    Who is starting Warner?

im in the same exact boat..same options. have alex smith in right now but still debating warner. sucks its a SNF game. also have leinart and flacco so i could take the risk. yes i have 4 qbs due to warner's injury. lol i just decided to go with warner: http://fantasyfootball.usatoday.com/conten...NFL&id=1256
  2. thinking of dropping Josh Morgan for Crayton or Henderson. which WR do you feel is the better pickup as a potential bye week fill in or occasional flex start and why? or do i hang onto Morgan and stick it out. team is in my sig and its a 0.25/PPR league. thanks and leave a link and i will answer yours!

What was your worst mistake in the draft?

Biggest regret so far, passing on A.Rodgers to take old man Warner 'because I wanted to diversify' since Jennings was a keeper. Really thinking that will come back to haunt me now. That was just plain old dumb of me to think like that, everything points to Rodgers having a better season plus he can actually run.
  4. i thought about that too, but then i also looked at the packers schedule and they sure play some tough DEFs and play BAL, CHI and PIT wk 13-15. westy/mccoy have it a lot easier. i think ya gotta play westy when listed as probable but yeah i realize he demands a close eye on status up until gametime for a handful of games...the good thing is i wont ever get screwed by having to wait and not having someone else to plug in.
  5. hah, thanks guys. guess i just wanted some reassurance that my overall thinking wasn't flawed. sure hope westy manages to stay mostly healthy and play 14-15 games.
  6. Just wondering what the consensus is on whether Westbrook has better value than Grant this season. It is a PPR league but only 0.25/rec. It was me giving up Grant/Coles for Westy/J.Morgan (he needed some help at WR). My other RBs are PT, Rice, LJ, McCoy (huge reason I went for his Westbrook offer) and Mendenhall as a flier. Trade is already done, but just wondering how others view the trade. Did I gain overall? Coles was on my bench anyhow since I have AJ, Jennings and Cotchery.

    Draft Done - Rating?

strong RBs, decent WRs..shaub should be good enough, but i'd suggest you work out a trade to send an RB for another solid WR, or even better package a rb/wr for an elite WR. the elite WRs are just proving to be key to winning championships and since you can start 3 wrs that makes them even more valuable. thanks for help on mine

    how long o sign?

definitely PT for 3 years and Ward 1..I'm hanging onto PT as long as I can. please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=347829

    i have the # 3 pick...who should i take?

Is Johnson Andre or Chris? I'm assuming one got kept. Anyhow, while Brady to Moss sounds appealing, I think it's a bit risky because it is all or nothing then. It's good to diversify IMO. I like a great QB / RB combination though. I don't think you could go wrong taking Deangelo or either Johnson actually. please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=347829
  10. Please rank these RBs and provide a little reasoning as to why if possible. I'm picking last in keeper league and need to grab a RB to compliment Pierre Thomas and most of these should be available. Already kept PT, AJ, and Jennings. So for 10th & 11th pick I'm likely taking a top QB and the best available RB. Westy Jacobs Portis MB3 Grant Brown thanks! leave a link and i will help in return
  11. i got to keep those guys based on where i drafted them last year (PT was waiver wire since he was nobody before). obviously jennings would go much higher this year if i didnt keep him, but he flew under the radar last. so, im starting to think about keeping AJ more and more. im thinking if i let go of brees i can still pick up a decent qb in the range of mcnabb, warner, romo or rodgers. but if i keep brees and let go of AJ i may drop to someone like TO or Housh for my other WR. any other opinions? not asking for a rate my league, just based on the info i provided which player is the smarter pick for a keeper, stud WR AJ or stud QB Brees?

    Standard Bench size?

I'm commish in one league and former commish in another. In the 12 team league we start 10 players with 7 bench, so I think having 6 bench for 9 starters is fair. It all depends on how many waiver wire moves you allow per season because with 5 bench there are going to be a lot more transactions for bye weeks and injuries etc. please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=347737 thanks

10 team league, #10 draft pic PPR, keeper ..draft help

im in same situation (10 team keeper with 10th and 11th picks)..i'd say with your 1pt/rec it puts a lot of added value on stud WRs, so definitely either WR/WR or like you said if a Brady or Brees makes it to you then maybe WR/QB. what positions are required to start? that can make a difference too. please see my post: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=347737
  14. Alright, so this is the first year we are doing keepers in my 10 team league and I won last year so I get last pick in the draft. But I have some solid players that I can keep, however I'm unsure of who to keep between Brees and Andre Johnson. I've read you generally never keep a QB unless absolute top tier (Brady, Brees, Manning) but not sure if Brees outweighs a top 3 WR in AJ. We can keep 3 players, one drafted in rnd 1-5 (AJ or Brees for me), one from round 6-10 (keeping G.Jennings) and one from round 11+ (keeping P.Thomas from waivers). I'm dead set on Jennings and PT so I will have a very solid WR and RB to start but going back and forth about Brees or AJ. Standard scoring aside from 0.25 PPR so a little more value on AJ. So far not counting me, 5 teams are keeping a QB and 5 also keeping a WR - RBs are really being kept with 9 teams keeping a RB and 4 keeping 2 RBs. Another item to note is we start 1QB, 3 WRs, 2 RBs, 1 flex, 1 TE, 1K, 1Def. So theoretically we can start up to 4 WRs, 3 required. Given this info and the fact that I am drafting last (10th and then 11th pick), do I keep Brees or AJ? Some of the top available players bound to go in first round are: Brees or AJ Brady Manning Westbrook Jacobs Wayne Smith Portis Boldin Colston Barber TO Thanks for any input and leave link and I will help you out!
