I'm not happy with either. I don't think either is particularly right. The average Trump supporter seems to want to hold Kamala's feet to the fire on this while applauding clemency for the 1/6 Patriots. You can't have it both ways.

It's not neccessarily about Kamala. It's about Trump. It's always been about Trump. That's why Joe Biden was still going to make this a tight race. Because it was about Donald Trump. He's insanely popular. He's insanely unpopular. Now that Kamala's in it; she actually gives a sliver of "Maybe this isn't JUST about Trump" jumpstart to the Democratic Party and the Anti-Trump Contingency of the Voting Public. She'll appeal a little bit more to women just because she's a woman. She'll appeal to people of color simply because she's a person of color. She'll appeal to younger voters because in an election cycle in which the ages of the candidates has been at the forefront...she's the much younger candidate. ETA: And that jibes with basically I've been saying for the past two years. If the Republicans nominated anyone other than Donald Trump....they would have won the elction running away. Hell, I'd probably even say right now that if Trump dropped out and Vance replaced him(with Trumps good graces of course)....he'd win.

Of course she will. She's going to win the election. The only demographic she won't beat Trump with is "white men".

It's still going to come down to PA, WI and MI. If the Democratic Machines in those states get out the votes; she wins. If she takes Kelly from AZ as her VP..she can lose WI. To me, Obama is coming off the bench for this one. He's going to push for that inner city vote hard. It, along with the suburban woman voter who's upset about abortion, will show up too; as now the online Right won't be able to help themselves from making gender based attacks. Trump will get more votes in places he doesn't need votes. He'll win Georgia. He'll make states like Virginia closer.... but Harris will win. Trump all of a sudden not wanting to debate is telling though.....

This isn't really ________ v. Trump. This is Trump Adoration v. Trump Hate against the backdrop of traditional Democratic and Republican values and ideas. Sure, both sides are hyper charged by their Project 2025 and "OmG ThE TrANs!!!!" whining....but this is still about traditional values. I don't think the D's are at the point where they don't think Biden can win. I think they're at the point where they're looking to see if there's an easier path to victory with another candidate. To that, there probably is. I don't think there's a ardent Biden supporter who will NOT vote in this election if Biden is replaced...because it is about Trump. A late move swerve does several things tactically: It will have wasted some of Trump's time and money on Biden; he'll have to redirect his attack platform on the fly a bit; while the Democrats won't. Trump is still Trump while Shapiro or Moore or Kelly are not Biden. It gives them the "too old to hold" card now; unless they nominate Bernie Sanders. It's a bit of an overrrated card...but people still care. It might improve the standing with a particular state or demographic at the voting booths. The Shark move is for Biden to back out himself and allow someone else to take his place.

Its Musks right to do what he wants with what he owns..... but that law doesn't take parents' rights away.

It puts teachers in an awkward position and kind of goes against a Conservative narrative that they would want teachers and school districts to decide what constitutes mental illness in regards to their children.

So some kid wants to go by a different pronoun and the schools aren't required to tell the parents at home? Do schools have to tell parents at home if a kid asks to be called a nickname in school instead of their actual name?
