    Saints players' bounty suspensions reversed

How is it going to be smart when Vilma drags him into court and he has to do and EUO on the entire thing. Smart? This is not over. I saw even Vitt is going in front of federal judge now. I think this entire thing is going to blow up. Remember this all started after the Farve game. If Minnesota wins that game if Minnesota beat the crap out of Brees like the Saints did Farve that night and the Saints complain it would have went nowhere. This is about someone the commish not liking another person Shaun Payton. Wait till they ask for his emails etc on the matter. I can't wait I really hope Vilma takes it all the way. I have a feeling NFL will settle with Vilma out of court eventually a nice chunk of change and an apology. I think if the coaches had any union etc to take up the fight for them the entire thing would be thrown out.

    Saints players' bounty suspensions reversed

Okay so you don't have enough evidence to prove the players particiapted and if you can 't prove the players participated how can you have a bounty. I mean this entire thing really needs to be looked at. I hope the player continue with court cases on this. I have a feeling it go thrown out because there is no proof and you really have to start looking at what was the motive for the commish?
  3. Where was the dime or the cover two. Look at the replays they keep showing of Marino from 1984. Yes the QB got hit the WR got hit but when you completed a 6 yard slant it went 70 yards. Nobody was set up to stop Marino. Somebody lined up in the slot and they had a LB trying to cover one of the Mark's down the field. All that works both ways. In any era Marino, Brees, Brady etc are great QB's. Everybody wants to be sentimental and anti records these days. He broke and who knows maybe Brady passes Brees next week. They were all great.

Sproles replaces Bush in New Orleans

I think Saints RB situation is great for Saints horrible for FF. Healthy Lance Moore usually means struggling SAints Brees locks in on him. Hurt for a lot of SB run. Can;t wait till 9th round though. New Orleans always tough too many weapons nobody super star except Brees. Ingram could be the exception. I think if he can do it they will ride him a lot.

    Philly fans....

If Vick can stay healthy and out of trouble they should have a great chance. Thinking Green Bay, Philly, New Orleans and Falcons are the competition in NFC.

Matt Moore to sign with Dolphins?

Bush went to Miami without a QB. It is just hard to believe he will do anything without Brees or a QB like Brees hittig him in stride coming out of the backfield. Question his decision making. Which has always been a problem.

    Reggie Bush is a B U S T !

They will keep him on life support. If we are going to keep throwing up this guys all purpose yards I am sure we can get him to 100 yards a game. I mean wow the guy is getting 25 touches. He played two of the worse defenses in the league the first two weeks and his running in particular was less than impressive. He is always trying to get to the corner and rarely tried to run up the middle. What this does is allow the LB to run to a spot instead of trying to run to Reggie Bush. He has good rec skills but again I will say give most guys in the NFL even the ones coming off the Bench 25 touches and let them return punts and these all purpose yards numbers are average at best. Everyone keeps talking about the TEXANS and making a mistake. The mistake is that Reggie is a media wet dream. The attention he brings to a club and city is the mistake the TEXANS made. I think when we look back 10 years from now we will have to move much further down the board from the 1st and 2nd pick to see who was the best pick of this draft.
  8. I have been saying it for months. Get your money in quality. Brk-b or some other types of safe plays. Listening to CNBC everybody talking about how overblown it is. In other words get your money in so I can get mine out.

    The fix is in!

I do not think it is an accident that he has BJ on the back of his shirt.

There is Justice in this world after all !

