    Who's the better Flex option?

Avery should be your choice since he's a No 1 WR at STL, but until then, Morgan is the only one getting meaningful touches and starting... McGahees in a crowded backfield, Edge is done, and the others are waiting for an injury. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=348076

How to draft with strange TE Scoring......

With this handicap, I'd bump the Tier 1 TEs (Gates, Gonzo, Witten, Clark, maybe Olsen) to same level as Tier 3 WRs - After the top 10 WRs are gone, I'd get a strong TE. Also - assume you forgot to put RB's in your starting line up? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=348076

    Ahmad Bradshaw vs. Julius Jones

Depends on which RB spot you're looking to fill - if he's a bye week replacement, reach, etc, I'd go with Bradshaw. If you need a week to week points guy, JJ is the better. HOWEVER... Rumor is that SEA is looking at Warrick Dunn as well - more RBBC eating into JJ's minutes - something Duckett was already going to do. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/238847-...rb-warrick-dunn

    FF Podcasts

Found these guys as a suggestion from another FFT poster - http://www.kfan.com/podcast/FantasyFBWeekly.xml They're based out of MINN, so some Viking focused comments, but all very valuable. (And entertaining.)
  5. He did great for me last season, and the kicking game should be a big part of the Titans strategy this year - will we keep seeing Vaughn in Game 1? Is the injury that serious, or is Jeff Fisher and the team just being over cautious?

What's the best DUO for Week 1?

Non PPR league. Already starting Brees, Barber, Wayne, and Calvin Johnson. Pick two for week 1 - need 1 RB and 1 WR/RB : McGahee R Bush Cotchery Fargas Chris Perry Leave your link - I'll respond. Thanks in advance. JOE

What's the best DUO for Week 1?

What about the risk that McGahee may not play / may lose touches to Ray Rice, plus BAL has a rookie QB playing in week 1?

Choose My RB and WR Starters!

OK, first off - none of these are easy! My thoughts - Justin Fargas - will have to share with McFadden, but should get 20 touches, plus he torched DEN last season Ryan Grant - should be good, will see less touches, per coach's remarks this week Jerricho Cotchery - yes - Farve vs MIA - Farve seems to favor him - in this case I would play him Marvin Harrison - yes - he gets his numbers - plus pressure will be on Wayne and Holmes, which may free him up Chad Johnson - yes - my last choice on your list - normally i would play him, but Housh will take some receptions and they are playing a tough BAL DEF [*]Willis McGahee - who knows if he'll even play with the knee [*]Fred Taylor - sharing with stud MJD [*]Derrick Mason - no Hope that helps. Pick my week 1 starting rookie running back:

I'm (unfortunately) a McGahee owner and would agree with the Rice pick - Cincy doesn't have a great def, and BAL should destroy them on DEF with all the torn labrums, broken noses, and whatnot. Plus, rookie QB on BAL in Flacco. This game is one of those that could be low scoring or lopsided, depending on which CIN team shows up. But of the list you've got I'd go Rice. - Stewart will have a tough SD DEF - Hightower will be competing with James, so few touches - MBush has to wait behind Fargas AND McFadden - Chris Johnson faces a decent JAX def. Hope that helps. Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=321671

    Please Rate My Draft

so-so draft. would be interested in seeing the draft order. specific comments: Not a strong QB core - Farve is a toss up IMHO. Addai is the clear RB stud, Jones and Maroney are Tier 4, so you'll need to play matchups GREAT WR corp - how many can you play each week? not high on 85, but not high on Cincy in general Winslow will have a great year IMHO - Lewis will come back to earth, and braylon will be covered a lot more - either Anderson or Quinn will find Winslow often K will be a toss up as well - i'm hoping Bironas has a good year as well, but he has had a groin issue this preseason Indy is a good Def, but not stud IMHO Hope that helps. Oops I crapped my pants...

easy one IMHO - James vs SF. Yes, he's not a great RB anymore, and the O-line isn't great, but honestly, I don't know WHAT is going to happen with SEA yet - will it be RBBC? will Mo get more touches? what about Hasselbeck's back? who are the SEA receivers? My guess is that Buffalo will be tougher than expected and Hasselbeck will be airing it out and hope someone will catch it. Even if that isn't the case, we don't know how Mike Holmgren wants to play the running game. We just need to see Game 1. Hope that helps. QB week 1

