  1. In that same vein, what cracks me up is people from Puerto Rico and Mexico, etc acting like they aren't descendant from spanish colonizers like america were the first people to colonize sh¡t. They calling people colonizers... like, bro, america ain't colonized sh¡t since what WWII? And that was some podunk pacific islands.

Stock Market bubble - will crash

I don't know what you consider regularly, but if I have a position in a stock that I am fairly neutral on, I like to sell covered calls against my position to get a little boost. Usually out of the money calls about a month out. If the options expire, I just sell more options, or the strike price hits and the option is exercised automatically. I use Charles Schwab.

AI Data Centers - What Could Go Wrong?

All you really need to do is take all the people who are put out of work by AI and have them run on hamster wheels to generate energy. It is a win-win-win. It puts people to work. It solves the energy crisis, and it solves obesity.

AI is killing the environment! Let me use AI to formulate some argument as to why AI is worse for the environment than electric cars. HauckTuah, folks!!!!

    US Federal Government Shutdown Thread

@Ray_T clearly there is more to this right? Like if the senate can just change voting rules whenever they want, why have the rule in the first place? Why is it called the nuclear option? Doesn't that imply that something catastrophic would happen if you invoke this option? Clearly there is a reason this isn't being done. Probably because it sets precedent I'd imagine. Lastly, though, my understanding is that the two options on the table are: The blue team can accept the red team's offer to keep business as usual until they work something out. The red team can choose not to negotiate at all and use something called the nuclear option to keep the doors open. In this situation, which side should take more of a blame pie for the current shutdown? And sorry for not spending a lot of calories responding to gutter who has a reputation of just posting stuff to post stuff. This is the man that said, "LAST CHANCE TO GET OUT BEFORE THE MARKET CRASHES!" and then we find out he did nothing. This is the guy that was incredulous that people were under the impression that the covid jab prevented covid after they decided to change the definition on the cdc website and the Biden administration spent a year saying you wouldn't get covid if you got the jab, so please forgive me for not taking him overly seriously.

I'm not even sure what he said was correct. You think the GOP can just change the voting rules as he said? But the main thing I wanted to do was continue the bit where we call out @Ray_T insulting each other.

AI Data Centers - What Could Go Wrong?

You want to save the power grid? Go use AI to develop more efficient renewable energy sources. Oh wait.... That would take some level of critical thinking, forethought, gumption, and vision. This is why the obama thing, talking about, "they didn't build that" referring to people who actually advance shìt was so wrong. Because, this is exactly how the mob thinks. Here's why we can't can't can't can't. When they figured out how we can.

AI Data Centers - What Could Go Wrong?

You guys don't get it. The age of learning is about to be accelerated. For instance, I'm working on a project right now. I put a link to a patent on chatgpt. AI broke down the patent in laymen's terms for me. I didn't understand some sections so I had it elaborate and go into detail on those sections. What would've taken me months researching took me hours to learn because I could target specific nuances and delve deeper until I had a depth of understanding that I was confident in. Now it's definitely not perfect. It's only going to be as smart as the person prompting it, but technology is about to advance at warp speed once people learn how to use it effectively.

AI Data Centers - What Could Go Wrong?

These dudes cried over harvard losing grant money because omg the research omg. Meanwhile, a tool that could enable research to be fast forwarded at an exponential rate comes along and they want to hide from it in caves. It's just uncanny how every take is just so brutally wrong.

AI Data Centers - What Could Go Wrong?

This dude would be bemoaning the ice man losing his job when refrigerators were invented. Bro, AI is a tool. Get on the bus or get left behind. This is as important of a technological leap forward as the arrival of the Internet. It's not taking jobs. It's making jobs easier. When things get easier, industry doesn't contract, it expands. Man... You guys just insist on having opinions. I would've thought after covid, y'all would chill out. Would you guys just let us run things? Every time you get involved it's just bad take after bad take adding friction to progress.

Don Lemonface - Hates white men

I saw some clip on twitter about this. He was saying something how white men are the biggest danger to society, but my favorite part was when he said something like, "and don't even bring up those statistics because that's racist." I literally laughed out loud. Not the best race hustling I've seen, but he's getting what he needs out of it.

    FU Week 5

I'm not one for FUs usually, but I lost a game in a league because Demercardo couldn't be bothered to finish the last 10 yards of a play so he could show how cool he is. Too bad it didn't go his way. I'm sure everyone would've been talking about how cool he looked slowing down for the last 10 yards and dropping the ball an inch over the goal line. He could've pulled the Al Bundy... "one time I had a TD and I was so far ahead I just slowed down for the last 10 yards. And get this... get this. I also dropped the ball the millisecond I crossed the goal line. How cool is that!?!?!"

@Ray_T don't listen to this fake dude. He was racist for years and when the winds blew dei into the foreground he became a wokie. He's so racist that he doesn't even realize his @Secret Asian Man alias where he mocks an asian accent is racist. So because he's deeply racist to his core, but he knows he can't get away with it anymore, he has to latch on to every wokie talking point to keep that wokie merit badge and get those pats on the head from his wokie masters. The problem is his natural state is racism, so he doesn't realize not being racist just means treating people equally. The truth is that even if the red team did force through a vote, gutter (his original handle is gutterboy but he has several aliases he uses because he keeps getting banned) would call Trump Hitler and a dictator. All he knows is orange man bad, so he sits here everyday throwing OMB talking points at the wall hoping some will stick. Funny part is that if his wokie masters get control, he'll be one of the first ones they cut loose.

@Ray_T, this isn't true. You can't just change the senate voting rules. I'm sure common sense is telling you that, but you'd need 2/3rds of the senate to agree to change voting rules. Republicans couldn't "easily change the rules." I'm not sure why he's lying to you. In fact, the Republicans offered to continue having the government run as it has under the last budget while they continue to negotiate and the Dems voted against it, so it clearly is the Dems that are shutting down the government. And as for "it's the responsibility of the president..." We have three branches of government here in the states to provide checks and balances so the president is specifically not solely responsible for getting a deal done. It's odd that the left keeps saying this when the concept of checks and balances is one of the core tenets of our government taught in like 4th grade.

If I was going to fix a game, I wouldn't fix the sides. I would fix the O/U for a half. You could have refs call the offenses tight ensuring the under. Although I guess if some guy tried to put millions on a half's O/U, that might be a problem
