I am in bad shape and was thinking of offering Julio Jones, who is on bye this week, for Hakeem Nicks and David Wilson. Julio is very good, but he is not the top 3 guy many people thought he would be at the beginning of this season. I think Wilson's upside, coupled with a now healthy Nicks, will give me a solid trade. 1. Should I do it? 2. Is it a fair offer or am I wasting my time and my potential trade partners.

Getting married in June, and leaning towards a Myrtle beach BP. Primarily need a suggestion on a hotel that would be best for 15 or so guys in their late 20's. Would rather not goto a family type resort. Also, any particular golf course recommendations. I've never been, nor has any of my boys.

The Berger coming off a huge game where he got injured and he is up against BAL. Ryan playing at home in a dome vs TB in a must win. Thoughts?

What if the bullet had hit and killed someone else rather than him? His sentence would have been far more severe. The difference between the two scenarios is luck and luck alone. I don't think someone should be given leniency or a slap on the wrist because of something outside of their control. The punishment fits the crime. -

It's shear luck on his part that no one is dead. Our starting Middle Linebacker could have gotten a hole in his head if the gun had fallen a different way. Our gun laws are the reason New York is one of the safest cities in the country, and even in troubling economic times such as these, we are on pace for record low number of homicides. So Florida can keep their lax laws. -
Although I like Jennings, I'm targeting Driver, the poor man's Jennings, with a later pick. Still get exposure to that high powered offense but for a cheaper price.

Just took a look at both their schedules, and doesn't look good for either team really. CIN finishes off the regular season against KC, but for the most part, both teams are playing against pretty solid teams the rest of the season....

Explains why the "B" is backward...b!tch did it to herself while in front of a mirror. -
The Eagles bar is Town Tavern on West 3rd, basically right around the corner. My Sunday football bar is usually Copper Door on 3rd Ave in the mid 20's. They have a good special from 1-4...$25 all you can drink plus one entree....
-
I have been and it is a pretty good bar. There are literally thousands though....do you want to be around a certain fan base? Barrow Street is a Boston bar, or so I recall, so will prob have a lot of Pat's fans....

I'm attempting to trade for him. I'm weak at WR already, so why not. I have depth at RB and have offered LJ, who I think is a prime Trade-High candidate. As has been said, they have to do something over bye week, whether get offense more in sync, or ideally, bring in a strong arm QB FA.
-
Wow, thats a tough one. I'd lean toward Campbell I think. As mentioned earlier, H'Back has got some of his targets coming back and has way more upside from current performance thus far. Both he and JT go against some really questionable Defenses, too. Campbell I think can be pretty solid for the rest of the year, but that division is loaded defensively.
-
I'd go with Collins. Long term, he's a solid pickup, more so than Griese I think. He's going against a questionable secondary. The Rams are beyond awful. They will never get it together. The only positve spin on Bulger is that their Def stinks, so they will be playing catch up alot.

Have two potential deals on the table right now, nothing firm... 1. Giving up LJ for Randy Moss 2. Edge for Holmes Figure the Pats will put something together over the bye, whether they get in sync on Offense, or bring in a vet QB. LJ is coming off a big week, butthat won't continue as that team is in total disarray. Edge is sitting on my bench right now, and the guy with Holmes has Hightower. Edge isnt getting TD's, otherwise I'd keep him. My Wr's are terrible.....Roy Williams, Holt, and Galloway starting w/ Coles as primary backup. My current Rb's are Lynch, LJ, Edge, Slaton, Norwood.

If the season ends today, I won't make the playoffs. My team has scored over 1500 points in my 12 team auction, 1st place in points by over 100 over the next team, yet I am 6-6. I am currently 7th and top 6 make the playoffs. I have been doing fantasy for awhile now, and have never seen such a disparity, and of course it happens to my team. Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, may want to start a support group...
-
Honestly, I haven't. I dont have the depth. I've been lucky that I have stayed healthy. And even if I have made mistakes, the point is the disparity between points and win/loss, not mgmt decisions. Ive seen first palce teams who have middle of the pack point totals, but for a team to be in the lead in points by a week's worth of points and be in seventh place is something I've never heard of before.
-
None of those points were on my bench, @sshat

Not sure what time the mets-reds game is, but you should grab the 7 train early, take it to the woodside stop and grab a burger before the game at donovans, recently voted best burger in the city. you'll get your b@lls busted by all the mets fans there, but worth the trip...its only 3 or 4 more stops to Shea from there. -

Does anyone remember from one of the earlier seasons how tony's dad was killed? wasnt it at a restaurant and tony, as a little kid, watched from a few feet away from the table, the same way meadow was most likely just about to see tony get whacked. -
