Agreed, but if we go after them all, don't we have to start with one? That's going to be hard if every time someone floats the idea, someone says, "but everyone is corrupt!"
-
So is the solution do nothing since everyone is doing it or start going after people one by one? It seems like you're saying to ignore it since everyone is corrupt.

And Trump isn't that great on policy. His immigration policy is good, and I like how he's against us getting bent over in trade deals which makes him better than most, but I don't think people realize yet that he kind of fūcked us on taxes coming up in 2025. He set it up back when he was president to hit after he thought he'd be leaving office.

Lol... He took fake money. And gave up their businesses like all these career politicians had real businesses. "He pulls a blue lever. Must protect blue lever puller."

I've heard two places talking about how if the Rams play the lions on the 1st round of the playoffs, lookout because Stafford is going to be on his A game against his old team. I felt bad for Goff. Apparently, he's just a bìtch and will wither under the emotional toll of playing his old team. And that's on top of the fact that Goff was shoved out the door by the Rams while Stafford wanted to be traded. So I'm hoping week 18 gives us that matchup round 1.

USC players fire indirect shots at Caleb Williams by shouting “We a team now!” after upsetting Louisville under Miller Moss’ leadership

If the bears stick with fields, they'll trade the pick to a QB needy team. -
Blue lever monkey gets elected. Red lever monkeys pull the red lever saying blue lever monkey stole bananas The electorate falls all over themselves defending blue lever monkey instead of just installing the next blue lever monkey. That's what these discussions always remind me of.

Preach. There's a never ending line of pelosies and desantises and trumps. We'd be doing ourselves a huge favor by holding them accountable for their actions. But everyone is so worried about protecting their team. Biden, Pelosi, and Desantis types are especially a dime-a-dozen. Trump is a bit of a breed of his own, but it's not like he's irreplaceable. Everyone thinks if we lose the current politician, the policies will change. They won't. The areas will just elect the next guy or gal who have the exact same ideals. Hell you could train a monkey to pull a blue or red lever and elect it, and we'd probably get the same results.

Alex Left or whatever his name is is the worst. What he did to Ubiquiti should've put him in jail.

She certainly wasn't helping the cause in the fight. He could've just hung out behind her until the police came. -

Has there been any school that churns out all-pro QBs? -

I liked Nabers. He needed 22 yards to be the LSU career leader and the announcers were gushing about how he had such dedication. Dude got 23 yards in the first quarter and we never saw him again. -

By the way, this was right after the defense recovered a game sealing fumble and the defense was celebrating. It's far more likely, the defense was giving a receiver a hard time for running over to celebrate with them, and he responded to that with the "we a team now" thing, and he also said "we a team though" -

I guess we know if the bears draft Williams he's probably not great since they only draft bad QBs. -

Damn. The two dumbest guys on the board disagree. When it was just seafoam, I thought it was a good sign Caleb would love up to the hype -

Is there any tangible evidence this was in reference to Caleb Williams? -
I see you're still in the stage where you need people to validate you by trumpeting wins. I suppose you'll eventually learn that there isn't much upside to that. Just quietly accumulating wealth is the best play. For one, unless you're a rapper, you don't want people to know you have money, and second, you probably don't want to be in a situation where someone is blaming you for losing money.

Saturday Discussion: Lions at Cowboys - Wk17
nobody replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
This is bad spot for Detroit. They just won the division and everyone is telling them how great they are. They also celebrated too much. It's usually a bad sign when a team celebrates like the did something the week prior. They don't really have much to play for. I know they can theoretically get the 1 seed, but given Philly's last two games are against Arizona and the giants, they likely know they're not getting it. Meanwhile everyone is telling Dallas how bad they are. The Micah Parsons not getting holding calls is getting a lot of attention, so the refs will have to call it to keep themselves out of the spotlight. Dallas at home is better than on the road, a d Tyrone Smith is back. Only thing going on Detroit's favor is that Dallas is pretty much locked into that 5 seed, so they shouldn't have much to play for. Detroit usually only plays at one speed too. All-in-all this should be a Dallas cover. The biggest factor should be complacency on the lions part due to the pats on the back all week. -
Maine’s top election official removes Trump from 2024 primary ballot
nobody replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
As a magatard, I'd love to see Trump not be involved 2024. I like his immigration policy, and I think he's okay for the economy, but not as good as everyone thinks. He's too focused on short term wins. -
I remember trying to explain that to someone maybe 8 years ago when they were grading nba front offices on diversity. People think diversity means no white males. Unfortunately, when the wokesters realized they weren't diverse at all, they started clamoring to hire the lgtqa folk to fill the diversity quotas.

Hopefully the Republicans can put forth a candidate the Maine Secretary of State approves. -
I was eating papa johns when they were doing the "better ingredients" thing and it was pretty good. Then they fired the CEO, and I just remember it tasting terrible.

This dude thinks propaganda didn't exist in 1865? Like billy bob from Arkansas would've been concerned about the domino theory and clamoring to go fight in Korea and vietnam if the government didn't tell them to be worried about it. Or cletus from Florida would've been worried about wmds if W didn't lie about them being in Iraq. Fūck half the country would've been cool with forcing unvaccinated people into camps because the government said covid was going to kill everyone.. Which they'll deny now. The confederates just needed to say the north wants to give your stuff to black people, and southerners would lined up to fight. Shìt they could say that today, and a lot of posters here would be ready to enlist.
-
I remember getting into this 20 years ago. The articles of succession literally say they are seceding over the right to own slaves. Call it states rights if you want, but it's a distinction without a difference. It was for the southern state's right to own slaves. The north didn't care about slavery for the most part as much as it was to keep the south from seceding (which the south had every right to do).
