No way. Plax is having a pro bowl year. I'm not convinced Graham is going to get the majority of carries and Jones is coming off injury and has Martz as his OC.
-
Roy brings the wood, but like many have said, he seems to frequently be out of position or consistently keep the play in front of him.

http://www.ajc.com/sports/content/sports/f...lcons_0921.html So, if they can just get confident Joey Harrington back he can lob the ball to confident Roddy White all day long.

I hadn't thought about him with the Titans. That could be a very interesting place for him to land.

O.J. Simpson questioned about break-in at Las Vegas casino

Can't wait for his book, 'If I taped it." -
I'm starting him this week over Hasslebeck. I like the fact that he will have to carry the team on his back to compete with Indy this week.
-
I'm sure that had more to do with Morris scoring a TD this past week. I have SA and don't plan to pick up Morris, although this news probably does mean his receiving stats, such that they are, will go down for this week.

Not to be all thin-skinned, but is this comment really necessary? You've posted some good info on this board and I've enjoyed reading many of your posts, but comments like this don't belong on this board. Take it to the Geek Club free for all if you just have to spout this kind of wit.

He outsmarted himself here, too. http://www.flickr.com/photos/17122349@N00/51875092/

Glad to get that one off the books.

The first NFL coach fired this year will be
The_Mad_Cats replied to TheGambinoCrimeFamily's topic in FFToday Board
Fox won't be fired this year unless he doesn't address something that is obviously broken to even the casual observer and it leads to the team having a 5-11 record. Jerry Richardson is not an impatient owner and he's shown in the past to be loyal. The offensive coordinator was determined to be the weak link on this team and they brought in Davidson. They're not going to can the head coach while a new offense is still being implemented. -
Marcus Pollard had a couple of good years back in the day, but I guess that was before Wayne was productive.
-
He can rack up points in any given game, and I personally think he's got skills, but the problem is consistency. I think the Colts have so many weapons, they just don't need him to produce as a receiver on an every game basis. He can blow up, but you never know when it's going to happen. I'd rather have a TE from a team that /needs/ to throw to him.

My $$$ says Tiki comes out of retirement
The_Mad_Cats replied to Headslap75's topic in FFToday Board
Yeah, I heard him on Mike and Mike this morning. He came off very self-righteous. I don't mind him expressing negative views about Eli, his coach, etc, but he doesn't follow up with the positive impact that these guys had on his career. He could have bashed Coughlin and said he was outcoached, but then followed it up with something about him making him a better football player, teaching him how to hold onto the ball, gameplanning with him as the focus and putting him in a position to succeed. -
I'm sweating this game a little bit. I've currently got Rudi plugged in as my RB2, but am considering Lamont Jordan. Here's to hoping Carson can find success in the passing game early to open up them running lanes.

Excellent post, Xeris.

Lets talk about how bad nfl.com dropped the ball
The_Mad_Cats replied to mr.shitty's topic in FFToday Board
I used cbssportsline.com last night. Not as good as NFL.com was last year, but it was okay. -
This is the kind of games guys have when they get to play in front of their home town. There's no way Marvin puts up with this many looks going away from his side of the field all season long. Although, as a Wayne owner who is currently hammering my opponent, it's pretty sweet.
-
Not to make your decision any harder, but the Panther defensive back field is a mess. Rams could score at will if Holt is healthy and they come out of the gate fast.
-
He looked pretty good shredding my Panthers in the second preseason game. Didn't look hurried in the pocket. Progressed through his reads. IMO, going to be a stud again this season as long as he stays healthy.
-
He only runs hard inside the 10. You can't argue with his production through his career, but as others have said, the only time I enjoy watching him run is when he's on my team and crossing the stripe for his second TD of the day.
-
Tomlinson showed me nothing this preseason. I have to get a good look at him in week 1 before I can plug him into the lineup.

Young vs Hasselbeck & M Jones Drew vs A Green
The_Mad_Cats replied to kore60's topic in A Little Help!
I'm going with Hasselbeck this week over Young. I see the Jags keeping VY in check like they did last year. Plus, with Leftwich out as QB, I see the coach trying to rally the D to cover for the new QB. -
He'll be the starter. I don't think I've heard officially either, but I live in Panther country and it's a forgone conclusion that he'll see the majority of snaps.
