I think gutter might be right in that the lapd probably can handle the riots without NG help. Just like they could've handled the Floyd riots. Problem is they are told not to handle it. I mean if you're Trump or the public, why would you think newsom and bass are capable of handling the situation based on the track record of incompetence in these situations.

That's one way. You could also just have the NGs presence. That would be enough to curb violence while the protestors protest.

Just because not every person that protests also riots does not equate to protests are not being used to riot. That's the problem we have to solve. How to stop the riots.
