First Thing: Raiders trade Jerry Porter and their 3rd Round Pick to Atlanta for Matt Schaub. Reason: Atlanta gets their talented WR and Oakland gets their QB Second Thing: Raiders draft OT Joe Thomas with their 1st round pick and another linemen with their high 2nd round pick. Reason: Cures number one ailment which is the Raider O-line. Third Thing: Hire Steve Marriuci. Reason: Coach with Bay Area ties that relates well to players. Fourth Thing: Hire Dennis Green. Reason: Besides his classic blowup, his offense always seems to put up great numbers. Reunite with Moss.

Minny got Harrison, not Henderson and that trade is pretty much a wash. Moss had a good start last season and got injured, Williamson has been a bust and Henderson is good...IF he played in college. Bottom line comes down to 5 things the Raiders need to address and if 3 actually turn out to be succesful you will see a good Defense inspired to play great next season. 1. Quarterback 2. A Solid Lineman 3. Head Coach 4. Offensive Coordinator I dont think its too far fetched to for these things to be accomplished.

The consideration is having a safe option in Jennings or having the potential of Chambers blowing up. My other two wideouts are Holt and Lee Evans therefore putting a risk/reward guy as a my number 3 is an option.

I'm starting Favre vs Detroit over Romo. D is a lot more worse against the pass than the ATL.

Ok so I'm wondering what everyones opinion is on snowy conditions affecting the passing game. For example, the browns pitt game tonite should have plenty of snow so it can give me an idea but thinking back on past snowbowl games, how much does it affect a QB's performance?? Earlier in the season I traded for Favre due to his Week 15 matchup (first round of playoff games) at home vs Detroit. Luckily later on in the season I had the good fortune of picking up Tony Romo who has been quite succesful. I still have my eyes set on starting Favre in my fantasy playoffs but the thoughts of starting Romo instead on the road in an indoor stadium at Atlanta has entered my mind. Ofcourse, I'm assuming it will be snowing heavily in Green Bay December 17th which is why benching Favre for Romo is a thought. Interesting enough, looking back at the past two seasons when GB has played Detroit in GB in December, the scores have been relatively low (16-13 both games) with Favre not playing well. Still Detroits less than poor pass D is hard to pass up on.

Based on today, Romo looks pretty inconsistent. Favre on the other hand looks like an enticing option vs Detroit.

I agree that I'm in a lucky situation with my QB's but still I'm a bit concerned about DeAngelo Hall shutting down T.O. Last year they played and Hall held him to no TD's plust ATL's D has been injured. If Ed Hartwell and John Abraham return and with ATL's desperation for a playoff seed, I can see their D stepping it up.

Ok since I have no one on my roster I can drop for Stover, I"m considering dropping Wilkins for Stover. My reasons are a)schedule Stover: at Cincy, at KC, Cleveland, at Pitt Wilkins: Ari, Chicago, at Oak, Washington The last two matchups are my playoff weeks and it is so crucial for me to get out of Week 15. I feel the RAiders D at home can limit St. Louis, especially since the Rams have been struggling without Orlando Pace. Also the Week 14 Chicago matchup doesn't bode too well for Wilkins while Stover has four D's left that give up major points. b)recent performance The Rams have been struggling lately and eventhough Wilkins has more total points than Stover for the year (108 vs 96), Baltimore has been performing great offensively since Fassel was fired and Billick took over. AM I OVER THINKING THIS OR WHAT? I KNOW ITS JUST A KICKER BUT STILL LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

This is true dome kicker has an advantage but the Week 15 matchup isn't in "sunny" california i live in the bay area and its raining right now.
