We don't know this just yet. Everybody is going to hide their spies for awhile. I say by week 4 they'll start sneaking them back out.
-
Warned everybody, you mean.
-
It is what it is. (We need a Parcells smiley.) If the Pat's didn't do it they would be at a disadvantage.
-
I am predicting a fourth rounder.

My opinion about steroids is to either allow everyone to do it or have the players take a piss test. Bonds' record has a fat asterisk next to it because he had an unfair advantage over players that didn't take steroids. There's a major difference in the number of baseball players compared to NFL teams. Stealing signals has been around since signals were brought into the game. My opinion is that every team does it to some degree. There no piss test for it. So to say that the Patriots derived any unfair advantage from it is nieve. Every team is involved to some degree. It's an even playing field.

I think that it is pretty obvious that I am a Pat's homer here. I am not going to back out of what they did. They did it. I will say that every team does it. That is why every team received the message to cut the crap from Goddell. I think that the NFL sent scouts to every game. The Pat's were the ones to get nailed. It does suck coming off of Harrison's HGH suspension. However, once again you are rather nieve to think that the Pat's were the only ones doing it. The Pat's effed up, now they will take their medicine. Hopefully Bill will think of a more devious way to steal the signals. To be honest, the rule is stupid. Those signals are given in plain sight. They aren't being given behind the replay official's little magic curtain or a priest's confessional. Teams should just take more effective counter measures if they want to hide their signals.

Rex Grossman is so bad... He throws interceptions running onto the field during the intro! Feel free to add on.
-
Today the NFL rules committee has ruled that yes a ball thrown to an opposing team in another game in another stadium in another state across the country is indeed an interception. The intercepting player can return it for a touchdown. It will be called the F--k Rule (The shortened form of Why The ###### do we have Rex starting rule.)

It's the real opening day today. In celebration I have two more... Rex Grossman is so bad his momma gives him HGH just so he can suit up before the big game. ... Rex Grossman is so bad when his momma asked him to get a stick of butter from the store he came back with a loaf of bread and fumbled the hand off. Almost freakin time... Woot!

So on New Orleans bye week you start... ok...
-
My reasoning was that New Orleans was set up for a major loss. Indianapolis was going to be jacked going into the game. Indy was going out to prove that they were truly the defending superbowl champions. I didn't feel confident with this game being played in Indy either. I looked at Pittsburgh's match up against Cleveland. Cleveland's D is down at the bottom with Indy, plus Cleveland is projected to give up more passing yards than Indy. So I made the switch. Right now it looks like I made the right decision. I think that Ben will get me more than 3 points. Hopefully the football gods will prove me correct.

Thank God I listened to that little voice in my head that said start Big Ben this week over Brees. I'm not jumping off a cliff yet. I saw some flashes of great stuff from NO, unfortunately they were overcome with bad luck. I knew when they did not try for a field goal at the end of the half that it was over.

Last night I was more concerned about Maroney being able to take hits and run, not so much on performance. He just took the red shirt off and it was his first real football in a while. I was happy with what I saw. Maroney showed some pop. He's rusty though so do not read too much into performance. As for Sammy Morris he is going to be a good compliment to Maroney. I don't foresee any RBBC, Maroney is the go to man. It is a relief that Sammy is going to be a good third down back coming off the bench. I am happy with the offense so far. I think that we got our first glimpse of what we'll see all year. Solid ball control eating up that clock. Keeping the defense on the field to wear them down. Stallworth and Moss won't be needed to win games, they will be dangerous receivers just waiting to exploit an opening. If all this holds true, it will be a great year.

I know one thing. If I flushed $150 Million down the toilet for being a tard my father would have kicked my ass.

Hey Patriots Defense owners. WEEI is reporting that a deal might be in the striking and Asaunte could be in camp next week. I will look for a link. Also Laurence Maroney is expected to suit in the next preseason game against the Carolina Panthers. Randy Moss is not expected to play. Brady may not play either due to his baby being born.

Definitely Brees here. You still have your round 1 pick for a solid RB. Round 2 is RB. Your round 3 pick is huge here for a top wideout. Brees is going to put up good numbers this year. All your picks shift up a round all the way down to 10.

Belichick is playing safe. Its the stupid preseason. He is not going to risk anything stupid happening. Randy was doing very well in training camp. He'll be in when it counts. He's going to have a decent season. I think that the prediction of 1200 12 TDs is a good guess. Randy does have something to prove. It will keep him honest.

What? Baseball game... That was the Rangers and Orioles?
-
Let's hope he don't pass the baby to Reche ... oh...... "Reche just missed that one! He wishes he had that one back!"
-
I'm not saying that Belichek won't use the running game. I'm sure that if he has a good matchup he'll use it. He hasn't shied away by any means. I've been watching the pre-season games. Heath Evans and Sammy Morris have been doing a decent job. However, this year the Patriots went out and seriously amped up the passing game. They are going to use it.
-
I'm Pat's homer and I would love for Maroney to have a breakout year, but his injury situation is foggy. This may be intentional but we'll have to see what Maroney does if he plays a pre-season game or game 1. In addition, Brady has a ton of new weapons. The use of the running game will be used more to keep the defense honest. As for Indy I think that are not the same team as last year. They were picked apart by free-agency. I see Peyton trying to get more out of the tools that he does have. That's good for Addai. So I would give the edge to Addai if given a choice.

It's an upstate NY term.

What you guys are forgetting is that Pete "Don't Rock the Boat" Taglibue is no longer commissioner. Goodell is playing it safe for the time being, but he is just biding his time. He just wanted to make sure he had all his ducks in a row and a Vick confession. Vick will not play another down. This whole America has a short memory is overstated. Goodell has the future marketability of NFL as his prime concern. He is not going to waste that capital on Vick. Honestly I think that the appetite for Vick by other owners is also overstated. Vick was an average passer at best. There some nice rookies coming to the league. If Vick were to come back the earliest would be in 2 years. Vick will be 2 years out of the league, a felon, with a ton of baggage. Who wants that. Those rookies coming in now will have 2 years under their belt. That will cause some organizational moves freeing up either the rookies or the veterans. Vick is gone. Watch for his rap show on MTV. Even further if Vick does play, he better pray to a forgiving God that he has a balls out offensive line because the DBs will be looking to take his head off. All this is provided that he doesn't get shivved in prison.
