Yeah, there's been a 10+% increase in just about everything we buy since the begininng of the year. Some increases (coffee) have been because natural reasons. Others, I'm sure have been economic. Restaurants have gotten great at skimping on their product.

I was put off at first because it kind of ignores both Prometheus and Covenant; particuarly David's involvement in the evolution of the Xenomorph. I liked both of those movies and thought David was a great villain. But the show runner made the point that for pretty much the entire run of the franchise; the Alien has been described a a near perfect organism that's been refined over millions of years....and he's right. His take is that he's not contradicting Prometheus or Covenant...but he's also not embracing them. I'm fine with that...not everything needs to be tied up in a bow.

I liked Gina Carino in her role and wished she stayed with the franchise. Not sure this is a great flex on Disney.
