Full-point PPR. WR1 is .. Mike Wilson! Current WR2 is W-Rob @ NE. And, FLEXing .. Sutton @ WAS. Egbuka really has not done anything since week 4 (with one blow-up week). It was an easy decision .. but I see that Baker was FULL on Friday, and is Questionable. TB plays ARI. Hmmmm.. I also have Parker Washington @ TEN .. but I see that Brian Thomas Jr. was FULL on Thursday. And I was able to dump Pearsall for Jennings. SF is at a tough CLE DEF, and he is at best the #3 option behind C-Mac and Kittle.. Thoughts?? Leave YOUR link, I reply!

WR2 & Flex: W-Rob, Sutton, Egbuka, Parker or Jauan?
Bills04 replied to Bills04's topic in A Little Help!
Update .. 1: looks like Baker will play. And, so will C. Godwin. That will hopefully lessen ARI DEF's attention to Egbuka. NE's 2ndary scares me.. Gonna sit W-Rob for Egbuka. -

Nomad: per-game stats: Tgts favor MH slightly (6.9 to 6.45 / game); receptions favor Wilson slightly (4.3 to 3.8). No TDs for Wilson (yet!). FWIW - I'm also starting McBride. -
Uh .. I can think of over 2,000 reasons they were NOT right last season! (And, he could have gotten the record - he was held out the last week of the regular season.) Also - remember; last year's OC took the Saints HC job.
-
WTF is it with these defensive players, who think "thumping" a professional athlete with their shoulder will take them down?? That "tackle" by Valentine was obnoxious.. If I lose this week by less than 5, it is on him. (Goff 4-point TD, and roughly 1 point for 20+yard completion)..
-
I'm currently rolling with Nix. DEN should dominate the time of possession, and WAS is bottom-5 pass DEF. It is tough to sit Dak .. but he's put up three duds this year, and KC is basically in playoff-mode / can't afford any more losses. Also, when Dak last played a Mahomes KC team, he went 216/0/2.. Anyone else .. brave enough to sit Dak?? For who? Thoughts??

CLE DEF sure paid off; 10 sacks! “In general,” not much on the WW again for this week. One Team Owner in my league made some last-minute changes Sunday AM, so I have some high-quality peeps I'm going to bid for. But, for most peeps: there is NO RB2 Devin Neal at a weak MIA DEF (but has been playing better of late); CIN WR A. Iosivas is a good pick-up (again; Higgins is concussed) – even though not much last week; and if you like rolling the dice, NO TE2 T. Hill could be in play, with Kamara banged up. For me, I'm going to be dropping SF WR2 R. Pearsall for SF WR1 J. Jennings! And, dropping WAS RB “Bill” Croskey for DET RB2 D. Montgomery. Oh, and I just analyzed the Wk 15 thru 17 matchups. Going to drop CLE DEF for TB DEF. What is everyone else doin'?

The G-Men's DC definitely had to go.. Giants fired DC Shane Bowen. The dismissal of Bowen has felt like a foregone conclusion for weeks, especially after losses to the Broncos and Bears in which they held double-digit leads with less than six minutes left. The Giants blew their fifth 10-point, fourth quarter lead of the season in Week 12’s loss to the Lions to tie an NFL record. The blown leads compounded with a defense that ranks 30th in both yards and points allowed simply became too much for a Giants team that is finishing out eight’s eighth losing season of the last nine years. Interim head coach Mike Kafka had the Giants in position to pull off an upset road win over the Lions but were outscored 17-0 after grabbing a 27-17 lead. Kafka has been a hot name in coaching circles over the last few offseasons, and is auditioning to become the next coach of the Giants over the final six weeks of the season, and needs all the help he can get from the staff in place. Kafka is expected to name an interim defensive coordinator in the near future. Raiders fired OC Chip Kelly. Kelly’s time with the Raiders lasted just 11 games, yet this move still feels past due. The offense averaged 4.6 yards per play, 6.67 yards per pass play and 3.5 yards per carry. The Raiders’ front office signed Kelly to a contract that paid him $6 million per year, back in February, making him the NFL’s highest-paid offensive coordinator. His results were extremely disappointing. Seeing him return to the college ranks would be unsurprising.

