He rode pretty hard for that other late night guy that got cancelled. Steve carrell or something like that.
-
ABC has every right to cancel him over what he said if they so choose. What I don't like is the FCC applying pressure to get him cancelled over BS.
-
Don't help, bro.
-
There goes every single politician. Maybe not a bad idea.
-
I assumed the ellipses were them talking about their favorite lube or something less relevant to the case.

My 15 minutes of research leads me to believe the FCC chairman, Brenden Carr, made some comments threatening to take action if the broadcasters didn't. He even suggested affiliates like Nextstar should preempt the programming. Seems like they didn't want any of that smoke from the FCC. I guess Kimmel wasn't worth the trouble. Then I thought to myself, "is this trump weaponizing the FCC against people he doesn't like?" Well Trump did appoint Carr. But Biden did also. Carr is a former lawyer and can probably handle himself against outside influence, but this seems draconian as fock.
-
Besides, if you don't like what people say, you're supposed to put a bullet through their jugular.
-
My understanding is that he said it was a maga that killed kirk and maga was trying to win political points from it. Stupid statement and not even a joke, but Kimmel is a show monkey that dances for money. I wonder why would anyone care what he says? Certainly doesn't warrant cancelling his show.
-
Well I'm saying it shouldn't have been big enough to warrant something. This is some Kim Jung Un sh¡t. I don't like it. I don't like it one bit.
-
Or say nothing, but I'd argue Kimmel isn't a news show, so getting the ideology of the shooter wrong isn't a big deal.
-
It is all that. Biscuits? best in the biz. Chicken? motherfocking #1. Sides? Can't be focking beat.
-
My understanding is Nexstar had 32 stations, and now per the WSJ, Disney apparently is suspending the show now too which I assume means all stations. I don't like Kimmel, but this seems excessive. But, hey, maybe he'll win an emmy now.

Seafoam of course has to ruin a good thing by tagging all of them. -
Nice pick, and solid advice!

NFL teams are so weird. Hunter renfrow cut presumably because the Panthers liked coker. Resign him and now he's second on the team in targets. And I get it. You wanted to keep jimmy horn as your slot guy/kick returner (who you had inactive week 2), but you also kept Bryce Tremaine to back up Xavier Legette. and both of them aren't as productive as renfrow. I guess this Brycen guy probably plays special teams and all that, but it just seems odd that you'd just cut someone that can be that productive.

I dropped Ollie Gordon and picked up Kyle Mongangai because I don't think Ben Johnson likes Swift.

I'm waiting for Mike FFtoday to get called in front of Congress.

Aligned with everything here, yes.

The meeting isn't weird at all to me. They see us all as useful idiots, and for the most part we oblige. They completely understand that controlling the narrative is important to keeping the mob in line. It also doesn't surprise me at all that entities would pay large sums of money to influence influencers into saying what they want.
-
If they came out and said they foresee cutting rates again this year, the market would go apeshìt. That was the question that was asked essentially... How will today's fed meeting effect the market in the short term... He just isn't familiar enough with investing to know what he's asking, so he tied it to the immediate rate cut which is already priced in. What your addressing is what might happen in reality. And I'll leave it up to you to predict what TACO is going to do with tariffs and I wish you luck on that.
-
0.25, but what matters is what they forecast for future cuts. The market already priced a 0.25 cut in so the only thing that moves the market from that perspective is if they deviate from that. But that would be a huge shock. Obviously market sores if they go 0.5. tanks of they're say nevermind and hold steady. What isn't fully baked in is future cuts. They never actually say what they're going to do but they craft carefully worded statements to indicate how dovish or hawkish they are. If they come out on the dovish side, market will go up. Hawkish... Down.

Guys, gutter just says stuff just to say stuff. Next he'll be telling everyone it's the last chance to get out of the stock market before it crashes while he sits on all his investments. He doesn't even believe what he posts.

I bet the wokies are going to hate she credited someone with a concealed carry for helping. -
I drafted AJ Brown in one league as my wr1 and I think he is going to be a problem all year. The eagles are what everyone said the chargers would be with harbaugh. They are run first, run second, and maybe even run third. Bottom 3 in pass attempts and averaging 114 passing yards per game so far. And they have no reason to change since it's working for them.

He'd be a fine DB starter.
