    Laurence Maroney

I've got Maroney in a dynasty league and I was offered Leinart & Randy Moss. I have no doubt that Maroney is going to be a great RB, but is this an offer I can't refuse?

I originally had Norwood in my lineup today, but I changed it to Maroney. I still feel good!!!
  3. I draft last in a 12 team League. I start 2Qbs, 2-3Rbs, 3-4Wrs, 1Te, 1K. I've been debating taking 2 RBs with my first 2 picks but my choices are not that thrilling. Lamont Jordan, Willis McGahee and Domanick Davis stand out the most right now. I'm thinking of taking Lamont and Willis or 1 of the top 3 Wrs and Lamont or Willis. I had Steve Smith last year, but I don't think he'll have the same dominating stats this year. In my opinion due to an easy passing schedule and a rebound from a groin injury, I feel Randy Moss will be back in a huge way. Randy Moss has made okay QBs in the past into great Fantasy QBs when healthy. Do you agree or disagree or do I just take the 2 RBs and grab someone like Anquan Boldin and Reggie Wayne with my 3rd & 4th picks.

    Gates vs. Chambers

Chris Chambers! Culpepper throwing him the ball will produce monster numbers! Philip Rivers can throw deeper than Drew Brees and will be able to finally hit his WRs, not to mention LT getting more Receptions.

Who to take with the first pick?

Shaun Alexander! Easiest rushing schedule! Younger Offensive Line! Superbowl Bound!

Give me your top 11 rb's

    1. Shaun Alexander-Easiest Rushing Schedule, Nuff Said! 2. Ladanian Tomlinson-Rivers will not be as big a factor as many think. 3. Larry Johnson-Willie Roafs possible retirement or injury will be a huge blow to the running game 4. Clinton Portis-I'd rate higher if the division wasn't the toughest. 5. Steven Jackson-If new coach sticks to running game as stated, he will be huge. 6. Rudi Johnson-Best Offensive Line in the NFL, Perry hurting helps. 7. Edgerrin James-Would be at 6, if not questions on Offensive Line 8. Tiki Barber-Toughest Schedule, over 30 years old, Brandon Jacobs will get more touches. 9. Cadillac Williams-Better than Ronnie Brown, better Coach in Gruden 10. Ronnie Brown-All depends on Culpepper, Joey will not help. 11. Lamont Jordan-O-line sucks, but will compensate with receiving stats.

    Kevin Jones & Mike Martz

I pick 12th in a 12 man redraft. There is no doubt in my mind that I'll be taking 2 RBs with my first 2 picks. Kevin Jones will be my 2nd pick. The upside is too hard to ignore. Playing it safe never won me a championship. You have to take chances. After researching what Mike Martz in his first year for St. Louis, I'm betting that lightning strikes twice.

    Kevin Jones & Mike Martz

I'm of the mind that why would I want to draft a general concensus safe pick in the early 2nd round (example: Willis Mcgahee, Brian Westbrook, Julius Jones or Domanick Davis) with as many question marks as someone with what I believe could have 1st round potential. Kevin Jones has the ability to produce equal if not better numbers than the aforementioned RBs. Mcgahee's line is not great and neither is the QB. Westbrook sounds good, but his injuries are scary. Julius Jones has Marion Barber breathing down his neck and Domanick Davis is now in a system where the Coach likes to use multiple RBs for his attacks and believes in the PASS setting up the run. Kevin Jones is in a system that has proven results for RBs. So, I ask you. Why not Kevin Jones? By the way, Martz is not the coach of the team, only the offensive coordinator. If you look at his results as OC, they're pretty good. Martz as a HC obviously was a mistake. Winning your league is done during the middle rounds. Injuries happen all the time. In a what if world of no injuries, where does Kevin Jones rank now?

    Kevin Jones & Mike Martz

Great debate guys, I'm going to paste the quote from a very reliable Fantasy Football website. Anyone who uses the site will know where I got this from. "A few years ago, not coincidently after a relatively unknown QB coach, Mike Martz, left an apprenticeship with Norv Turner's timing/multiple in WAS to unleash his version in STL to unbelievable fantasy levels, the Hot Stove has tracked these coaching movements, with the sole purpose of predicting fantasy breakouts, what you guys refer to as "sleepers". When a Martz brings in a Marshall Faulk specifically to jump start his scheme [a RB, not a QB], as he did in '99 which made even his #3 WR fantasy relevant, not to mention his journeyman-level QB." This is the reason why I asked about Kevin Jones. I'm not sold on him being a top 10 back, but I'm a big fan of offensive schemes and good offensive lines. Detroit has the hardest passing schedule in the NFL. If Marshall Faulk was such a great RB, why did Indy trade him after 5 years with the team. His stats in Indy good, but not great. His numbers are not that far off from Kevin Jones's rookie year. Under Martz's system he exploded. His first year there (1999) his average was better than it ever was in Indy. In 2000 he was just a monster. So I ask, would Marshall Faulk have been the great RB that we know him now to be if he wasn't in Martz's system.
  10. RB, RB, TE, RB is the way to go. I drafted at the #5 spot in a 12 man redraft. My first 4 picks were Edge, Lamont Jordan, Antonio Gates & Warrick Dunn.
