  1. Standard scoring. I'm giving up Thomas. He is on my bench because I start Graham. My RB's are terrible. Is Lamar worth it? Thanks.

    Brandon Marshall

sapp asked him about it in the post game and marshall replied saying basically it was something painted half white and half black in honor of obama, the black power salute at the olympics, and the collective white/black united states of america. he also added that stokely talked him out of it given the potential to get flagged in the close game.

    CBS draft

yes, that is exactly what you would do. if you can get some of the owners in your league to bring their laptops they can log into the draft page and pick for themselves... giving you a break at least for a couple of teams. you as the commish can pick for everyone else that doesn't have a computer at the draft. its very simple and works great.

    CBS draft

we did the same thing from a restaurant with WiFi. some guys brought their laptops, logged into the draft room and made their own picks. as the commish you can enter picks for everyone once their picks are up, good for the guys who didn't bring computers. it worked great for us and definitely saves you the hassle of entering the teams manually. you can set a time limit or have no time limit. if you don't want the website to make automatic picks for guys who go over the time limit make sure you turn the draft robot off. definitely a great draft tool by cbs.
  7. i have smith too. i picked up both mccown and anderson off waivers. starting mccown this week... fingers crossed. anything is better than what smith has done.

    Addai vs. LJ

we all know the news, LJ's holdout, his workload too high, lost another lineman, may be signing soon, etc. comparatively speaking... who is likely to have better numbers this year between these two? has anyone seen Addai going before LJ in drafts? has Addai now moved passed LJ on your list in redrafts and keeper leagues? I like Addai long term but still think even with all the negative circumstances surrounding LJ this year, he's higher than Addai.

    Keep Addai over LJ?

am i worrying too much about LJ holdout status, number of carries, etc.? who has the better year?
  10. http://www.thejournalnews.com/apps/pbcs.dl.../705290403/1108 Giants and Jets instituting pre-paid parking permit policy By STAFF REPORTS (Original publication: May 29, 2007) Giants and Jets season-ticket holders will have to abide by a new parking policy that includes pre-paid permits and off-site parking beginning this season. Because of the loss of 5,000 parking spaces due to the construction of a new stadium in the lots between the arena and the stadium, only those with pre-paid permits will be allowed to park at the Meadowlands Complex. Those without a permit will be directed to an off-site lot approximately two miles away and will have to take a shuttle bus to get to the game. The permits are priced at $150 each, and will be sold based on the number of season tickets in each holder's account. This is the breakdown for the Giants' plan: Accounts with 1-5 season tickets: One permit. 6-10 tickets: Two permits. 11-15 tickets: Three permits. 16-20 tickets: Four permits. 21-25 tickets: Five permits. 26 or more tickets: Six permits. The Jets' plan is similar, except that those accounts with 21-50 tickets will be entitled to buy five permits, and those over 50 tickets will be entitled to buy six permits. The limit for both teams is six permits. Jets ticket-holders must purchase their permits by June 15. Giants ticket-holders will receive an invoice in the coming weeks. Details on shuttle bus routes and schedules are still being finalized. The permits cover eight regular season and two preseason games, which averages out to $15 per game. That's the same price as last year for those who parked on the stadium side of the Meadowlands, but represents a $5 per game price hike for those who parked on the arena side.
  11. sounds easy enough but i've already got a potential addition to the league saying he is at a disadvantage as most players kept are likely 1st and 2nd round picks. his argument is that he'd be picking up 3rd and 4th round talent as keepers. although there are sure to be 1st and 2nd round talent available in the expansion draft (due to some teams being stacked), its difficult to convince a guy that he should buck up $200+ when he's got no shot at getting a top tier guy. if we reduce the number of keepers to 1 each offense/defense this might help but then its asking a lot of the guys who've been in the league for 5 years and made trades, pickups, etc. to get the guys they want. any creative ways to keep everyone happy?
  12. if its 1 pass per 4 tickets thats brutal! we have 6 seats for NYG... two passes is a must with all the extras in the car.
  13. our league currently consists of 10 teams with 3 offensive keepers and 2 defensive keepers without restrictions. we are thinking about expanding the league to 12 teams. what is the best (most fair) way to get the expansion teams in on the action? if we add the two teams we are throwing around the idea of limiting the keepers to 2 offense and 1 defense. any suggestions? much appreciated.
  14. O I don't know you... but I know a similar fight through my mother's experience. the doctor's originally said she was finished after 6 months with lung cancer. turns out they were wrong by 4+ years... keep your head up and keep up the fight man. you'll be back in no time. Godspeed. BCR
