Kurt Warner has only played all 16 games a season 3 times and all 3 were also Superbowl Appearances. Scary thing is he's played 11 seasons going on number 12. He has yet to stay healthy in back to back seasons. If you have Warner, you better make sure you handcuff him with Leinart. Warner goes down, Leinart automatically becomes waiver wire gold.

Baltimore plays Kansas City week 1. That's enough for me to start Ray Rice.

To give you a better idea of Bradys value. My 5 keepers before my trade were Brady, Westbrook, Hightower, Chambers & Witten. I traded Brady away and my new 5 are Mcnabb, Westbrook, Jacobs, Braylon Edwards and Antonio Bryant. I couldn't say no to that value going into the new year.

Raven's Backfield: McGahee, Rice, McClain, Peerman
Nitsugua replied to Carl Eller's Dead Liver's topic in FFToday Board
I have Westbrook, Jacobs, Kevin Smith and Ray Rice on my roster. So far for week 1, I'm really tempted to start Ray Rice against KC, one of the worst rushing D's from last year. Westbrook mending makes it an easier decision, plus my opponent is pretty weak overall in my dynasty. -

Just read today that Baltimore will probably release Mcgahee due to his poor work ethic since signing his multiyear contract. I don't see Mcgahee as a factor is this years offense, the writing in on the wall. Anyone willing to take a chance on Rice as a 3rd or 4th RB will be paid dividends before the season is over. Mark my words, he will be shooting up the rankings before the season starts. Get him now while he's cheap. -

As a Ray Rice owner in a Dynasty League, I couldn't be more excited of his chances for success this year. The Ravens drafted a tackle that is only going to help the running game, an OC that turns RBs into studs (Tomlinson, Ronnie Brown) and on top of that the Ravens have one of if not the easiest rushing schedule for 2009. Don't be gunshy to trade for or draft Ray Rice to be a RB2 and possibly borderline RB1 as the season progresses. -
Ricky Williams will be a top 15 back this year. The addition of Chad Pennington is just enough to keep the defenses honest. Ricky has fresh legs and a better attitude. The guy is going to be the best 3rd RB on anyones roster. I've also kept close eye on camp reports and it's all positive. Ronnie Brown will come in, but he won't have the legs. No RB has come back the year after and done well after a knee injury. Why would the Dolphins take that chance? Let Ricky run, especially since he's going to be a free agent after this year. Ricky has plenty of motivation. Let Ronnie Brown come back a year later healthier.

I noticed you only mentioned Manning and Romo as possibles for your QB. Any reason why Brady is not a consideration? All he's going to do is throw TDs again. He has the easiest passing schedule in the NFL this year. You'll be able to get a good RB on the wraparound, or if you really want to jump ahead, grab Randy Moss, take the combo and take RB, RB in rounds 3 & 4. Mock it, see how your team looks.

Selving Youngs 2 best games were against KC, all the rest were mediocre games. You need to keep an eye on Andre Hall, his 2 starts were against Tennessee and Chicago, and he did pretty good those DEFs.

Berrian & SHolmes hands down. Until Leinart get's his confidence back, Fitz would be on my bench this week. Bears will roll on KC and Pittsburgh will be throwing just like they said they would.
-
Chris Chambers against Dallas. Look what Plaxico did.
-
Arnaz Battle hands down. He will be the breakout WR this year. Toomer & Mason will be the same, both have QB questions now after week1.

Me thinks you'll have to have a redraft after looking at that open team.

Anyone else think Caddy has top 10 potential this season ?
Nitsugua replied to The Moz's topic in FFToday Board
In Gruden's West Coast Offense, Garcia should benefit the most. Caddy will be used like a Charlie Garner and Pittman like a Zach Crockett. Caddy will get his yards, but IMO Pittman could get 10 tds to Caddy's 6. Caddy is a 3rd RB, don't draft him higher. -
Are the G-Men gonna be bad this year? And can Droughns actually bust into Jacob's workload
Nitsugua replied to Vanillarainstorm's topic in FFToday Board
The Giants will have to use RBBC to help them win any games, especially if their Run D is that bad. Jacobs could have a huge year ( I hope he does), but what good is a running game if they don't have the lead going into the fourth quarter. Eli needs to step it up and utilize his weapons. He needs to stop over thinking every throw and just play. -
Big key to the Eagles success is Mcnabb. Will he come back 100 percent and if not, how much will it hurt the team? Westbrook will be the focus this season to help Mcnabb stay healthy, but then that leaves Westbrook with a huge question mark also. Eagles are thin at backup QB & RB. An injury to either position hurts them big time. If they're healthy, I see 10-6 easy, either one gets hurt, they're lucky to be 6-10.

Whether Michael Vick is found guilty or not, his image is tarnished forever in the public eye. Love him or hate him, he's done. IMO he's a piece of crap, but just like O.J. there are people that will never believe he was a part of the crime. The difference between Dogs & humans fighting is dogs will fight to the death, hence the thrill for people like Michael Vick. There is no referee getting in the middle of the fight to stop it. We're all guilty of cheering him on in the NFL & buying the product he endorses. Any fine of less than $1,000,000 is nothing to him. Hit him where it hurts, his pockets. Either that hope he falls and breaks both his legs. IMO. This has nothing to do with Fantasy Football, just my opinion on a person and yes Paris Hilton deserves more time in jail.

If Bulger or Brees are available, that would be awesome. For my WR, Plaxico or Evans are also great, but I'd like to see what TE would be available.

Laurence Maroney reportedly had offseason surgery
Nitsugua replied to SayChowda's topic in FFToday Board
As a fellow Maroney Dynasty owner, I'm hoping for a Frank Gore type of year. Last year I made the mistake of not taking Gore because of his 2 shoulder surgeries. He had a hell of a year. If Maroney has the attitude and the skills, he should be a top 10 back this season. -

Call me selfish, but I'd love to see one of my cheap keepers start in Denver.

Do you agree or disagree on Kevin Jones having a Marshall Faulk type year under Martz's system? I figure if Martz can make Faulk who was a 2nd round pick at the time a superstar, who's to say Jones won't do the same. Detroit has the WRs to mimic what St. Louis had at the time and a decent QB to get them the ball. Detroit's defense should be somewhat decent. What do you guys think?

It's nice to see that halfway into the Fantasy Football season that Kevin Jones is doing what I said he would do. He's a top 5 back in my leagues. Do you think that same production will continue or is a drop off in sight due to the harder schedule after the bye?
