I agree off field stuff was a contributor. Not sure why people think folks who are obviously going to have attitude issues are entitled to being hired. I mean if you were hiring someone, and you came across an average candidate that insisted he was awesome, his dad came along and insisted he was awesome. And it was obvious that anytime this employee didn't get what he wanted, he would cause problems and his dad would come around trying to get you fired, would you hire this person?

It's possible he's just a mid qb that everyone thinks is good because his dad is a pr engine and keeps saying he's legendary and the media agrees because they don't want to get on deion's bad side. If he wasn't deion's kid, I don't think he would've been touted like he was... Which let's be real is why you all think he's so good.

Most likely scenario is neither QB is all that good. People always seem to forget the hit rate even in the first round is like 50%. That's why I do t understand why you guys always buy the hype that every player is good. We see 15-20 busts every year in the first round.

One thing I have about mock drafts is how biased they are. Take the falcons situation when they drafted Penix and everyone (but me) freaked out. I think a lot of that was because the pundits and mock drafters wanted Penix on the raiders. But it wasn't a mistake. QB is the most important position on the field by a mile. If you have to spend extra resources to get that part of your team right, spend the extra resources. But if you look at these mock drafts, they always want to put low ceiling guys on small market teams. It's like when someone doesn't show up for my fantasy draft and I end up having to pick their team. I give them good players. But I give them low ceiling guys. It's the same with these mock drafts. The uncool teams always end up with a guard or tightened while the teams the media are enamoured with get the QBs and high profile players. The cool teams are Dallas, raiders, giants, 49ers, Packers, bears, Lions nowadays, KC, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Rams, and eagles. Those teams will be mocked all the best players unless, of course, a team is picking first overall. I mean mocking a tightend that isn't Brock Bowers pedigree to anyone in the top 10 should be considered an insult. Like, come on. We all know that TJ Warren ain't going to make a damn bit of difference on the Colts or Jets. He's just going to be a solid player that has a good career.

Finding free game film this year is harder than usual this year. I used to be able to find raw game footage of almost every player cut up snap by snap. Now it's all highlights and people analyzing film. Like, bro, I just want the raw film.

Qbs who hold the ball trying to make plays don't fare well in the pros. Sure it works against roast beef tech in college, but Caleb, golden boy Trevor Lawrence, Carson wentz... They don't live up to the hype because even the d linemen can cut off angles in the pros.
