The link he provided was solid. I had actually found the same piece on another site at the same time. Archive-accessed in order to get around the paywall: https://archive.ph/Ohn0k McCarthy raising a similar prospect now.. https://freebeacon.com/latest-news/israel-didnt-see-a-hamas-strike-coming-the-u-s-could-be-next-mccarthy-warns/

This is good to know. I don't remember that. Carmine Sabia (name is so familiar, but I don't really know who he is) was saying someone he knows who knows a diplomat said that there is a real threat of this. His advice—via this diplomat-knowing friend—was to stay away from big cities. He got a lot of heat for being vague (by both left and right leaners). I can post the Tweet thread if anyone's curious. It's a good time to be wary of fear mongering lest it's being harnessed to get the masses in a certain line. But, this also seems really conceivable. So if Iran actually said that... The more I think about this, it actually seems more than plausible. The "long game" motivation didn't make sense, but I guess they might feel they can deter US assistance to Israel this way.

Some people on X (Twitter) were reposting video of the young woman who was taken away on a motorbike from the music festival, as her boyfriend was marched away on foot...footage proving that she was safe in captivity. Hamas defenders were highlighting it...see this is all *mostly* humane. Such naivety. Her father was leaning into the viral quality of it to plead for her safe return. New headline: "Hamas announces it will begin to EXECUTE hostages and post video evidence online for every Israeli airstrike as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu orders Israel's Defence Forces to besiege Gaza." Unfortunately she'll probably be the first or among the first given how viral that was.

My understanding is that it was scheduled well in advance. Some European countries also tested theirs in the days before. Oddly, Russia tested theirs the same day we did ours. https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russia-conduct-emergency-public-warning-tests-wednesday-2023-10-04/ To me that whole picture is a little , given that now there's a decent chance Israel will seek to take out Iran's nuclear capabilities.

At 1hr, 30 mins in, James Lindsay gets into it here. You'll have to back this up a bit. Great interview. Lindsay is smart/wise enough that he's kind of sexy, despite otherwise not being sexy. -
The regulatory hidden “tax” exceeds individual income taxes, estimated at $1.705 trillion for 2021. It rivals individual and corporate federal income tax receipts combined, estimated at $1.973 trillion in 2021 ($1.707 trillion in individual income tax revenues and $268 billion in corporate income tax revenues).

Slain tech CEO among seemingly innocent, random murder victims in Baltimore City
naomi replied to RLLD's topic in The Geek Club
Obviously this could be wrong, because it's just pure speculation on my part. But I have a feeling she saw this burly man beckoning her over from the other side of the glass and was immediately concerned for her safety. But then she checks herself for profiling him, suppresses her own instinct, because she doesn't want to be "a part of the problem." And she does that to the point of stepping inside the elevator with him, which was probably against instinct to the fiber of her being, but she couldn't let herself be (in her mind) a total hypocrite. Maybe she even confronted it as a test of how genuine she is. Again, I could be totally wrong. But that theoretical prospect...damn. -
Slain tech CEO among seemingly innocent, random murder victims in Baltimore City

The details are horrendous. The suspect had to have tested out as seriously focked in the mind, while in the system. "The police report also revealed that she was found laying face-up, half clothed and had suffered blunt force trauma to the head, face and body. The report stated: 'This crime scene consisted of a brick, blood, buttons, pants, 3 teeth, broken hair clip and a pair of red shoes believed to belong to the victim.' It remains unclear if she was murdered before she was dumped on the roof, or if she was killed on the roof." -
Gavin Newsome to pick a white male to replace Feinstein

While SF Mayor.. The problem is, I think he seriously committed himself to securing winning optics while under scrutiny, maybe from this day forward. He's actually creepily good at turning the tables. DeSantis/Newsom will be -
With the first "this is what they heard"...I don't get it. Needs more explanation. Or I need whatever treatment this is leading to

The ***OFFICIAL*** Vivek Ramaswamy for POTUS Thread
naomi replied to KSB2424's topic in The Geek Club
Probably for good reason. Vivek Ramaswamy partnered with the Chinese government to advance 'Chinese biopharmaceutical research abroad,' but changed tune when much-hyped endeavors went belly up -
Curious about this.. Did you learn by simply getting in the water, moving your body, and intuitively adjusting to what worked... OR, did you learn by formal instruction...seeing/hearing technique, mentally banking it, and following steps? I imagine it's probably a mix of those two for most people. But, I also imagine many people just figure it out for themselves.

COVID Vaccines Caused 300,000 Excess Deaths, $147 Billion in Damage

Can you post links for more context on these two things? Excess death in many countries and disability claims in the U.S. are growing more intense. So far 2023 is taking the cake. -

Pierre Kory's recent Substacks are good reads mostly regardless of 'what side' of the fence you're on. They major on recent actuarial data. https://pierrekory.substack.com/p/i-published-an-op-ed-in-usa-today https://pierrekory.substack.com/p/the-may-2023-society-of-actuaries -
