    Week 1 WR3

I'm starting Clayton this week - CIN's pass DEF is not that great, and Clayton's the #1 WR with Heap at TE... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284102

    Rate My Draft

neg points for INTs? Between Farve and Kitna, that would be a lot... Other than that, great draft. WRs look really strong... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284061

    Need RB and WR help

Here's my RB corp currently - LJ M Lynch C Taylor D Foster Lynch looked horrible in preseason and has A train in the wings. C Taylor will share / get replaced by AP in short order. D Foster has Williams out there, though I think Foster looked great in the preseason Q: Should I pick up A Train and drop Taylor or Foster? which one? Q: Should I pick up Selvin Young - T Henry will likely get injured soon? Who to drop? On the WR side: TO Mark Clayton P Burress A Toomer Q: What's the deal with Burress's back? Will he last the season? Q: Should I look at Crayton (DAL) and drop one of the NYG WRs? Sleeper WRs I should consider? Leave your link - I'll answer. J O E

got a trade proposal, need to counter

Needs to offer more than bush for wayne - no way I do this trade. bush and mccallister as starting RBs? No way - my two cents. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284061

    Arizona or Minnesota week 1?

Don't believe the neg hype on Gore - he'll do well. I'd play MIN - they tend to have a lot of INTs anyway... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284061

Who to start at RB Week 1?

    That's a big gamble on Betts - I wouldn't do this for week 1. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284061

    Drop Holmes or Jackson

Id think everyone has the same RB issue as you do so I wouldn't sweat it too much. Not crazy that Driver and Favre are both on your team... I wouldn' t drop those two WRs for K Jones. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284061

    Check out my team

Good looking team! I'd maybe find a second RB after SJ, but rest looks great. Depending on how many WRs you start every week, Harrison for Bush could be a good trade - you've got ocho there... MIN as def is not bad if you get extra points for INTs, but if lose points for PA, then MIN could be a problem. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284061

    Duece or Lamont

Definitely Duece - we'll likely see Bush spell and go WR in this shootout... Poor Indy run D http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284061

which Defense: KC vs. HOU or SEA vs. TB

I would think Houston would be a good D to pick up vs a rusty LJ and injured Huard... Of those you listed, my rank: KC vs. HOU OAK vs DET CIN vs. BAL SEA vs. TB BUF vs. DEN http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284061

    Gambino vs. Mikeock

Sorry, mate - odds are Portis will go down - he will have you in a vice. Also, though Manning is the top QB, its not enough to enable me to "help" an opponent. Who was Mike's RD 1 pick? Brady? Caddy? Couldn't tell... Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284061

    Game of the Week.

I'd pick up the Texans def - Carr needs a good game to impress wherever he's going next year, and the city of Houston needs a win. Besides, Cleveland is down to their THIRD string QB starting this week, plus a number of receivers out. Could be a good def game...
  13. Hi guys, You've all been a big help all year - need one more here.... Got a good WR situation, but which three to play this week? Torry Holt is my WR stud - my first WR taken - but has had so-so weeks. Inconsistent this year. They're in Minny, against a rookie QB and a struggling RB, so should be a lot of offense time - but I Bruce and S Jackson have been stealing receptions (S Jackson got over 100 yds RECEIVING last week...) H Ward was stud 2, coming off injury. I didn't start him last week (big mistake), and he did well against a tough BAL def. He's inconsistent as well, and we don't know who's behind center yet - Batch or Roth. Plus they'll be in CIN, and CIN has something to play for. L Coles is typically strong, but had a rough game monday night. He should bounce back, but there are a number of talented receivers on the Jets (Cotchery, etc). They're playing OAK at Oakland, and they have a tough pass DEF. D Driver is off / on, but usually gets his numbers. GB is still hanging on by a thread to playoffs, so they'll put their good guys out there. Problem is they're playing Chicago IN CHI. That will be tough. Finally, picked up R Curry off the waiver wire - he's had three decent games in a row and they're playing the Jets in NY. Jets are trying to stay in contention as well, so it could be a tough game. Thoughts? Thanks!
  14. Tiki Barber in the last game of his career on Thu night at WAS. Could be a huge game, but he didn't step up for the last game of his career in NY. BUT he's my #1 pick - the stud. Dare I sit him? He always gets close to 100yds, though the RARE TD... Ronnie Brown is CLEARLY back and he's playing against the porous IND DEF, but they're playing in Indy, so we could lose some yds / TDs there. Plus he's playing with a QB controversy (Harrington / Lemon), so the passing game may not be reliable. Besides Dayne put the Colts down last week... Speaking of Dayne, he's playing at home against Cleveland, who also has a porous run DEF, and a THIRD string QB playing this week. He could have a monster game. He is the HOU offense, Carr will have some yardage, but it will likely be a steady dose of the running game. The thing is what is Dayne has an off day early? We could see more of Lundy or even Chris Taylor.... its a risk... Then there's C Taylor.... leaning against him to be honest - two weeks of sub par performance, but he is playing the ailing Giants at home (MIN) - he's got a rookie QB behind him too, which is part of the problem, plus the Giants are in a MUST WIN situation to make the playoffs... HELP! (Nice problem to have, I know....)

