I wonder how illegals prove they are who they say they are in order to get a licence.

That's just part of the deal when we pushed him out. We obviously agreed to celebrate him as a hero. That was even the SW download for awhile before we realized we couldn't keep up that charade.

It doesn't matter. She'll win on abortion alone which is unfortunate for Trump because there is no way he gives a shìt about abortion and likely has paid for his fair share.

Probably about $80k for me. Looking forward to losing another $50k or so tomorrow.

Take this report on Pearsall. They're basically screaming that he sucks https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.49erswebzone.com/news/amp-182393/ Think about if your kid was playing sports and wasn't very good. This is the same type of stuff you'd say. I just love the way he works. We just need to perfect the craft. He's coachable. He just needs to learn.

I've been reading mixed results on Pearsall. The bulk is good, but any criticism at this time of year carries a lot of weight with me. First thing is Pearsall had a hamstring injury that's kept him off the field some. With Aiyuk holding in though, Pearsall has been running with the 1s some, and I've read that some days he has good days, and I've read a plenty blunt assessment saying he can't get separation. Training camp is "damning with faint praise" season, though. If you hear someone described as "solid" they suck. "He has some things to work on/learn" means they suck. So when someone comes out and says the guy is just bad, it's quite worrisome. Although it was just one guy and maybe he just doesn't like Pearsall. I'm skeptical unless coaches or teammates are just absolutely gushing or there's just a constant drumbeat of good reports, then the guy is probably just a JAG.

If this crash was related to AI, why would all the proctor and Gambles and Kimberly Clarks be getting annihilated. No, I think this is something more systemic.

I can vouch that he used to be conservative. The same chick that turned him into a cat lady turned him into a lefty. -
It appears Wall Street believes we're screwed.

So we may be experiencing a disruptive technology in the form of AI. Enterprise SW companies have reported slow downs in subscriptions as large companies assess manpower needs vs AI. Similar to when blockchain first came out, everything associated with AI is going bonkers. Apple just announced new AI features being available on the next iPhones and they're up 10% in two days Oracle who is making AI data centers reported results and demand is through the roof. And of course NVDA who makes the premier AI processors selling for 40k a pop are threatening to become the biggest company in the world by market cap. I certainly think this is a buy the picks and shovels suppliers (NVDA ARM) since who knows how effective this is really going to be in the long run, but signs point to a lot of money to be made on this front for the next few years and if this is a truly disruptive technology like the Internet, the cell phone, or the horseless carriage, there's generational wealth to be made. Think Google when it ipo'ed.. companies are going to start springing up all over the place. it'll cause a rash of startups and a lot will be trash and it'll cause a bubble, but we're probably about to go for a ride either way.

I don’t understand cryptocurrency, bitcoin

People do cite Bitcoin's potential as a hedge against inflation, but so far, it hasn't behaved as a hedge against inflation. It's behaved more like a speculative tech stock. -

That article kind of sucks, but I'll try to explain it. "Bitcoin (abbreviation: BTC; sign: â‚¿) is the first decentralized cryptocurrency." Two key things here. Cryptocurrency and decentralized. Cryptocurrency simply refers to a digital token that is used on a specific network that is governed by some sort of cryptographic algorithm. Decentralized is important here because that is one of the things kids love about cryptocurrency. There is a belief that the government manipulates currency through things like inflation in order to keep them poor. I'd argue that we're trading one governing body for another since the mining conglomerates are going to basically set economic policy at some point. "Nodes in the peer-to-peer bitcoin network verify transactions through cryptography and record them in a public distributed ledger, called a blockchain, without central oversight." It's just saying that individual users of the network process transactions and the transactions are recorded forever on the Blockchain. That doesn't mean they have your name and address or anything just that x amount went from one wallet address to another. "Consensus between nodes is achieved using a computationally intensive process based on proof of work, called mining, that guarantees the security of the bitcoin blockchain." They're trying to say how they validate a transaction is legit. And that is done when the individual computers (miners or nodes) solve cryptographic problems and those are confirmed by other independent computers. Proof of work is an important concept in Bitcoin and would require it's own treatment, but the gist is a computer (or miner or node) proves that they solved the cryptographic problem allowing the transaction to be added to the never ending public ledger and then they get rewarded for it. It essentially is how transactions are processed. It's also a major drawback to Bitcoin in some ways since it's slow and energy intensive. The time to do these problems are partially why companies like AMD and NVDA have been blowing up for the last few years. They have the most powerful processors and the most powerful processors get the answer faster which gets the reward. The energy thing is why you hear about mining farms sprouting up around cheap energy. Other cryptos use different proof methods like etherium which uses proof of stake. -

Cryptocurrency is really just the medium of exchange used on a specific cryptographic block chain. Bitcoin for instance uses the Bitcoin blockchain as a means to exchange funds. Now if the Bitcoin blockchain were able to process transactions faster and cheaper than let's say credit cards, then the natural outcome would be that most transactions would be done in Bitcoin. So the value of a specific cryptocurrency is correlated to the underlying value of the Blockchain on which it operates... And of course the usual factors such as supply and demand of a particular token. -
The more I watch these idiots, the more I think I would be a better president than either of these clowns. Problem is I'm ugly and I don't pander which essentially disqualifies me from any popularity contest.

Inflation is going to be a tough one for Kamala. She can't very well go to the usual playbook and promise people free money and then claim she's fighting inflation, but she can beat on tariffs. What she should do is lie and say she will do three things: (because people love things in threes) My administration will review all trade deals and we will work with our trade partners to have fair and equitable agreements that will help lower prices for all Americans. then you have some staffer go pull a clause or two from various trade deals that you can say you want to update Second, instead of straining our relationships with allies through tariffs that will raise the cost of common goods that every American needs, we will work to ensure our supply chains run smoothly by investing in American ports and transportation because when we can't get the critical goods that American households want because Donald Trump allowed our infrastructure to crumble, that raises costs for everyone! Third, my administration will empower the federal reserve to make the decisions necessary to ease rising costs unlike Donald Trump who will pressure the fed into doing what's best for wall street instead of main street! It's all BS and she won't do anything, but people will absolutely love it if she just lies to them.

Sydney Sweeney once again proves it impossible to be gay

I was watching a movie called "anyone but you" or something like that, and I was thinking, "how did this woman get a lead in this movie. She has no personality or charm." Then they had a scene where she was in a bikini, and I was like, "oh, now I get it" I didn't realize it was Ms. Sweeney until the end of the movie.
