I just let my stock broker manage my investments. He knows more about it than I do.

oh, give me a break. We're more than two months out before he is even sworn in. Ya'll do just need to chill the fock out.

Careful or they'll end up like Boeing and suffer at the detriment of dependance on government contracts.

yes, the Trumpers could show more grace and humility, and the ones who really wanted Kamala need to get over it because it isn't as bad as they seem to think it is.

you guys now buying tesla and stuff like that, since Trump will eliminate the EV requirements and competitors will slowly back out of the EV market leaving Tesla with a more profitable market niche?

I have gay family members and I can see how they could be concerned. Or those who fear that abortions won't be available for what most would deem legitimate circumstances. Those are probably fair concerns of people too. But for the people on my Facebook feed, crying about how terrible people are for voting for Trump, I think most are reasonable on issues like abortion or gay rights. They just have feelings that other issues are more important, like national security (including immigration), economy (including trade), etc. Gay rights and abortion issues aren't why Harris lost. It's the other issues most people care more about where they felt like Trump is the better option.

Could this election outcome reset party practices?

It'd be cool, but I doubt it. -
might say something about ceedee's injury

I've thought about that, too. For those of you wondering why we are going back and forth, watch this

I didn't like it then, not sure I want it now either.

I can see how it could be perceived that way. That's not how a spirit reading works, but if you haven't been to one you wouldn't know. She wasn't saying it to change anyone's mind. And you wouldn't change my moms anyways.
-
And, the last Democrat I voted for president was probably al gore and I blame that one on being 21.

My mom goes to psychics, to try and connect with my deceased brother. A debate for another topic. My grandmother recently passed and the psychic told her that my grandmother encountered my brother, found my brother was waiting for my mom to pass before crossing over, and so my grandmother chose to stay with my brother so the all cross over together. You don't have to believe it, but I think it's definitely plausible. However, in that conversation my grandma also said she doesn't want Trump to win. That coming from someone who often voted republican. But the thing that got me was that it seems we have our own ability to choose leaders and the outcome still isn't decided one way or another. Like our choices at the ballot are not pre-determined and we can choose our own fate as a nation. It made me think long and harder about this one vote I have, for sure.

Trump is just visceral and publicly makes fun of people. You shouldn't reward people for bad behavior; it's something I deal with parenting my adult daughter, and something I don't want to see from my President. About the only thing I see that Kamala has going for her, is that she would carry herself more professionally as President. I want someone who is a statesman. I can't see Trump ever being that
-
Neither one of them has convinced me that I should vote for them
-
I'm pretty well decided up and down the ballot on local candidates and ballot initiatives. I don't feel like the presidency can do too much damage, if there is balance in congress. So then I'm going back and forth on picking one of these dumbasses or just leaving it blank. For Trump, can I put up with his reckless abandon and will he create an environment in internal relations that would not be good? And is my sentiment against liberal policies enough to make me want to cast a vote for her? Good Lord, we need better candidates

Sources: The #Browns are trading standout edge Za'Darius Smith to the #Lions, who add a key presence on the edge to help make up for the loss of Aidan Hutchinson. It’s Smith and a 2026 7th going to Detroit for a 2025 5th and a 2026 6th. A major move. pic.twitter.com/gtCs86rL97 — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) November 5, 2024 meh, until someone takes down the Chiefs they are still no. 1