Oooooo! Thanks for that, Overkill. I'll put in a bid for him, as I'll likely get out-bid for DET RB2 D. Montgomery (only have 25% left; bidding 3% for him). Per Wikipedia: Freshman year Neal played in all 12 of Kansas's games during his freshman season and rushed for 707 yards and eight touchdowns on 158 carries.[6] He became the first freshman in school history to be named the Big 12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week after rushing 24 times for 143 yards and three touchdowns and also catching two passes for 26 yards and one touchdown.[7] Neal finished his freshman year with 158 carries for 707 yards and 8 touchdowns rushing, along with 7 catches for 57 yards and 1 touchdown. He also played in seven games for Kansas's baseball team as a freshman.[8] Sophomore year Neal with the Kansas Jayhawks in 2022 Neal was named the Jayhawks' starting running back entering his sophomore season.[9][10] He was named the Doak Walker Award national running back of the week and the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week after gaining 224 yards and scoring a touchdown on 32 carries and 110 yards on six receptions in a 37-16 over Oklahoma State.[11][12] Neal was the first player to have at least 200 rushing yards and 100 receiving yards in the same game and the win made the Jayhawks bowl-eligible for the first time since 2008.[13] Neal played in all 13 of the Jayhawks' games in 2022, rushing 180 times for 1,090 yards and 9 touchdowns while adding 21 catches for 183 yards and 1 touchdown. Junior year Neal played every game for the Jayhawks during his junior season. In a game against Nevada, Neal rushed for 89 yards and scored three touchdowns and also had a career-high 59-yard reception. Against Central Florida, Neal ran the ball 12 times for 154 yards, averaging 12.8 yards per carry with one touchdown. In the game against Oklahoma, Neal had 25 rushes for a total of 112 yards and a touchdown. Against Texas, he rushed for 137 yards on 19 carries and scored three touchdowns. He rushed 18 times against Kansas State for 138 yards and tied his career-high with three touchdowns. Neal had 10 carries against Cincinnati for 108 yards, averaging 10.8 yards per carry and scored two touchdowns in a road victory. In total, Neal rushed 203 times for 1,280 yards and 16 touchdowns, as well as 1 receiving touchdown.[14] Senior year Neal started every game for the Jayhawks during his senior season. In their game against #17 Iowa State, Neal passed June Henley to become Kansas' all-time leader in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns, finishing the game with 116 yards and two touchdowns [15] In his final home game, Neal had one of the defining games of his career, finishing with 287 total yards from scrimmage and four touchdowns against #16 ranked Colorado.[16] Neal finished his career with 4,343 rushing yards and 49 rushing touchdowns, both school records.[17] Neal graduated from Kansas with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business.

Keep an eye on NE RB R. Stevenson.. If he's back, he could resume the RB1 role.. Henderson lit-up the preseason, and he still sat behind Stevenson to begin the year.
-
Definitely Marks and Jenkins. Probably McMillan, after what ARI did to SF last week.
-
Ha, ha - I knew that! Gotta play Wilson, after last week. And, Olave, without Shaheed there anymore. EZ PZ!
-
I hope peeps saw my “Addition” post, regarding ARI WR M. Wilson last week! Wahoo!! PIT DEF also paid off big-time, for last week's WW activity. But, otherwise - ugh .. another week with slim pickings on the waiver-wire.. Two stand out, though – and I'm gonna be flipping PIT DEF. I'll be dropping WAS RB “Bill” Croskey, and try to get GB RB E. Wilson. I don't think I'll get him - but as a 1-week flier, CIN WR A. Iosivas is a good pick-up. (I'll instead FLEX NYG WR W-Rob.) And regarding PIT DEF – they are @ CHI, and CHI doesn't allow opposing DEFs to score.. So, I'll try and grab CLE DEF @ LVR. What is everyone else doin'?

I think I had a good link for this.. Got a new PC last year, and didn't offload my browser favorites.. I saw that someone is concerned about wind in DEN today?? If anyone has a site / link that has the weather for each team hosting a game each week - please share! Thanks!!

Excellent!! Thank Flipper!

Full-point PPR. RB1 = Saquon, RB2 = Woody. WR1 = Egbuka, WR2 = Sutton. TE = McBride. I'm currently rolling with "the only ARI WR standing," M. Wilson, Home vs. SF. Historically, when he's been "the guy," he's done well (5/78, and 7/76/2 TDs). BUT - I see that SF WR R. Pearsall is back from injury, and he was "on fire" the first three weeks of the season. He's at ARI. I also have JAX WR P. Washington, who has played well the past two weeks with B. Thomas Jr. banged up - PW is Home vs. LAC. And, I also have "the only NYG WR standing," W-Rob who is Home vs. GB. The G-Men are a mess this week, with firing their Head Coach, and this will be their QB3's first start (J. Winston), in .. forever. FWIW - a lot of peeps are down on Sutton, for various reasons. I could play two of the above, and bench Sutton. Oh - and I also have WAS RB "Bill" Croskey who I could FLEX, but it appears he lost the RB1 role last week to C-Rod. Thoughts?? Leave YOUR link, I reply!

