  1. Heads up - Joe Webb is WR eligible in Yahoo! leagues. If you have another WR/flex on Monday (like Earl Bennett), and Joe is a last minute choice to start at QB, you can make a last minute switch and have a potential for QB points out of the WR spot...

Joe Webb - QB and WR eligible in Yahoo!

Ramsey...insurance behind third-string quarterback Joe Webb. -- but I like your quote better, listing Favre's injury as (body)

4 players that will "blow up" this week

I'm starting BenJarvus Green-Ellis in my 16-team league. He has done nothing but produce whenever he has had a chance to run, and I think he will run right over the "red zone pirates" From Belichick's press conference yesterday:

    Todd Heap

Heap is less likely to break down if he is spending less time blocking. The better Oher protects on the right side, the better Heap will play.

Any clue how to watch the game ...

Game was on Fox. I have a Sprint Blackberry too. Here's the deal: - Only NFL Network games on live streaming video - All NFL games on live streaming audio - your choice of home team or away team's audio stream.

    What are your favorite movies

Something Wild is my favorite movie. It has something for everybody (yes, including Melanie Griffith in a nude scene). Totally dark, totally unpredictable, and quite possibly the best soundtrack ever. Another review.

    Movie Recommendations...

I'll come in from left field and suggest a PG rated animated movie. I still haven't seen a movie this year better than Hoodwinked. I dare you to watch it and not be totally entertained. It's hilarious, suspenseful, and intelligent. And it will be in stock wherever you want to rent movies. another review here

Looking to buy a new used car

For that money, in that situation, why not treat yourself and buy a new V6 Accord Coupe? Seriously. I drive an Accord V6 - they are fast and reliable, keep up their value, have every safety feature standard, and are cheap to insure. review link Used '04-'07 Acura TSX or TL sedans are also very good choices.

    Super Bowl contenders

I agree. I'm in the Fantasy Superbowl in my 12 team redraft league, where I am the defending champion. I won't bore you with my lineup, though.

Good D for the stretch run - Miami

I agree with RamslovaMartzhata that you do not need to start a D from a team with a good record to play down the stretch -- but my analysis is the exact opposite. Last year I won my fantasy Superbowl by picking, off the waiver wire, the Bengals, Rams, and Chiefs - the three teams that played the Raiders - in weeks 14-16 - and got super fantasy scores each week. It's hard to use the same strategy this year -- picking the teams that play the Dolphins -- because the Phins play the Bills in Week 14, the Ravens in Week 15, and the Pats in Week 16. All three of these defenses are taken in my 12 team league. However, here is my good pick for WW defense in the playoffs: ***CLEVELAND*** Cleveland in week 14 plays the Jets Cleveland in week 15 plays Buffalo In my league, Cleveland has been a top 5 defense for the past three weeks. McGinest has been quoted as saying that the Crennel defense is finally clicking in. And they are a winning team . I just dropped the Lions D for the Cleveland D. Cleveland plays the Bengals in week 16, so, if you are in the superbowl, you may think about picking up Arizona for week 16 against Atlanta.
  13. Well, if the Pack are 8-1 because they haven't played anyone yet, they might end up 14-2. Remaining games CAR @ GB GB @ DET GB @ DAL OAK @ GB GB @ STL GB @ CHI DET @ GB Other than Dallas on the road, where's the challenge?

    What's up with Boston?

At least he's not punching above his weight trying to be governor like Philly mayors do

    Soy un perdedor...

Beck was a great passing QB at BYU, but he doesn't have the tools on the 0-9 Phins. Anyone picking him up as a replacement for Griese or Huard? (note: this is mainly an excuse for me to create a "Soy un perdedor..." thread before you hear it in millions of bad FF article headlines)

Can someone explain to me the obsession of 80's rock

Your answer was inside the post - they all play the awesome Guitar Hero, which has lots of greta '80s songs.

    Truck / Minivan help needed

If you are looking at an FJ Cruiser, why not check out the Jeep Patriot? More room at a lower price, better mileage than the FJ, and it looks good too. If you only need room for 5 you should check it out. I'm not biased to the Patriot, even though I've recommended it before on this bored - in fact, I own an Odyssey minivan and think it has great power, handling, and gas mileage, and it has all the safety stuff standard, even in the base model.

Tom Brady owners: Keeping a backup QB?

Your backup QB is very valuable to someone else if you are in a 12-team league. Beware of dropping your backup if it makes another team stronger with the waiver pickup - like, say, that team with Griese and Rivers that is somehow still in first place (umm, that would be me )

    If the Pats go 16-0

Absolutely. Next to the *, it will say "The Patriots did not play the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, St. Louis Rams, San Francisco 49ers, and Seattle Seahawks. If the Patriots had played these teams, they would be 34-0."

    Anthony Bourdain rips Rachel Ray

He's so out of touch he doesn't realize that Dunkin Donuts = coffee, not donuts. Good coffee, too. And the commercial I saw with her was for coffee. Last time I checked, black coffee = 2 calories. Best diet food evah. Lots of black coffee helped me lose 30 pounds last year. I'm no Ray fan (except for those 5 year old FHM pics which are pretty good), but there's nothing wrong in her doing commercials for Dunkin Donuts coffee.

    week 6 survivor pick

Looks like I'm standing alone here - I'm the only one so far picking Arizona. Warner over Testaverde (or Carr) -- at home.

    Mitt Romney on medical marijuana

Romney's wife has lived with chronic, degenerative Multiple Sclerosis for years, so I'm sure he isn't unfamiliar with the kinds of painkillers out there. That being said, I personally am all for medical marijuana... ...or at least I was, until I saw that all the TCH in davebg's brain turned him into a paranoia-fueled slacker whose mind tricks him into thinking that someone is throwing dog poop off the balcony at him ...until I realized that's great fun to read about, so I'm once again all for medical marijuana
