Team B scores 99 points 15 weeks, but happens to score 116 points one week for a total of 1601 points Team A outscored Team B 15 out of 16 weeks but somehow Team B wins even though Team A is clearly better. The better way to do it if you really want the best team to be rewarded is to have every team play every other team each week and the best record at the end of the season wins. So if you're in a 12 team league, each team plays 11 games every week.
