I'm in a keeper league, where picks are tradeable so having a higher pick has value. However to prevent the weaker teams from tanking it. The bottom 4 teams go into a lottery. A la the NBA draft setup. It's worked out well.

10 over and unders, what say you? Tom Brady: o/u 29 TD's Randy Moss: o/u 13 TD's Brain Westbrook :banana:/u 12 Total TD's ADP o/u 1700 yards rushing LT: o/u 14 rushing TD's Peyton Manning: o/u 29 TD's Housh: o/u 95 receptions Roddy White: o/u 10 TD's T.O.: o/u 12 TD's Detroit Lions: o/u 3 wins.

21 points with 10 minutes to go in the NFL could be turned around in no time. Plus your acting as though they came out and threw the ball 15 straight times. As the FB33 said, that drive consisted of 2 pass plays and 2 runs. Regardless, I'm glad as heck that the team I root for has a coach that goes for the jugular. As for your main point. I don't think anyone is expecting 40 -50 TD's again, that's just absurd for anyone to think Moss or Brady will equal those 2007 totals. With that said, I don't think hoping for 30 pass Tds from Brady and 15 TD's from Moss is absurd. I'd be happy with those possible numbers with my Fantasy QB and WR.

actually smells more like burnt toast!

What's the feeling on Westbrook this year. He's another year older, after another year of year long lingering injury issues? He finished 9th overall in my league (not ppr) and that was with missing two games and some parts of others. I've seen some people dropping him out of the top 10 RB's? Is that drastic or right about where a 30 year old RB should be at this point in his career?

What about Jason Taylor? Imagine they got both!

For as long as I can remember being a football fan, 1985-86 (Bears/Pats). I was 8. I have watched every SB in it's entirety. I vaguely remember S's before then but didn't care, anyway........ Outside of physically not being able to (work, prior commitment), has anyone chose to just not watch it? Didn't like the matchup, won't watch unless your team is in it???

Good Topic. Although I imagine most people will have "their" teams Superbowl at the top or close. 1. Pats vs Rams 2. Bills vs Giants 3. Tenn vs Rams 4. SF vs Bengals 5. Pats vs Panthers
-
Regardless of the Patriots being in it, the above is just flawed. The Eagles proved they could defeat the cards but lost, the Colts proved they could defeat the Changers but lost. Carlina proved they could defeat the Cardinals but lost. The Titans proved they could defeat the Ravens but lost. Good argument though

Let's assume the Piitsburgh Steelers will win the Super Bowl.
Jesus Christ replied to edjr's topic in FFToday Board
Wait, so the only reason the Pats dominated during that time was due to "illegal videotaping"? That's crazy, I feel bad for all these teams hiring coaches and executives who's success with the pats came during that time span. Eric Mangini (Cleveland Browns) Josh McDaniels (Denver Broncos) Thomas Dimitroff (Atlanta) Scott Pioli (Kansas City) some def coordinators and offensive coordinators as well -

Or look at the AFCC games 2001-02 New England Patriots vs Pittsburgh Steelers 2002-03 Oakland Raiders vs Tennessee Titans 2003-04 New England Patriots vs Indianapolis Colts 2004-05 New England Patriots vs Pittsburgh Steelers 2005-06 Pittsburgh Steelers vs Denver Broncos 2006-07 Indianapolis Colts vs New England Patriots 2007-08 New England Patriots vs San Diego Chargers 2008-09 Pittsburgh Steelers vs Baltimore Ravens -
True or False - Warner has cemented a spot in Canton?
Jesus Christ replied to RamslovaMartzhata's topic in FFToday Board
Brady hasn't been benched at any time, was more durable (granted Brady missed this year, but that was due to a freak play) Warner's missed 50+ possible starts since his '99 run with the Rams. He's thrown 30 + more INT's and had 30 + more fumbles. With that said, Warner should be a HOF with a win vs teh Steelers. -
Does Arizona Stand A Chance Against Pitt?
Jesus Christ replied to stonewall's topic in FFToday Board
Like the way the Cards defense is playing, don't like the way the Pitt offense is playing. The Pitt d has been amazing but they haven't had to play a Boldin or Fitzgerald, or for that matter a offense that is clicking. SD is good, but away on the road, inthe cold, they aren't the same team. It will be low scoring but I see the cards making one more big play the steelers. Plus, don't underestimate the fact that Whisenhunt knows the Steeler personal, he hasn't been gone that long. Cards win 17-14. -
Really? You don't think Cassel was helped out by being in that offense for 3 years prior or that, overall, the entire offense was familiar with it and knew where they had to be etc. Cutler, Marshall and Royal will all be starting from day 1.

Last year he was the consensus # 1 QB. Some sites/people had him going at 1, in the top 5 and definitely in the top 10. Where are people thinking he may go in your '09 drafts?
-
What's everyone's thoughts on this? I know fantasy people that play into week 17 hate it but what about as fans? If your team has wrapped up a playoff spot and seeding, do you want your players resting week 17? Myself I hate it, I say keep pushing , i don't want my team letting up at all.

The Pats, are mot likely not going to get in at 11 - 5. Pats need either the Jags to beat the Ravens or the Jets to beat Miami and win their game at buffalo (i'm sure you've all read/heard that) Thing is, the Ravens and Pats games are at 1. Jets/Fins to be moved to 4. If both the Pats and Ravens win, that eliminates the Jets with or without a win vs Miami. So if the Pats and Ravens win, Anyone think the jets are going to even try to play a game, with no playoff hopes and the hated New England Patriots needing their help? No way. Mangini and the Jets may have the power to give the biggest F. U. in the history of sports and just sit everyone to keep the Pats out.
-
Mangin/Jets to possibly give the biggest F.U. ever?
Jesus Christ replied to Jesus Christ's topic in FFToday Board
This is all moot now - Just heard that the Ravens game was moved to 4 o'clock too -

PFT, read in the paper and heard on the Radio here in Boston. -
Up 47 pts . He has Jennings, Forte & Chicago Defense - I have Greg Olsen. I don't like my chances
-
The good news. They still have their 3 Timeouts!
-
kick the FG now. Onside, if you don't make it you have 3 timeouts. Or that's what I'd do if it was madden
