    Monday Night RB Matchup

I agree with this but if the wind kicks up it might force his hand and the Bears run D is brutal!

    Brian Westbrook

I got burned by him in 2008 but maybe a year and a half off will make him fresh for the stretch run especially if that other post is true about Gore being done for the season. In 2008 he would tantalize you with a few good games and then have awful games mostly due to nagging injuries when you needed him the most (playoffs). I think I might try to pick him up off the WW especially since AP is also injured.

    Brian Westbrook

Because of his recent past I doubt that Westbrook will remain healthy if Gore is out for any extended period of time.

    Da Bears

This is actually a great sign for Akers owners. I hope they keep it up!
  5. You have good choices. I like Wallace 1st and consider Maclin, VJax and Williams to be about even. I might go with the crowd and go with VJax only because of Rivers but it is tough to bench the other two.

    WR Trade

No way - those guys have been too hot right now to bench. Ever since TO had that 200 yard I have been expecting his demise and it hasn't happened. I wouldn't worry too much about 1 bad game because he is still the #1 WR in Cinci but I can see trading him for Fitz who has been unremarkable this season but at least consistently getting decent fantasy points of late. Obviously the main thing holding him back from being a top wr is the QB play in Arizona which unfortunately for you won't improve this season.

    Matt Forte

He was on my bench this week too. I decided to play Dez Bryant at flex over him. I should have known that he would go off because I also had him on my bench when he went off against Carolina.

Does Torain have any value left

I am with you 100% on this one. I doubt he is going to have any value but there is currently no one out there that I like better.

Who's rollin' with Ben this week

I am leaning towards rolling with Ben but Flacco also has a good matchup against the Pats secondary.

    Who's Getting...

As for Bowe - I wouldn't consider dropping him until after this week's game. If the Chiefs can't get their passing game going against the Texans then they are beyond pathetic. If this isn't what the doctor ordered and they don't get it turned around this week than Bowe.

Expectations for Big Ben upon is return

That is good insight - I never connected the dots between the injury of Troy and Roth's production. I hope you are wrong because I drafted Ben in the 11th round and assumed he was a steal. I have Flacco and an injured Vick so I have been anxiously awaiting his return.

    Best buy low players

People that drafted Charles high are worried about the time share with TJ. He is not getting a lot of touches to this point and you might be able to offer someone that has soured on him a little or is struggling. I would offer someone that is producing or is a workhorse (ie Forte, Benson, Addai). Unfortunately many of the RBs that I would have tried to lure him for are now injured (Thomas, McFadden). I am a Charles owner myself and think he will greatly outperform these players. I must admit to being a Benson hater and don't think he will put together 2 good seasons in a row.

    Best buy low players

I love Ray Rice as a buy low candidate. The Ravens schedule has been brutal and I expect their offense to starting picking it up and expect Rice to be a top 5 back the rest of the season. Jamaal Charles is the other player that I love as a buy low player. I think his production is going to increase in the coming weeks and his talent will win out big time over TJ.

    Week 5 DST Matchups

LOL - I don't even consider the Lions the top D to play in this game. The Rams have had a top 10 D all year and could be a sneaky play. The Lions give up too many yards/points and are prone to making boneheaded mistakes. I think the talent on the Lions D is vastly improved but you never know when they are going to start to gel and the Rams look surprisingly good on offense. That's my $.02.
  15. I think he still plans to implement the tax cuts/increases that he campaigned on but it will be at least a year before he does so and will depend on how the economy looks at that time. It is too early to really make any determinations as to how Obama will govern but I am encouraged that he will govern towards the center by some of his cabinet choices.

Rolling Stones Censor Songs for Clintons

I think it is stupid too but I was attempting to replace the word devil with Hillary since they can be used synonymously.

I thought the changed the title of the song to "Sympathy for the Hillary"

Did I make the right moves?

Thanks for answering mine. I think you did great. 1. Dropped Porter for James Jones (should I drop him for Turner) I have not heard the extent of Driver's injury but Jones could be a big pick up. If Driver is okay I would definitely pick up Turner. 2. Traded Jacobs for Steve Smith That was a great trade for you. As long as Smith stays healthy you got a top 3 receiver. 3. Traded Clayton/Curtis for DWill/Cotchery I actually like this because D Will could be the starter and the other guys were going to ride your bench most of the season. When all is said and done Cotchery could put up better numbers than both Clayton and Curtis. Good Luck!
  19. I am loaded at WR but thin at RB besides LJ & Thomas Jones. I already have Chester Taylor on my roster and I was offered Adrian Peterson. I am leaning towards pulling the trigger on this one but I worry about Minnesota's offense being awful with Jackson at QB. Thanks in advance for your help. If you leave a link I will gladly answer yours. BTW - The scoring system for both RB & WR is: 1 PT for 10 Yards 6 PTs for TDs 2 PTs for 2 point conversion -2 Fumbles.

I am very sorry master that I did not know the rules. I will definitely take your advice and make the trade. Thanks you oh wise one.
  21. ANything at this point is pure speculation. I think Jackson & Moss have a better chance of putting up big numbers but I am worried about both of them after reading how badly Jackson has performed so far and that the Patriots are not happy with Moss. I don't know if this is only to light a fire under him but the Pats probably don't want to have him around if he is a cancer in the locker room. Lendale White is also tough to gauge at this point. Burress is the most consistent player of this bunch which is kind of a sad commentary. I think he should have a decent season if he stays healthy. Good Luck! Hr 499 for A.Rod

That's what they said and it was supposed to be according to the official stat keepers of MLB (Elias?). If ARod hits a home run in the suspended game the HR would count for the June game and would be listed as whatever number it would have been when they show his list of HRs. A suspended game is treated differently than a rain out. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=270725107 FROM ESPN • Weird but true: If A-Rod homers Friday in Baltimore, in the resumed game that was suspended on June 28th, Wednesday's HR would become his 500th (the HR in the suspended game would be No. 493).

    Hr 499 for A.Rod

There was an interesting piece this morning on one of the ESPN shows that said this could actually have been #500 from ARod if he hits a home run in the suspended game from June that they are making up tomorrow night since those stats count towards June. Imagine thinking you are catching his 500th HR and think you have a ball that collectors might want only to find that it is not worth much. I have always thought that spending an absurd amount of money on a baseball is stupid.
