    TNF Discussion: Giants at 49ers - Wk3

I don't understand how McCaffery gets the ball and always seems to have some space, but Mitchell has to dodge a defender the second he gets his hands on the ball. You'd think McCaffery would have defenders following him everywhere.

Buy Low / Sell High Week 3

I'd be selling Garrett Wilson and George Pickens. Both of them are great, but their situations both suck, and they've both been saved with TDs.

    Christian Watson - Hamstring Injury

I don't know if he's out, but hamstrings are tricky. I'd assume he's out until he gets a practice in.

    Goff fake

The qbs actually play in skirts now. Really changes the complexion of the game.
  5. If you really want to see an example of the NFL being fixed, I present to you the Steelers vs Chargers 2008. I watched live at the time and there were BS calls going against the Steelers the entire game. Only for the coup de grace being the complete BS ending where the refs simply made up a ruling to make sure the Steelers didn't cover when Polamalu took the chargers fumble for a TD as time expired.
  6. You guys get so caught up in the moment. Hell Houston was down 11 with 1 second to play and they ran a pass play in which Stroud got sacked. No one is roasting Houston. Carolina was down 14 with 14 seconds left in week 1. They were still having Bryce Young drop back. Pitt is down 23 with a minute left and dropping Pickett back. Again. It is not uncommon for teams to still try to score even when they can't win. And it's not the only reason to kick the FG. They might've just wanted to make the score look closer than it was. The kicker may have incentives that they wanted to allow him go for. Stop reading the twitteratti conspiracy theories.
  7. So what would you have had the Rams do? Just kneel?
  8. I'd say it's pretty noteworthy that X would become subscription based. I think a lot of people wouldn't use it anymore. I know I wouldn't.

MNF Discussion: Browns at Steelers - Wk2

That challenge was almost as bad as Gepetto's understanding of when the offense can advance a fumble.

MNF Discussion: Browns at Steelers - Wk2

Browns shouldn't be scared to throw past the sticks here. Pittsburgh having an extra timeout isn't going to mean anything and a first wins the game.

MNF Discussion: Browns at Steelers - Wk2

I mean I'm being pranked right? I say the offense (other than the fumbler) can't advance a fumble on 4th down and after the 2 minute warning and a 2 point conversion. Guy says only fumbler can recover a fumble in endzone at any time. Rule says the offense (other than the fumbler) can't advance a fumble on 4th and after 2 minute warning. Guy somehow thinks that makes him right.

This is definitely America today. Guy doesn't know rule. Guy argues with guy who does know rule. Guy who doesn't know rule looks up rule and then says rule says something it doesn't say so he can still try and be right.

MNF Discussion: Browns at Steelers - Wk2

Allow me to translate A fumbled ball may be recovered and advanced by either team (except, after the two-minute warning in either half or 4th down, when the fumbler is the only offensive player allowed to advance the ball, otherwise the ball is ruled dead at the spot of fumble, except when it is recovered for a loss.) Normally a fumbled ball can be advance by either team. The exception to this rule is after the two minute warning or on 4th down. In that case, the fumbler is the only offensive player allowed to advance the ball. If another offensive player advances the ball, the ball is ruled dead at the spot of the fumble, unless the offense recovers it for a loss. English, bro. Do you read it?
