Trade AP? On the fence, help!

First year this league has done an auction, I made the mistake of basing it off my other league that has done auction for 6 or 7 years. Top RB's go for 80+ in that league (quite aggressive). My plan was to bid him up to set a precedent for the draft in order to use my previous experience as an advantage. It clearly backfired! i've never been one to prefer having most of my funds tied up in one player, to risky.

Sounds like a plan, an honestly as a vikes homer the answer I was hoping to end up with!
  3. We start: QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, FLEX, K, DEF My squad: Stafford Vick AP Vereen Lawfirm Ingram P.Thomas Demaryious Julio J Jordy Lance Moore Michael Floyd Finnley Auction league, got AP for 73 out of 200. Immediately put him on the block Proposed trade Brees, Trent Richardson for AP and Jordy Standard scoring + PPR
  4. Oh the individual players are locked 5 minutes before their game time... but actual transactions (add/drops) are currently set to sunday. Sorry for the confusion.
  5. Ours didn't lock until Sunday... we just plain forgot to take Thursday into consideration (playoffs started this weekend). A team had Cambell on their roster, granted as a backup. Since the rosters weren't locked, he was able to pickup a new backup QB. Cambell had to remain on his roster though. What do most leagues do? It seems to put a few teams at a slight advantage if they have someone going thursday... in regards to injuries and backups. Especially during a crucial time like the playoffs.

Commissioner Rule that is unbelievable !

We all draft a college player on draft day. His performance vs. your opponents performance depicts the tie breaker. Then the following year, you have a +2 quid advantage to pick him up in the auction (assuming he goes pro)