I do not have an interest in either team I only saw like the last 3 minutes of 2nd half did watch the first. I do agree with this however watching the first half just felt the refs did a job on the chargers.
  11. Look at the schedule. Sept. 1, 2007 Youngstown St. (Big Ten Network) W 38-6 1-0 Sept. 8, 2007 Akron (Big Ten Network) 12:00 pm ET Sept. 15, 2007 at Washington (ESPN) 3:30 pm ET Sept. 22, 2007 Northwestern 12:00 pm ET Sept. 29, 2007 at Minnesota 8:00 pm ET Oct. 6, 2007 at Purdue 8:00 pm ET Oct. 13, 2007 Kent 12:00 pm ET Oct. 20, 2007 Michigan State (ABC) 3:30 pm ET Oct. 27, 2007 at Penn State 8:00 pm ET Nov. 3, 2007 Wisconsin 12:00 pm ET Nov. 10, 2007 Illinois 12:00 pm ET Nov. 17, 2007 at Michigan 12:00 pm ET Nobody out of conference. They play Penn St on road and Wisc at home. They could actually go through this undefeated. Toughest game is Wisc but they have them at home. If they win out the media will have them in the game again and if they draw USC or LSU or Florida they will get smashed again. Just like the two years OK play LSU and USC back to back. Stop holding out your conference schedule as all that. I saw Cal play Tenn yesterday, USC will play anybody, LSU has Virg Tech tmrw. Play somebody.

Ohio State could get exposed this year.

No wins against the SEC 0-9
  13. Thanks TJ an honest man in the world! Don't worry I will post the same thing next year. Even if they lose to USC I don't see them losing in the Big 10 unless RR is a miracle worker. TJ all I am really trying to get at here is that we need a playoff and the Big 10 OSU and the Pac 10 USC are holding that up. Why? We know why because they benefit the most in particular OSU from the current system. If a playoff in place they don't sniff the BCS Champ game the last two years.
  14. Go read, you and Chronic and that other jag off really put your foot in your mouth.
  15. santa*69

Ohio State could get exposed this year.

No KP you know you throw in your Schedule you guys normally step out and play one team nice team out of conference and hold that up. What does it matter if you lose then you don't lose the rest of the year in the Big10. That is BS. I hope we go to a playoff the Big 10 will never make the champ game. That is why you defend it and the Big 10 doesn't want to get near a playoff.
  16. santa*69

Ohio State could get exposed this year.

The gap is huge right now. Despite what KP thinks. They point to teams in the SEC have 2 losses or more they only reason for that is you play highly competitive tough games every week. Big 10 fans would never understand that. Kp is loving life living in an era where his weak ass team can go through a cup cake schedule, sure throw USC on lose the game still run off 10 or 11 in a row and be right back at the game. The two SEC teams that beat the hell out of OSU the last two years needed the red sea to part to make the game. Just think OSU could have been playing BC or Mich the last two years just ridiculous. Ohio St could have run off two titles in a row. Ofcourse Kp is going to defend this his team benefits from it more than anybody. Ohio State would not have even been in the top 10 maybe even top 20 at the end of the season in the SEC.
  17. santa*69

Ohio State could get exposed this year.

Your right someone had to lose but it should not have been OSU they should not be in the game with the schedule they play. You keep holding out played Texas in the past and USC next two years. Who cares if you lose those games you then have a bunch of Ohio schools and the Big 10 waltz to 10 or 11 wins in a row and right back into Nat champ game. We need a playoff all I am saying and until then weak teams like OSU will keep making it to the Nat Title game and unless they pull like a BC or S. Florida they are going to get out classed every time. They get in title game get punched in mouth and then don't respond.
  18. Kp sorry went to bed. No obsession with OSU it is with the Big 10 and the schdedule. Go ahead you play USC next year. Lets say you lose the game. Well get to go right back into Big 10 and rattle of 10 or 11 in a row and right back in Nat Champ picture. Fowler called Big 10 out on it after the game. The Big 10 needs to step up you look at the SEC coaches whos who of college football. Look at the Big 10. Hats off to Mich stepping up and getting a big name. Zook is avg. You have Jo pa legend but it is over. Facts are facts 0-9 against SEC in bowls games and unless after waltzing through that weak ass conference next year and getting lucky and pulling like a BC or someone for Nat Title will get the shank again. Nice game! All I want is an 8 team playoff. Then lets see how many Nat Champ games OSU plays in.

