Anyone rolling with Torain this week?

Me too. I'm leaving Ryan Mathews on the bench.
  2. I've just been offered this trade. Aaron Rodgers, Roddy White for Frank Gore, Matt Ryan. My team right now. QB; Rodgers, McNabb RB's : Mathews, Torain, Forte. WR's: White, Fitzgerald, Holmes, Lloyd. Should I make the trade to upgrade my RB's? I have decent WR's in Holmes and Lloyd to take White's place. Jay Cutler was just dropped too so I could pick him up and go with McNabb, Ryan, and Cutler to replace Rodgers. This league only plays two WR's each, not three. WR get 1 point for 15 yds. RB's get 1 point for every 10 yds.

    Addai or Slaton

I have to make the same decision. I'm leaning towards Slaton. Pitt has only allowed two rushing TD's all year. Plus I don't think they have let anybody get over 65 yards rushing in a game. Baltimore does have some injuries on defense. I think I'm going with Slaton at home against the Ravens.

White seems like the safe bet. Go with him.

What Was Your Biggest Draft Mistake?

Mine was drafting Rudi and Henry with the 10th and 11th picks. Eight of the first 9 picks were RB's and I panicked. I should have taken a top WR with one of those picks instead of reaching on the RB's. My next blunder was taking Bulger instead of Brady in the 3rd round. My gut said Brady, but my draft sheet said Bulger. I totally screwed up my draft.

ESPN News reporting Hackett is OUT!

Seattle paper says he's starting. http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/footbal...from=blog_last3 INJURY REPORT In addition to Hasselbeck, left tackle Walter Jones (sore shoulders), wide receiver D.J. Hackett (sore knee) and defensive tackle Rocky Bernard (sore groin) practiced for the first time this week. Each will start against the Rams. Matt Hasselbeck. The Seahawks quarterback was scheduled to do some throwing on the side during practice. Instead, he participated in all phases of the practice, and looked sharp and pain-free despite sitting out Wednesday and Thursday with sore ribs. "The weather was nice. I was feeling pretty good," Hasselbeck said. "So I just asked the coaches if I could get out there and do a little more than we had planned to."

    More trouble in Detroit

The owner told the coaches to throw to Calvin Johnson more. http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/artic.../711230386/1126 Ford calls Johnson's number DETROIT -- It should come as no surprise that the Lions finally decided to throw the ball to Calvin Johnson. The directive to do so came from the top. Lions owner William Clay Ford instructed the coaching staff this past week to throw more to Johnson, a source told The Detroit News. Lions officials Thursday would not confirm or deny that the coaches were asked to get the ball to Johnson, the second overall pick in April's NFL draft, though it was clear he was more involved than he had been in any other game this season.

    B.Marshall or hackett?

Hackett has some swelling his knee. I don't think it's serious though. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6916/news Nov 21 Hackett did not practice Wednesday because of some swelling in his knee, the Seattle News Tribune reports. Recommendation: More on Hackett's status for Sunday's game against the Rams in the coming days.

I'm benching Driver for Hackett this week. That means Driver will probably have a huge day.

    Selvin Young Status

Sounds like Henry will be around at least one more week. http://www.denverpost.com/sports/ci_7517129 No Henry announcement today By Bill Williamson The Denver Post Article Last Updated: 11/20/2007 03:28:28 PM MST There will be no announcement on a ruling on Travis Henry's appeal hearing today, meaning the running back will likely be available to face the Bears on Sunday if healthy. A league spokesman said there will be no announcement made today. Under usual league guidelines, once the work week starts on Wednesday and teams start preparations for the next game in earnest there are no rulings that affect personnel. Thus, Denver likely won't hear Henry's fate until next Monday at the earliest. He had his appeal on a pending one-year suspension for marijuana heard Friday in Phoenix. Henry has missed the past two games with a knee injury.

    Kevin Jones

Jones could be out this week. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6789/news Nov 13 The Lions are considered holding Jones (foot) out of Sunday's game against the Giants in order to preserve him for the Thanksgiving Day contest against the Packers, MLive.com reports. Recommendation: Jones has needed four or five days to let his foot fully recover after each game, and it complicates matters further that he had to leave Sunday's loss to Arizona twice because of soreness in his surgically-repaired left foot. With the Thanksgiving Day game, he'd be very doubtful to play next Thursday against Green Bay in the wake of a Sunday contest against the Giants. We'll see if this is something the Lions plan on following through with leading into Sunday, but Jones owners may want to scoop T.J. Duckett up off the waiver wire just to hedge their bets for the next two games.

I drafted the "All Bust Team"

Rudi Johnson Travis Henry Bulger Jacobs Javon Walker Baltimore Calvin Johnson The funny part is. My last three picks(K. Jones, Witten, K Curtis) of the draft were better than my first three picks(Rudi, Henry, Bulger).