FLEX: M. Wilson, R. Pearsall, P. Washington or W-Rob?
Bills04 replied to Bills04's topic in A Little Help!
Update: So .. JAX WR1 B. Thomas Jr. is now ruled OUT. Parker has been on fire the past two weeks, but goes up against a Top-2 defense against Wrs.. More stats Sutton – has scored Tds in each of the past four games vs. KC; last home game went 6/70/1; Pearsall – last away game @ Ari went 6/69/1; and W-Rob – last game vs. GB went 6/116; More thoughts Sutton – YTD, not the WR1 for DEN ..; Franklin leads in tgts, catches and Tds (not yards, though) Pearsall – his first game back, and also QB Purdy's ..; temper expectations? W-Rob – GB's pass rush is scary ..; and has a good DC – could keep Lbs in the intermediate zone to cut down on passing lanes for him ..; also, NYG's Tes are bigger / safer targets, in that area; also, he has minimal “upside” Oh – Weepaws: I have Pearsall in an IR slot. -
Full-point PPR. McBride is on a BYE week. MIA TE D. Waller .. strained his t!t. Will likely need to grab a TE off the WW. What's available, and the match-ups - lower totals are better: Rnkgs Total MIN TJ Hockenson borderline TE1/2 @ LAC 19 / 22 41 NYG TE T. Johnson usable streamer @ PHI 7 / 30 41 LAC TE O. Gadsden II an ascending TE1 H, MIN 20 / 21 37 NYJ TE M. Taylor QB T. Taylor would be a boon for him @ CIN 30 / 1 31 PIT P. Freiermuth not enough passing volume.. H, GB 1 / 2 3 CIN N. Fant not enough passing volume.. H, NYJ 21 / 7 28 Hey LA peeps - why is Gadsden blowing up, with the three good WRs on that roster?? Is he worth a flier on? Also: Freiermuth SCREAMS like a ceiling week Thing is - PIT has TWO other TEs that are also good.. Who are YOUR top-2 to file a claim for?
-
Ugh .. another week with slim pickings on the waiver-wire.. SEA KCR paid off, but I'll roll with DAL KCR for the rest of the season, now that his BYE week is over. So, dropping SEA KCR for one of the following: 1) PIT DEF (Home, vs CIN); 2) GB DEF (@ NYG); 3) TB RB3 S. Tucker (played well last week); or 4) LVR WR T. Lockett (lead team last week). I don't like DEN DEF at home vs. KC off of a BYE week, so prioritizing getting a second DEF with a good matchup. What is everyone else doin'?
-
Addition: Oooooo! I saw ARI WR1 MH Jr. had an appendectomy. Gonna try and get WR2 M. Wilson (WR3 Z. Jones is ALSO OUT!). Weill drop KC RB4 B. Smith to get him.

A .. media outfit in NY likes CLE HC K. Stafanski - assuming he's let go on Black Monday: SNY’s Connor Hughes believes Browns HC Kevin Stefanski is “a name to watch” for the Giants head coaching vacancy. Stefanski certainly couldn’t be blamed for wanting to exit Cleveland after another season spent coordinating a dead-on-arrival offense hamstrung by Deshaun Watson’s contract. Especially after he didn’t appear to be on Andrew Berry’s page about giving up Joe Flacco to the Bengals in a midseason trade. As we hit silly season, Stefanski’s status will be one of the more important dominoes to watch. Hughes also mentions as names to watch for the job: Packers DC Jeff Hafley, Rams OC Mike LaFleur, Eagles OC Kevin Patullo (??), Chiefs DC Steve Spagnuolo, Vikings DC Brian Flores, Former Raiders HC Antonio Pierce, and Texans DC Matt Burke. Hmmmm - I like Stefanski, and Burke.
-
Oooooo! USA Today has an interesting Contributor article, suggesting Bill Belichick! If there was a reason that Belichick’s buyout with his North Carolina contract was just $1 million – which screams of a keep-my-options-open exit door – this is it. Belichick didn’t wait to get rejected again by NFL teams during the last hiring cycle before bolting to the college ranks. Back then, though, the NYG job wasn’t open. Now it is.

I didn't even make it to halftime.. The field conditions and PHI players slipping. The ridiculousness of offensive offsides NEVER being called. And, BTW, I noticed that A LOT, recently. In real-time, not even the replays. HORRENDOUS officiating this season.