    Dayne or C Taylor (tonight)?

OK... Chester Taylor came back from a rib injury last week - posted 30 something yards TOTAL. This will be a great rebound game for him... IF he does well in rainy weather and IF M Moore and A Pinner don't interfere. He plays tonight against a poor GB team AT GB.... possibly Farve's last game at Lambeau. Oh, and Chester has a rookie QB behind him, who is playing his 2nd NFL game, and starting his first. So no real passing game to speak of... Ron Dayne has been on a streak the last three weeks, posting 90 something yds + 1 TD vs NE... they get Indy this week, who has a poor run DEF.... should be a no brainer except for the fact that Indy stood up the run pretty well last week AND they probably won't respect the pass with D Carr back there... I figure they'll rush every time - stuff the run, sack the QB, or take their chances with a pass from Carr.... I have Chester in there now, whose one of my studs, but don't want to mess it up in the playoffs! Help!!!
  16. joeunleaded

    Dayne or C Taylor (tonight)?

Hope I dodged a bullet here - started Dayne instead of Chester... run Ron run! Not that there's anything wrong with Chester. (Sorry, I couldn't help myself...)
  17. joeunleaded

    starting Dayne

would you bench C Taylor (tonight) for Dayne? That's my dilemma. C Taylor, who came off of rib injury last week to run for ~30 yds, is playing tonight at GB where Farve will likely play at home for the last time (he does miracles in these types of games). Plus C Taylor has T Jackson, a rookie in his second NFL game, at QB. This is why I'm considering starting Dayne - sometimes there is reason to do this... Or is there?
  18. joeunleaded

    starting Dayne

FWP vs a top def (BAL) or Dayne vs a poor def (IND).... But you're right - cajones....

    Championship Week!

I don't know about gambling on Furry - I'd go MM - one of the few receivers that Rex gets to...
  20. joeunleaded

PLAYOFF RB HELP needed ! !

Clearly Betts - St Louis will get a steady dose of the run game, and then bombs.
  21. joeunleaded

    Dayne or C Taylor (tonight)?

Thanks for the input - I can't believe I'm thinking about having Dayne help me get to the SuperBowl.... is this the Bizarro world????
  22. I've got the same problem! Here's what I had on my post... It sounds like I should go C Taylor.... but how can we bench him????!!!
  23. joeunleaded

    Ronnie Brown...

I wonder if he'll share the same fate as C Taylor on his first week back after a couple of weeks out... 30 something yards.... And didn't C Taylor play the Jets last week....???
  24. joeunleaded

    Great DAYNE....avail on my ww

Houston homer here. Kubiak (along with the rest of Houston) has lost faith in D Carr's ability on the Texans. I'm surprised he's still playing instead of Rosenfels (we don't have anything to lose anyway.... since Week 10 that is...) Point is that last week, NE had us down MAJOR early, but Dayne got the rock a lot because he was a sure thing. Carr, unfortunately, is not. Too bad. I was / am still a believer in Carr - he's just been hit one too many times... My dilemma this week is Tiki + C Taylor / R Brown / R Dayne.
  25. My RBs are in turmoil (Ronnie Brown out, C Taylor possibly out, T Barber with ONE TD, and Ron Dayne against the PATS), but need to figure out WHICH THREE of my WRs to play... (very adept WW work - no easy task...) Holt @ OAK - a must start IMHO, vs OAK for goodness sake! Driver vs DET - went monster last week, game is in GB, DET is atrocious, but Driver doesn't always get the love... Coles @ MIN - tough MIN def, and Coles has been on / off this season, as has Pennington Booker @ BUF - will it snow? will that affect Booker / Harrington that much? what about an underrated BUF def? Ward @ CAR - will he play? Leaning toward Holt, Driver, and Ward (if he plays). If no Ward, then Booker. What do you think?
