger house at an inflated rate with a high interest rate on top of that

    Kirk Cousins, I'm sorry.

If you haven't started watching "The Quarterback" yet on Netflix, go do it tonight. A couple other QBs highlighted in the series as well

And Peyton Manning is producing it My favorite part of episode 1 was Mahomes interaction with Max Crosby. Crosby is trying to get in his head early, giving him a jab and gets to Mahomes, but has the opposite effect; Mahomes gets after him, goes on to throw 4tds to Kelce then goes up to max and tells him "I love you brother" after the game Crosby = And Brittney was interviewed, and you won't think much better of her for it but all the spouses and family are part of it, so you get to see who they are outside of being an nfl qb.

It wasn't just that, I was really kind of surprised with cousins. His wife dresses him, shops at target, modest home for what he makes from what I could tell... I'm not quite getting the mariota intrigue, but not giving up on it yet either.

I hear my chiefs won some awards

    Quarterback

I was afraid it was going to be a third Mahomes, a third cousins and a third mariota. It didn't feel like that, maybe more like 45% Mahomes, 35% cousins and the remaining 20% mariota. Which is probably about right. But I am geeking out a bit getting a glimpse into the more personal lives of these players.
  17. This is the county where the Chiefs and Royals are located. Voters had already voted to keep the statues. I'm sure the state legislature will try to intervene.

He wanted to create a space to help widows start living again after getting through their darkest moments of grief. But Tracy was diagnosed with a terminal illness in October, so he and the members of his grief group had to get to work. “We had to stop talk and start shop, so by December, Loss of Spouse Sanctuary (LOSS) was incorporated and we had our first board of directors,” said Pamela Cone, LOSS President. “In January, we got started formulating activities, events, etc.” The group has held several events during the last six months, from enjoying live music to sit-together studies, game nights, dinners and more. Cone said the group has become a place for people to get together and enjoy themselves with others who understand their grief. Debbie Lyons, publicity and public faces director, met Tracy through the grief program, and they became connected by their commonality in losing a spouse. Lyons said Tracy was passionate about creating a community of people who knew how he felt. “He was just lonely,” Lyons said. “He had this way of having great big dreams and big goals, and he would just go with it and you would get so enthused and caught up with his passion that you would just roll with. So it became a little tiny mustard seed that Joe kept rolling between Pam and I.” LOSS, which is a nonprofit, accepts donations to be able to operate and plan events for members. With many of the directors being widows, the members have found a greater purpose through the group by providing a resource for the community. “The loss of a spouse is your right hand is gone, there’s a big hole in your heart that never heals, and so we come together to support each other, to be there,” Lyons said. “That has been the biggest help for me was the connection with other people who understood my feelings. Because people don’t know what to say to a grieving widow or widower, they do not know, and we do.” Tracy left his property to the group, which includes a massive game room for members to gather and a large plot of land for things like a memory garden to be implemented soon. The plentiful space leaves endless opportunities for the community he created before his death. There are about 30 members currently, but the group is continuously growing. “They build relationships and it’s a different kind of a group but they love it is all I can say,” Lyons said. “They’re always saying, ‘When is our next activity?’ And it just brings us closer to each other and to God and to a community of people of like minds.” Tracy’s mission of creating a place of belonging for those who feel lost after a loss continues through the LOSS program. Those looking for someone to turn to or a next step in their grief journey are encouraged to look into the LOSS group at lossofspouse.org. “Joe’s vision was so big and so we’re doing a step at a time but we’re going for big,” Lyons said. “We want every lonely person who has lost a spouse in St. Joe and all around us to feel free to come here. We are open to everyone who has lost a spouse, to know that we are here.”
