Prediction: Mamdani will govern from the Center Left; he'll compromise or halfway enact some of his campaign promises. Because he's a good speaker, he'll rile up the Right Wing Talking Heads and Trump.....and New York City will now become a complete boogeyman for the Right. Someone spits in the street? Mamdani's fault. Someone steals a piece of fruit from a vendor? Mamdani's fault. etc. etc. I'm half surprised FOX NEWS is staying there.

This. If anything, all this redistricting BS (from both sides) should want people to actually have more members of the House; to at least lower the proportion of House Member to Constituency.

Attorney General race breaks for the D's in VA despite all the horrible things the man said in texts. Man, people must really be upset with the direction of this country when a guy can say what he said and still win. Maybe people didn't take it seriously because they thought it was just "locker room" talk though.

As a centrist, I think if a MAGA person is dismissing these elections as a "math" problem then they're an idiot. People just aren't happy with Donald Trump right now. It will be interesting to see if he tones it down a bit for the mid-terms.

I guess one can read it two ways: 1) People are upset with Trump and voted against him and his Party. 2) People love Trump so much.....that they'll vote for him when he's on the ballot...but if they don't see that name; they don't care. I guess MAGA can rally around the second option. Doesn't make much sense...but if it helps them sleep at night.
