He's an example of the hard constraint that is a double standard. When we merged, with this cedar rapids group, they had the town halls and all of that and someone asked about fellowship criteria. They said it is strictly forbidden that a chief engineer can serve in that role and also be a fellow. Fast forward 10 months to fellowship announcements, somehow two CEs from the heritage cedar rapids good ole boys club were named fellows, and no one from my California branch. Clear double standard. I was sitting in the cafeteria by myself, and about 6 black chicks sit down all around me. I didn't say anything and they didn't say anything to me. After awhile one of them says, "Someone at this table should be feeling really uncomfortable." I looked around and then I looked at her, and I said, "who?" and we all laughed. I build focking bridges, baby!

My school was probably 80% black. I had a good friend in high school. He happened to be black. We used to hang out every god damned day. One day some group walks by and a guy yells, "Uncle Tom!!! How you doing Uncle Tom?" A week later he tells me that he can't hang out with me anymore because he's getting too much sh¡t for hanging out with a white dude. I wonder what ever happened to him. I know he went to Alcorn St. Loved Steve McNair.

By the way, if you want to talk about real bias. And I mean real bias. Bias against ugly people is the most prevalent.

I'm in a job right now where advancement will be tough because we have a female VP that appears to only want to promote and install women execs, and my department was merged with another heritage company in Cedar Rapids and they clearly have two sets of rules for them and us when it comes to obtaining fellowships (our version of tenure essentially) where we have to jump through 1000 hoops and have all kinds of constraints and guys on their side don't have the constraints. And this is actually the second cycle of this. When I first joined this department, the head was a woman that installed women in every leadership position. All the men who were good enough to get promoted hit the glass ceiling and left since in their words, "there is no place for me to go here." Every race has bias. Both genders have bias. I know you're racist at heart and think you have to agree with everything a minority says to safely hide it, but it's okay to just say the truth. Or maybe not since if people don't like what you say, you might get a bullet in the neck.

Oh here's a good one. Not 100% sure it was racially motivated, but looking back it probably was. I was the only white guy on my basketball team for a long time. After my first season, the coach sponsored a summer league team, and we had a bus and everything. Two other white dudes decided to show up. Well all of a sudden now the team wants to "haze" and me and the other two white guy were the targets of the hazing. we got off the bus at like 9pm at our school. I start walking toward the street and so does the other white guys when half the team comes flying around chasing us. They tackle me to the ground and pull my shorts off and break my walkman in the process (it was the 90s). I got pretty pissed, and they give me back my shorts and claim it was just hazing. I was the only guy that went back, and they were laughing how "only one came back." Never hazed anyone before or after my entire 4 years.

I had an incident where I was waiting in a car for someone shopping. After awhile I decided to go in so I was rolling up the windows. Some black guy that I didn't even see yells from across the parking lot, "yeah, you better roll up those windows white boy."

Not being allowed to play. Being frozen out when I am playing. Being told, "fūck you cracka!" After a hard foul.

A popular offensive concept against zone defenses is to occupy the zone on one side of the field and bring a crosser from the other side to take advantage of the vacated space. Defense can sometimes get caught slipping since they aren't expecting someone coming from that far. Downside is it takes awhile to get the crosser over there so you need to protect your qb. Miami ran this all the time in tyreek's first year with them (defenses caught on and Miami doesn't have a counter to their counters). The chargers did this in week 1 and week 2 on almost identical concepts and had McConkey all alone running free both times. Week 1 it would've been an easy 25 yard TD. The week 2 one, McConkey gets at least 40 yards and maybe scores from about 60. Both times, Herbert threw to the other side of the field for incompletions.

Chargers seem extremely well coached. They are just so disciplined on defense. Meanwhile the raiders get a delay of game after a -1 yard run. Not a 30 yard pass where the whole team needs to get down the field. They just needed to get up and call a play.

Also, if the injury is legit, remember my rule about announcing injuries early. For every day before the game, that's a week, so it would be about 6 weeks given they announced it 6 days before game day.

He was moving poorly, but I could have sworn he was scrambling late in the game. He's a really tough dude if he was running in a high ankle sprain. I do remember on one of their last possessions, he tried to scramble up through a lane and a DT tackled him a bit awkwardly. I thought at the time that I was surprised he just popped right up.

Tend to agree. High ankle sprain is like a six week injury. I don't think he'd be out there running around.

Nah, Trump wasn't going to shut down the country certainly not like whoever was running Biden did. And he wouldn't have weaponized public policy to take away peoples right to choose to get a jab. Your team wanted to do that. Two unforgivable mistakes. And it doesn't have to do with dei pilots, but it does disqualify your team from questioning who is in charge of HHS. Because having a dude smoking crack at his desk doing nothing is better than what your team did.
