The Seahawks took $26M in dead cap to trade Russ. The broncos are giving him $85M to go away. When teams are paying a guy to go away, I don't think getting him for free is a bargain.

I managed to not watch any broncos games last year, but I don't know why many teams would want a guy two different teams paid to go away.

Second time it's tried to crack 70k. It'll likely crack it the third time. If the usual trends hold, it'll shoot up to $95k before taking a break. I predicted $80k earlier just eyeballing the chart, but since it's about to break out, I looked a little harder.

Yes, cdub is racist. But let's not pretend painting groups of people with a broad brush is a white racist thing. The whole concept of BLM is that the country and all the white devils in it don't care about black people. Hell, Lebron James said that black people are being hunted by the police because 9 unarmed black people died resisting arrest in a year. The thing that turns me off from the women's game is how they package it. It's not just women's basketball. For some reason the marketers always make the same mistake of thinking that in order to acknowledge women's strengths, they need to make the women seem like bad asses who can take on anybody because they're so badass. When they present it that way - men or women - people will find it less palatable. It's like when guys like Jordan Poole insist they're awesome. It's like, "dude, sit down." -

It's definitely better than it used to be. I gave a game of two a , and the level of play was markedly better than it used to be. 20 years ago there weren't enough good players to go around. And then out of this shallow field, 4 of the top 10 players ended up at Connecticut, so they would dominate and the rest of the good players would be spread out over Stanford, South Carolina, etc. That resulted in a product that wasn't very compelling. Yes ESPN kept telling us that UConn was amazing, but then I'd watch the game, and the opposing team had 2 players that didn't even belong on the court while UConn didn't play especially impressive and win by 30. At least now, there are enough good players to field enough teams to make it so if the number 1 team is playing the number 2 team, it isn't a blowout. -

To be clear $80k was just a prediction of a short term top.

Because I like to talk about investing and everytime I see a new tag I open the thread up and it's frozenbeernuts posting the eye looking emoji or some passive swipe at people who aren't in Bitcoin. If the point is really to laugh and say you told someone so, then okay. I wish I would've sold my Bitcoin and bought more ARM call options, but that's just me.

The street is anticipating 5 or 6 cuts over the next few years. I'm more in the camp of they'll make 2-3 cuts.

With rate cuts on the horizon, I'd expect there to be a nice runway. Speculation season is open again. $80k would make sense to me.
