RIP PAC12 kudos to the big 12, but I'd still go back to the traditional big 8 and regional alignments in a heartbeat.

Yeah and saving up for a Vegas trip for my step- daughters 21st this year. To be honest I'm more likely to venture out your way to take in some spring training down the road.

I wouldn't ask them to do that. I could probably account for a tax deduction though as my fil is a cpa.

It's just a circle of friends. I, as well as she can get along with anybody. I'm just looking to develop further connections to help open doors.

Hey @jerryskids... sounds like the actual schedule won't be released until September, but let me know if you can make the trip likely to be January, February or possibly the first week of March...

@Cdub100 you want to go to this? KU’s nonconference schedule, which has not been officially released yet, includes North Carolina at home on Nov. 8, Michigan State in Atlanta on Nov. 12, Duke in Las Vegas on Nov. 26, Furman at home on Nov. 30, Creighton on the road on Dec. 4 and Missouri on the road at some point in December. Other reported matchups include Oakland at home on Nov. 16, NC State at home on Dec. 14 and Brown at home on Dec. 22.

I'm looking from the prospective of b2b in support of non-profit work. What I see is disconnect and lack of awareness from those with means to do good work in terms of the work non-profits are doing. If you go back 50 years you didn't have all these various non-profits with paid staff doing a lot of different mission work. You had people with money burning holes in their pocket who saw a need and wanted to help and make a difference so they were more engaged in philanthropic endeavors. I believe those same passions are there, but I'm not hanging out with this people on a regular basis to help them understand how they could make a difference through the work of a local non-profit. I feel like I need to find a better way to get in with people who have the opportunity to make a tremendous impact through charitable giving. And I'm wondering if playing golf in the Tuesday men's league and my wife hanging out with their wives at the pool on the summer and going to country club events could help me bridge the gap. But I also am sensitive to how it might look for a non-profit leader to splurge on something like a country club membership.

picked the hottest time of the year to head there next month; going to Hot Springs for our 2 year anniversary. Probably hit the spa at the Arlington hotel, spend a day in Little Rock and go to the Clinton Presidential Library. Any other pointers? I got some good ideas from a friend who lives there...
