UPDATE: Kittle - Expected to play Week 12

Good strategy, i'm actually thinking about re-arranging for a Gesicki addition, feeling like he and Fitz have some good vibes working.

    Smartest Play Ever?

Welp, that would cover it. Except I'm not the one who submitted, at a minimum, the second occurrence of a play as the smartest play ever. How can it be the smartest play if it's already been done? Hey, I have this GREAT idea for networking disconnected computers around the world...you know, creating sort of a place where they can share information and opinions...it's the GREATEST idea ever. Wait, it's be done already? Well, it's still the GREATEST IDEA EVER because even though someone beat me to it, i still thought of it! Heaven spare us from hairy, fat, internet know-it-alls with keyboard related superiority complexes. #AEIAFP

UPDATE: Kittle - Expected to play Week 12

This isn't good, I have him in 2/3 of my leagues and one of them has very narrow benches. Not sure I even have room for a backup TE short of dropping a good player from my roster into the player pool. With two teams in 1st place, one at 9-0 and the other at 7-2, I may just risk the "nil" from him in score column.

    Smartest Play Ever?

Then Axe Elf goes on to dismiss and reject the plays submitted by everyone else as the smartest plays, only because they aren't Axe Elf's suggestion. But as it turns out Axe Elf banked his assertions of superiority on a play that wasn't the original version. The rest of the board cannot be held accountable for Axe Elf's research shortcomings, faulty logic, or extremely over inflated sense of ego. But again, thanks for playing.

    Smartest Play Ever?

So, I think we can settle this once and for all. Since you posted the video of Ty Montgomery doing the out of bounds play, which occurred in 2016...and since LoOnAtIk posted the video with Randall Cobb doing the same thing, 4 years before in 2012 AND pointed out that it had been done before, it's pretty clear. The play by Randall Cobb is clearly the smarter one because it is the original one. It also essentially proves that since your opinion of the "smartest play in NFL history" is based on something that is completely unoriginal, then everyone who submitted something different is correct that their submission is "smarter" than yours because at least they knew enough not to post a copy of the Mona Lisa and try to play it off as the original. Thanks for playing though... AEIAFP

    Washington RBs

I took the flier on Guice in multiple leagues because starting RB's with good skills are hard to find later in the year.

    Yeah, hard to believe huh?

UPDATE: Conner Shoulder - Out Week 10

I love Conner's story, like the guy as a player, but he's hurt too much. As good as the Steelers are at evaluating talent, they don't appear to be very good evaluating the drop-off in talent level from AB to Juju, from Lev to Conner or especially from Ben to (insert X-string QB here).

    AJ Green Is it time

I jettisoned his arse as soon as the news came out. Took fliers on Guice instead. Done with AJ...

    Smartest Play Ever?

You know what we love about you is the fact that you are so fockin open to differences of opinion. It's remarkable that in your interminable wisdom you still take time to recognize that others may not see things quite the same way as you, yet still find a way to give value to those opposing view points . You're really quite remarkable . Your openmindedness and wisdom are exceeded only by your humility So much so that you deserve your own acronym! AEIAFP

    AJ Green Is it time

I suspect this was the plan all along. When he didn't come back before the bye, there's really no reason to even think about playing him. They're headed toward a top draft pick, starting a rookie QB behind a line that putrid...Green wasn't going to save them or make them relevant...Put him on IR and try again next season.

    AJ Green Is it time

man, i've been holding and feeling like a fool. tomorrow will be a bigger test...lots of vets get wednesday off...few of them are hurt as frequently as AJ.

    Joe Mixon

I was shocked to see how far the mighty Mixon has fallen...he's on waivers in one of my leagues...it's not because he was dropped due to Bye-meggedon...it's because the whole league thinks he sucks and has been sitting there since last week.

    James White....what is the obsession?

He sits on my bench with 16.4 while flavor of the week Tevin Coleman started and got me 5.6. Same week i opted to start DJ Chark for the first time over Tyreek HIll. It's a wonder I won at all...

