I got to hand it to him when he said he could shoot someone on the street and not lose support. Past candidates have seen their campaigns collapse for far less. Just ask Howard Dean and Gary Hart. This is mentally ill thinking. In order to stop a shooting, the legally armed person would have to sense that someone was about to whip out a gun and shoot people. One could be in a room of armed Marines, pull out a gun and kill a few of them before getting taken down. Oh, and the guys who did the subduing here did so without guns. Think of how many lives could be saved if we don't let crooks and crazy people buy guns. Are you for the right of crooks and crazy people to buy guns?