OK - here comes the dissenter - are you kidding sitting Big Ben vs Houston to play Warner? Ben is THE QB in PIT - SB winner - strong team around him, solid def, and going against a weak Hou team. Warner JUST got the QB job - he will be mired in QB controversy all year. Got two good WRs, but suspect running game, sorry O-Line, and def is a joke. yes its vs SF, but I think its too much of a risk. I'm only guessing here - could be wrong - but I wouldn't think twice about playing BB. Hope that helps. Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=321671
  13. I'm a Compiler user and he kept bubbling up to the top 5 - 6 kickers. Even on the FFToday rankings, he's listed as the #6 kicker. I researched a few other rankings and no one else has him this high... is it because he's the starting Kicker in Denver? I ended up not drafting him, but (big surprise) he's there on the waiver wire in every league I'm in (most 10 teams). Sorry to take focus off why Reggie Bush and Chris Perry will be phenomenal this year.

Rate my team! Picking at #6, I chose to value WR over RB

Great team, except I have concerns over the RBs. I think both starters could have huge years, or bad years - jury is out on them. That being said, I think the rest of the team is strong with Brady and the receivers. If you're able to deal a WR / RB for a stronger RB, I would certainly make that trade. (Thanks for your feedback on mine.)
  15. 10 team, non PPR league - picked 9th out of 10 - play 1 QB, 2RB, 2 WR, 1 FLEX WR OR RB, 1 K, and 1 DEF STARTERS ======= Drew Brees Marion Barber Willis McGahee Reggie Bush Reggie Wayne Jericho Cotchery Kellen Winslow Matt Prater (K, Den) SD DEF I think I did alright...
  16. joeunleaded

What to do with that 5th pick?

How many teams? 10, 12. 14? If those are the running backs that go first 4 in a 10 team or 12 team, I'd take Brady at 5. There's always MJD, Reggie Bush, Portis, Lynch, Jamal Lewis, Larry Johnson, Earnest Graham... I think you could get a STRONG WR or a Tier 3 RB in the 2nd round. Stud QB, Tier 1/2 WR, Tier 3 RB - that's not bad... Thoughts on mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=319542

    Please Rate My Team

You know - Addai is a stud RB, but I just don't have a good feel about him - out of curiosity, since you were the #4 pick, how did the first three go? LT, AP, Tom Brady? Was Westbrook in there somewhere? I'd probably have taken one of those four before Addai. Like Colston and SHolmes this year - both should do well. Overall, pretty good. Thoughts on mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=319542

    Rate my team.

Nice team. Bowe is a strong number 2 IMHO and crayton is a strong sleeper. I think Bush breaks out this year as well - he'll evolve into a strong receiving back. Thoughts on mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=319542

    Cuse9 is back!

Need help with the Chris's.... Chris Henry - just signed - pick up or leave alone? Chris Perry - is Rudi Johnson's time up, and Chris Perry's time to shine? (both would be backups on my team) THANKS!

    Arnaz Battle or Brandon Jacobs?

I'm with others - swap Clayton for Battle. HOWEVER, I'd trade B Jacobs ASAP for better WR. I owned Tiki last year, and Jacobs is a great 3rd down back when he's fresh and the O line is tired. But I don't think he's going to be a stud RB. I think he'll get injured again soon. IMHO, he's too tall for a stud RB IMHO, but hey I could be wrong. My vote would be pick him up for Clayton, and trade while stock is so-so for a strong WR... a Patrick Crayton type...

UGLY: LJ @CHI or Lynch @PIT?

Egads, I'm in a bad spot. Lynch did ok against a decent DEF vs Denver, and LJ did acceptable @HOU. But CHI and PIT???!!!! HELP! (Leave your link.)
  22. Everyone talks about this year LJ breaking down due to the 416 carry year last year... if and when that happens, would Bennett really carry the load enough to be viewed as a featured RB? Or are we looking at RBBC with Kolby Smith? I've got Lynch, Foster, and C Taylor on the bench - got to start two each week... worried that Lynch / Foster is not going to get the job done... Leave your link - I'll answer.
  23. joeunleaded

Which three WR's would you start?

I'd play the first three, though Holmes is tempting. Driver will get his touches. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284411
  24. Looking for some KC homer input - Everyone talks about this year LJ breaking down due to the 416 carry year last year... if and when that happens, would Bennett really carry the load enough to be viewed as a featured RB? Or are we looking at RBBC with Kolby Smith? Bennett, in his prime, was a good pickup. But I don't think its prime time anymore... Egads. As if the Chiefs didn't have enough problems....

im gonna pull the trigger should i?

I'd stay put. SJ is a STUD! SJ beats Portis + Betts BIG TIME. Holt beats Branch, but not by much, and WRs will be week to week - RBs are more of a sure thing, esp SJ. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284411
