15 out of 10 stars. No words. Just an awesome memorable experience. Of course there was no one checking permits today Sad that I’m going back, I’d go back and do it tomorrow if I could. The chain section actually wasn’t too bad to be honest. More mentally tough than physical. The views up top are just to die for.

Ended up not doing BC BUT I took the Angels Landing trail all the way up to Scouts Lookout. And beyond. You can walk another mile or so to the left up higher and get EPIC views. You’re actually higher than Angels Landing at some points up there. Just an incredible incredible experience. But damn that is definitely a workout. Almost 2,000 feet of elevation gain in 2 miles. I was on the trail shortly after 7 and glad that I was cuz the sun hadn’t came out yet and there was a nice breeze. Certainly helped. And I got accepted for Angels Landing tomorrow! So looks like I’m hoofing it again in the AM. This was the main goal when I came out here so I’ve gotta do it. Then when I get done it’s back to Vegas after for my Saturday AM flight

Update!@# Just got done at Zion for today. Was here for about 4 hours. Didn’t get accepted for angels landing so I’ll try again tomorrow. The park is incredible either way, I walked prolly 8 miles or so and rode the shuttle some too so basically saw the whole park. I will be getting here very early tomorrow to try and beat the crowds and the heat. It’s currently hovering right around 100 degrees at 1 in the afternoon. Gonna spend a few hours here again in the morning and then swing over to Bryce Canyon after.
