Harvard & Trump Thread: Harvard PREVAILS in its lawsuit against the Trump administration
nobody replied to squistion's topic in The Geek Club
Okay, since we're so worried about the constitution in this matter... I know there are laws that must show the money was spent only on the research. The money must be allocated with fair bidding practices. Can we see the audits of the spending to make sure it wasn't wasted? Because we want to follow the laws right? I'm all about this. Let's follow the laws and watch everyone go to jail. -

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. I don't see how the Biden cabal not wanting to blow up the power brokers pulling their strings and trump not wanting to blow up the same power brokers influencing him means the AG is incompetent. Perhaps you can connect the dots for me. -

A wokie is lecturing me on good uses of money. You were cool with shutting down the economy over covid like a fool. We don't need your opinion on the economy. Not sure why you aren't too embarrassed to give it to be honest. -
Everyone thinks the Browns will be in the running for worst team. Why?

They'll easily win 6 games. I wouldn't be surprised if they beat Cincy this weekend. In fact I'm picking it. -

It's defying the constitution to not give money to Harvard? I don't care about their admission policies. They don't need money from taxpayers. end of story. -

Yep. mutually assured destruction. Whoever had their hand up Biden's ass running the country didn't want that smoke either. -

Fock Harvard. They don't need money from the government. Let's not act like that isn't some kickback BS. -

I don't know if incompetence is all that simple of an explanation if you're trying to apply Occam's razor. To get that AG job, you have to be incredibly politically and media savvy. These people conveniently becoming stupid when it comes to handling public perception and spin doesn't seem all that simple to me. To me the simplest explanation is Trump spoke with a superficial knowledge of what was happening as usual. AG was like, "Cool. Let's release what we have." Someone from Trump's team reviewed the info to be released and saw it dripping with Trump references among references to other powerful people. Assistant goes back to Trump and says, "yeah, this is bad." Trump then says, "I'll instruct my lemmings to ignore it." Then BAM... an army of seafoams immediately stop caring about old men raping teens and lick those trump boots until they shine. I guess Trump is involved so it's hard to have cohesive messaging when Trump is whipsawing his policy back and forth. -

Najee Harris injured in Fourth of July fireworks incident

I think if his retina can detach with a hard hit, he shouldn't play. Pretty crazy to be gambling with eyesight. -

As a saints fan, I don't even want Arch. I'm tired of these guys with famous names getting overrated. Give me Nussmeier over him. Although I think this much ballyhooed QB class isn't as good as people think. -

Damn... You made them two times better by subtraction? That's cold for Rodgers. -

This injury is super weird. What's up with this dude's eyeball? I mean why does his work load need to be monitored? Like if he gets too much work, his eye will explode? I usually hear about work loads when it's someone returning from a soft tissue injury that can be reaggravated. -

None of you seem overly moral. Gutterboy certainly, but the MAGAs are doing what the wokies always do and are distracting from the goal of bringing pedos to justice. This should be a no brainer for you guys. If Trump isn't in there, release the docs and bring pedos to justice. Trump wins. If Trump is in there, he needs to go down. You'll all say you agree, but pull the wokie thing and spend all your time explaining how Trump is righteous burying the info all because Trump told you to ignore it. The best thing any non-shìtbag maga can do is shut up and use the wokies to uncover the info no matter whether the wokies are hypocrites or not, but you guys want to be right so bad, you're distracting from getting it right. -

Elon Musk: The woke mind virus is killing Western Civilization
nobody replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
I saw a tesla today with a sticker on the bumper that read, "Anti Elon Tesla Club" That is so perfect. Clearly the person is concerned about the car getting vandalized right? So, obviously, it could be someone who doesn't care and just put the sticker on to dissuade the woke mob. But it also says two things: This person is more concerned about crazy wokies vandalizing their car than crazy MAGAts obviously which speaks to how crazy the wokies are. Sure MAGAts may be stupid, but at least their not stupid and violent like wokies. If the person is to be taken at their word, isn't that just the exact wokie behavior? I hate you, but I want this car, so fūck actually putting some action and sacrifice behind my supposed principles. "But what if they bought it before musk threw in with maga!?!?" You may be exclaiming right now. Well, the resale value on Teslas is incredible, so it would be pretty easy to get out of the Elon business if you really wanted to, but no. You want the car and to hate Elon too just like a typical bs virtue signaling wokie. -
Also, to whoever said the market is going to go down for a bit if they cut rates, you're high. Look up the phrase "don't fight the fed" Only reason market would go down is if they don't cut as much as the street was expecting.
-
Dang it. I just fast forwarded this discussion in my head... Let me preempt all that BS and preemptively state that in a highly speculative market like dot com era it's probably best to look at price to sales as opposed to price to earnings since most of these speculative companies have no profit.

This dude thinks P/Es go up when stock prices go down?

I'm talking billions collectively. The power 5 conferences all have tv contracts making them 50-70 mil per school annually or something like that. NFL is different. The players get paid based on a negotiated revenue share which established the salary cap. In college, the stars are probably underpaid in terms of percentage of revenue they generate for their school. For example, this QB is getting 14.5M not even coming from revenue. maybe the whole michigan team is getting what? $70M. The program between ticket sales, tv contracts, merchandise, etc, probably pulling in $200M. So the players should probably be making $100M total if we're comparing to NFL. And I get the whole fan distaste. But that's the evilness of the NCAA and university hitting you. They'd have you believe that the players should play for the love of the game and education while they take in massive amounts of money. Pure sociopathic BS because they sure as shìt ain't fielding these teams and charging reasonable amounts all for the betterment of the student athletes.

The NCAA and universities make billions off these kids talents. Of course, they should get a piece of the pie too. Sad thing is that they somehow found a way to not take it out of NCAA and university profit. They just added donors to the equation to insert more money.