    Jackson vs Patriots DST

So, starting Stafford in one league was the right call, although very close. Starting Josh Allen in the other wasn't, but really didn't hurt me. Since one cannot predict injuries, I think I feel comfortable going with Jackson against any matchup short of San Francisco (who's defense is legit).

    Jackson vs Patriots DST

This fine establishment has Lamar as the #2 QB this week despite the negative match-up vs New England (#1 vs QB pts). I have him in two leagues and am higher on Stafford vs the Raiders (#32 against QB pts) and maybe even Josh Allen vs Redskins (#18 vs QB pts). What says the wisdom of the people?

    Thank you for not coaching

I'm going to venture out on a limb and talk about Tomlin's horrible coaching. The man has ZERO concept of challenges. You can't make this up, he is 1-13 in his last 14 I believe. He pulled two of them yesterday, challenging a defensive passing interference call on one play against his team and an offensive pass interference call on the Colts that wasn't made on the field. Both occurred in the final 2 minutes of the game yesterday with the Steelers clinging to a 2 point lead with Indy driving. If not for a great play by his defense on 3rd and 1 to stop the drive, and Vinatieri shanking the FG attempt, this would have been a textbook example of how to lose while blowing 2 challenges and 2/3 of your timeouts and place immense pressure on your clearly not-ready-for-the-moment 2nd year QB. By NOT challenging he could have had the EXACT same outcome and if Vinatieri hits the FG, nearly 2 minutes AND 3 timeouts left...but no...he has a complete inability to effectively discern a good challenge from one doomed to fail.

    Escaped The Jaws of Hell

It's luck and educated guessing mixed with attentiveness. Those owners who study, stay ahead of the curve and plan things out are more likely to make better educated guesses and take the luck factor out a little bit. That being said, trying to control something you have ZERO control over is an exercise in futility.

Are You Going To Jettison (All) Bengal Receivers ?

I've held AJ Green in two leagues all season, I'd like to see what happens before I jettison him. Finley is the great unknown at this point. I should also point out, that Dalton is still there, healthy, and available if he were to really screw up...and Dalton already has chemistry with Green. I'm willing to hold a couple of weeks.

    Patriots at Ravens: In-Game Discussion

Ravens absolutely destroyed the Pats early, then took the foot off the gas. This looked like NE was coming back. I benched Jackson in one league for Josh Allen, didn't hurt me but wishing I hadn't. New England is a fraud, a sham. This same Ravens team needed luck and OT to beat the crippled Steelers a couple of weeks ago and dominated the Pats yesterday.

Emmanuel Sanders looking like a WR1

His ranking aside, what I was most impressed with was Garappalo. Dude made some throws I didn't think he could make and showed a level of trust in his WR's that I didn't factor in. That being said, the AZ defense may be THE cure to WHATEVER ails you. I'm onboard with Sanders as a WR2 ROS, but do not expect results like what he got vs AZ every week.

what a display by Drake...man, do i wish I had tried to acquire him.

    Jackson vs Patriots DST

wow, that's a strong statement. So, in league A I've pretty much convinced myself I'm going with Stafford over Lamar, that one is pretty easy. It's league B, where I have Josh Allen that I'm really waffling. I am actually a bit scared that Buffalo gets up and eats up plays and clock with running game. You can bet that Belicheat is going to come up with something special to take away Larmar's running, since that is maybe their biggest weapon. I expect he will assign a shadow to him or something old school.

    Adam Gase

Gase is a joke...a punchline at this point. It was suggested by some that Steelers should entertain trading for Bell...who wants to take on that contract? I can see why Gase would want to trade him, he's a runner that requires a good offensive line to be successful and the Jets don't have it, and Gase knows it. That being said, as a head Coach, why would you tank, sell off your assets and set the table for someone else to be successful after they jettison your ass for 2-14 or 1-15 records?