Ohio State could get exposed this year.

Chronic Kp Gettin Where are you come on back now?
  20. Madden with a Farve like man crush for Ward was incapable of being unbiased on that replay. I mean it was so obvious. I don't care who wins this came could care less but clearly Madden is not objective.

    Reggie Bush is a B U S T !

Saints proved it again today. Anybody Anybody can get 12 catches in this offense. The difference is anybody with Talent Like Pierre Thomas can avg 12 yards a reception compared to Bush 5. Also he got 20 carries and got over 100 yards. If you watched this today you saw everything that Bush can't do. Overpayed, overhyped, Reggie Bush can never be a featured back in the NFL. As the No. 2 pick in the draft last year that makes you a huge BUST!!
  22. santa*69

Who else has stecker on the bench?

Now Ed you are one of the only people that I thought understood. Any RB in this offense is a start. Problem for Saints they had Bush in backfield all year. Don't you love all of the love for Bush how he could catch and run. Well we see now anybody gets the catches in that offense and actually have a journeyman type running back in and still can gash the defense with this offense.

    Reggie Bush is a B U S T !

ED Jr. I see a lot of people in media coming around lets just be clear I said it first. Wash out bust.

    Reggie Bush is a B U S T !

Yes Newbie anybody watched him yesterday believe it or not he is getting worse. He is a huge bust. Horrible. He may get benched if they don't get a good RB to actually run the ball. Commentary: Odds were against The Play from the start Bush is no star right now 07:38 PM CST on Monday, December 3, 2007 Jim Henderson / WWL-TV Sports Director To second guess "the play" is the easiest thing in the world to do in hindsight. But with foresight, it should have been nearly as easy. Jim Henderson "The play"....the botched reverse that cost the Saints the game, any realistic chance at the division title, and quite possibly a play-off berth as well. Any play call is only the right call if it works. That one didn't so it wasn't the right call, but the odds were too great that it wouldn't be. The risk was simply too great for the potential reward. On second and ten were the Saints likely to run for a first down when the longest run of the day against the stout Tampa defense had been 14 yards and the second longest it had permitted had been 4 yards? “The play" required an exchange between Reggie Bush and Devery Henderson. The hands and judgment of both had proven suspect throughout the season. A botched exchange could result in a fumble - a fumble that the odds said would have been difficult for the offense to recover with so many defenders coming up-field and so many players on offense away from the ball and having their backs to it. Tragically, that's exactly what happened. At crunch time it is moreso the players than the play who win the game. Sunday at crunch time it was "the play" moreso than the players who lost it. Yes, it's up to the players to execute the play called. But it was a play too risky to be called with so much on the line. And that should have been nearly as clear with foresight as it soon was in hindsight. Sean Payton took the blame, as he should have. The players took the blame for their teammates' mistakes, as they should have. And Reggie Bush "took a powder" when it came to saying anything about anything, as he shouldn't have. I remember in the first game this season with the Bucs in Tampa, Deuce McAllister had given up a crucial early fumble in the game that quickly became a rout. He sat patiently at his locker afterward, responding civilly to anyone's questions about it. That's what pros do. That's what leaders do. That's what superstars do. Reggie Bush is not a superstar. Right now he's not even a star. It may seem heretical for a Saint fan to admit that. But at this point in a season that's three-quarters over, there is simply too much evidence to the contrary. He may eventually be both. But right now, he isn't. He doesn't deserve special treatment and the truly great ones don't need it. It pains me to say that. But for too long I've thought that. And perhaps you have too. For 59 minutes and 46 seconds Sunday I also thought the game was immensely entertaining despite its flaws with five lead changes until the sixth -- the Jeremy Stevens touchdown catch -- provided the final one. That was after the Saints had more than shot themselves in the foot with the botched reverse. They'd blown that sucker clean off. Apart from that, Mrs. Lincoln. How did you like "the play."
