what's your vote this year? The last couple of years I've read here and elsewhere that he's getting old yada yada YET he has still put up consistently good numbers. What is this years view? Which of the teams that a need a QB this year will still be bad enough next year that they'll have the oppurtunity/chance to draft Quinn. Could any team be thinking this way? Like "let's grab a D-lineman now, we're still building and will probably have a shot at Quinn next year", maybe the Jets. Where do you think Quinn after another year under Weis would rank with Leinert, Cultler or Young. Also, what other QB's will be coming out next year that have 1st rounnd potential. I could see mangini doing this. They already have some money wrapped up in Chad, and they have Ramsey to look at as well. Why not see what they got and draft a QB next year whil e grabbing Williams, D'brick or even crazier Vernon Davis. Jets fans??? any thoughts?

I think he had a LOT of help playing at USC due to the players they get BUT, just watch that video. Not since Barry Sanders has anyone made people miss and look more foolish then Bush and that alone makes him something special.

I was gonna disagree with you at first about peterson, by saying that the teams have generally stayed away from RB's as the 1st pick over the last 10 years (the last one being taken in '95 Ki-Jana Carter) but then I thought of what an idiot I'd be. I have to agree. I think Dillons problem last year had a lot more to do with the OL and their injuries as opposed to Dillon himself.

Skinner got outcoached (big surprise) he never made any adjustment to Nova's pressure D - be it full court or when they were in their half court set. Skinner has cost BC way too many games over the years with his lack of in-game decisions.

It bothers me more that they haven't been active in FA a lot more then AV leaving BUT I'm sure there is a plan. Does anyone truly think that a kicker who plays maybe 10 plays should be the 3rd highest player on a team? Maybe, just maybe BB & Pioli are looking toward the future knowing that some of their other KEY players will be due new contracts in the next 2 years, KEY players who are very young and deemed more valueable then AV, or Willie or anyone else who has left? With that being said, the team certainly needs to be more vocal with their players and communicate with players who are due a new contract - If it's true that BB isn't getting in touch with anyone until another team has an offer on the table, this will hurt them more in the long run then then cutting players. no FA will wan to comeback if they are treated the way Givens, Willie and from what we here AV.
