Well I'm sorry, I'm used to seeing a real team on the field every Sunday. The Pats kicked the a$$ of the Cowboys who also only has one loss in the NFC. Remember this is the NFC we're talking about.

Indy tried to send the whole team after him. It didn't work. The Pat's just whipped out the draws and screens. In addition the Indy defense was totally gassed by the 4th quarter. I don't see any other team with the defensive stamina to make it work all game.

I agree, saying that he "misinterpreted the rule" would be bad. However, he would he been on valid ground had he said that he had his own interpretation of that rule. That would have meant that he would have understood the rule and made perfectly valid suppositions based on that rule. Anyway, I don't see this as any big deal. Offering $500 for a tackle or crap like that is nothing to these guys. It's not like other teams aren't doing stuff like this. I say simple whack Green Bays first round draft pick for violating the rule and fine the team and coach $500,000. That's no big deal.

I agree that he didn't tank his game. On things like this you really need to establish a pattern of offenses. If he continues to not send in his lineup then he's not invited back. But one game, so what. If you have a rule that states explicitly that all bye weeks must be covered if a player of that position is available on your roster then yeah he would be in violation. I didn't see that rule so just slap him for being a dweeb and move on.
