There are probably some peer reviewed studies out there. One thing I learned through covid is there is a study out there saying anything you want. Then the game is just tearing down the study. Not that I care about ivermectin. -

Well the implication of that statement is that Bitcoin is a dollar replacement. Clearly the folks that drive the price of Bitcoin don't see it that way.

I'm just saying that it would probably be a good idea to understand what makes your asset's price fluctuate. And right now, inflation is bitcoin's enemy, and not it's friend. This is clearly evident over the last inflationary period. I suspect the reason is that the people who drive the price of Bitcoin are speculators. And that means they are banking on Bitcoin being the backbone of some sort of cryptocurrency ecosystem sometime in the future. It's not because they see Bitcoin as an inflation hedge.

Is the point of bitcoin scarcity relative to the printable dollar, that bitcoin is immune to inflation? Because we just had an inflationary period and bitcoin dropped like a stone. And it only came back when inflation started ebbing.

And Trump isn't that great on policy. His immigration policy is good, and I like how he's against us getting bent over in trade deals which makes him better than most, but I don't think people realize yet that he kind of fūcked us on taxes coming up in 2025. He set it up back when he was president to hit after he thought he'd be leaving office.

I've heard two places talking about how if the Rams play the lions on the 1st round of the playoffs, lookout because Stafford is going to be on his A game against his old team. I felt bad for Goff. Apparently, he's just a bìtch and will wither under the emotional toll of playing his old team. And that's on top of the fact that Goff was shoved out the door by the Rams while Stafford wanted to be traded. So I'm hoping week 18 gives us that matchup round 1.
