  1. They're a special breed of animal, that is for sure.
  2. It's basically broken down by Metropolitan size, until you get to some of the Southern cities where hockey is not as engrained in youth culture like up north.

    Grocery shopping

It was a focking madhouse this afternoon. Doesn't help that we are supposed to get 4-6in of snow tonight. Lots of 65 year old women (would not) shopping for Thursday...just wandering aimlessly down the center of the isle, not making any room for people to get around them. Or staring at their focking Jitterbug phone for 20min while holding up everyone else trying to shop that section. French's Fried Onion strings are in the focking canned vegetable isle, Nancy...top shelf. Same place they've always been for the last 50 years. Maybe you should just skip on making your sh!tty green bean casserole dish. Your kids will thank you. Gobble, Gobble!

    The new twitter feature..

You could always tell by the username. Not to mention, the really dumb foreigners would take screen shots of other people's posts and the Reply count an Like count would show with a comma instead of a decimal place. Or it would show a post time of 8 hours before us. Those were easy to catch.

  13. Self-realization. I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, “... I drank what?”

    ***Happy Football Day Week 11***

Going to be a bloodbath tonight. NYJ had their one week where they outplayed their projections after gutting their D. Now they get a reality check.

    Family Inheritance?

My sisters and I will inherit our family home It is 100% paid off. It's not very big, but in a desirable area, ao it's maybe worth 250-300k. I have no idea about bank accounts or stocks, etc. I don't care. I am just happy they are both relatively healthy for being almost 80.

The Solution To The Housing Crisis Is.........

Interest only too! Interest only Balloon Notes as a 2nd mortgage were quite popular with the sub-prime borrowers back in 2006.

The Solution To The Housing Crisis Is.........

I worked in the Sub-Prime world back in 2005-2011. What a world it was! Greedy brokers and maybe the dumbest of dumb American borrowers.

They rang the bell an extra time (30) last year for Gordon. He is the single greatest thing to ever come out of Canada.

    Minnesota

North Of 55, West of the river. Near North, Canden neighborhoods. That whole subsection of Minneapolis has been an issue for decades....mostly because of the Red-Lining that was done post WWII. As For Cedar-Riverside, right near the Crack-Stacks it might not be terrible. But just on the south side of 94 in the Midtown-Philips neighborhood, it is a no-go. And it is spilling west into Uptown.

    Minnesota

Yea I never thought I would ever be happy voting for Jacob Frey. But here we are. I will say, not because of him, but the city is in a much better place than 5 years ago. Still have lots of work to do to get rid of the crazies on the City Council. If somehow we can make inroads in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood and get rid if the Somali gangs and maybe finally do something about North Minneapolis, we might just have a great city.
