    Week 16 All-Out Blitz (2023) ...

I will not go chapter and verse on your decision at QB. I have no faith in Pittsburgh's ability to air out it (after Diontae, and even that makes me queasy). I think my decision would come down to Meyers vs. Shaheed at WR. I am still not betting on any non-elite WR (as much as I love McLaurin, his QB situation keeps him from getting there) vs. the Jets. Parker Washington will only be a consideration for me if Lawrence plays, and the odds of him passing through concussion protocol in less than a week are slim. The Raiders generally avoided L'Jarius Sneed (who mostly shadowed Davante) in key situations in the first meeting. I don't know how well prioritizing Meyers again will work. It seems to me as though KC adjusted fairly quickly. Depending on how your league scores return yardage, I think the safest play is probably Shaheed. While he has a low floor, he gets a bit of help from the 40 or so yards he should get in the return game. And Shaheed's ceiling is super high in just about every game.

    Week 16 All-Out Blitz (2023) ...

It sure seems that way if Chase has to miss the rest of the fantasy regular season.
  3. As has become an annual tradition for me, I would like to use my final three columns of the season to answer your start/sit questions for the fantasy playoffs. Please ask them below or tweet me @DougOrth. Dynasty questions are also fair game. All I ask is that you include anything that would help me sway my decision one way or the other, especially if there is an unusual scoring setup. I will assume that you are OK with your question(s) being featured in the column(s) unless you say otherwise.

I haven't quite arrived at my opinion for Hopkins yet. I think I would play him over OBJ though.

I think you will like what I have to say about Stafford. Glad to hear it! I am not going to talk you into Jones If you can find a way to add Zeke, I would.

Just double-checking we are talking about Keenan Allen, Aaron Jones and D.J. Moore above. Also, do you only need to start two WRs?

    Fournette

I heard a talking head speculate that Fournette is likely getting in shape. While that may be silly to say for most players, Lenny tends to let himself go even when he is under contract. I could see the Bills using this time to get comfortable with his playing weight. FWIW, pure speculation.

Where is Doug Orth's PPR rankings?

My pleasure. Yes, I think Perine has season-long value, although I could see Jaleel McLaughlin making this a three-man RBBC as the season progresses (Javonte - 40%, Perine - 30-35%, McLaughlin - 10-15%).

    UPDATE: Doug Orth's Big Boards - 2023: PPR v2

Yes. Basically moved him down to the end of Tier 2, which for PPR purposes is right behind Barkley and A.J. Brown and ahead of Ridley. Kinda questioning if he should move down behind Olave at this point.

    UPDATE: Doug Orth's Big Boards - 2023: PPR v2

Simply put, they are two very different backs. Using your example of CMC and Mitchell, CMC makes his living running outside the tackles and in the passing game. Mitchell is much more of a straight-ahead, physical runner than CMC and is not used as often as a receiver.

Damn JSN injury ruining hours of my finest work Not really, but it feels good just to get it out there.

Where is Doug Orth's PPR rankings?

I will do my best. I will be making my annual trek to Canton for the King's Classic and Fantasy Football Expo this week, so I may not check this forum a lot over the next week. But yes, I will answer questions here, via email or Twitter.

Round Eight - Eleven Commentary - July Mock 2023

Devin Singletary is not a target of mine per se, but I believe the 49ers-inspired running game Houston will use this year means good things for the Texans RBs (as will the upgraded o-line). If I end up being wrong about Pierce carrying a heavy load, it will be nice to know I will have the higher-scoring Houston RB regardless.
