LIBERATION DAY: USA and China agree to a 90 day pause on most new tariffs

What is happening here is the billionaire ruling class is leveling the largest tax increase on the working class in history. They are doing this so they can cut their income tax. Smart people see whats going on. Working class trump voters don't see it.

    Maga Media Takeover, Oligarchy now

Today Zuckerberg announced that Meta will stop fact checking content and rely on its community to fact check itself. States that it has not allowed enough hatred regarding immigrants to flourish on its platform. This all under the guise of free speech. This follows what Musk has done on X. So follow along, Musk has turned X into a Maga echo chamber. Zuckerberg doing the same with Facebook and Instagram. Both have given hundreds of millions of dollars to Trump. Next up is Trump friend Kevin O'Leary saying he will buy TikTok to keep it from getting banned and undoubtedly turn TikTok into another Maga echo chamber. They already control the media between Fox News and Sinclair. They will soon control the large majority of social media. Fox News hosts joining the Trump admin, money flowing back and forth. Are you paying attention? This is what an oligarchy looks like. We used to use the term MSM to refer to ABC, CBS. NBC, CNN, etc. MSM is now Foxnews, X and Meta. It is where most people get their news. And it's all the same story according to one man, Trump, who controls everything. Do you get it?

Pete Hegseth texted war plans to a reporter by accident

Among Republicans, 60 percent said they believed the Trump administration's military leak was a "very" or "somewhat serious" problem. So did 89 percent of Democrats and 72 percent of independents. The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 2 percentage points. https://www.newsweek.com/signal-chat-leak-more-serious-clinton-emails-americans-poll-2051262

Trump and Russia- the optimism is fading

NATO is not the bad guy in this situation. NATO is the good guy. NATO did not threaten anyone. NATO keeps the peace. NATO has never invaded another country. Never started a war. Russia has on multiple occasions. Russia is the aggressor. This is simple history. Your blame is wildly misplaced and now I'm convinced you are just pulling my leg. Disengage.

Trump and Russia- the optimism is fading

If Russia said that they would defend Mexico if invaded then you would support America invading Mexico? This just sounds so strange to me. I feel like you're pulling my leg here. Do all Americans think like this?

Trump and Russia- the optimism is fading

That's fine but you're blaming the invasion by Putin on your own president. Everyone knows that it was Putin that invaded Ukraine.

Trump and Russia- the optimism is fading

You're an American right? You blame your own president for the fact that a war criminal invaded another country? Does said war criminal get any blame or is it 100% on America?
  11. Is there an audience that watches him golf? Is it broadcast on the news like in North Korea? I morale so low in America that seeing the president drive around a race track makes people feel better? Isn't morale low because Government workers are losing their jobs? Even if this were true shouldn't the money come out of his own pockets? Is the message of austerity for civilians lost in the display of the president spending millions to watch a football game? Do you know who Marie Antoinette is?

The Golden Age Of Corruption has begun

He's going to make billions off of more contracts and also using the data he has access to not to further his business interests. It's the long game. He's not doing this out of the kindness of his heart or to help save a country which he has third allegiance to. I can assure you that.

Trump and Russia- the optimism is fading

    So it's Biden's fault?
  14. Does is make sense that he's terminating civil servants to save a few million yet he's spending this money on super bowl, Daytona and golf? Isn't that the antithesis of waste fraud and abuse?

Unfortunately a segment of the US population believes that Donald Trump should be allowed to do whatever he wants including illegal and corrupt activities. I don't understand it either.

So this is not corruption? Or it is corruption but that's OK because everyone else is corrupt too?

The Golden Age Of Corruption has begun

Trump is only saying this because AGs sued to stop doge under the ruling that Musk has too much power and needs congressional approval. By stating that Musk has no authority that removes his need for congressional approval. But we all know what is going on.

The Golden Age Of Corruption has begun

It is true. The only "transparency" is what Musk posts on X and most of that has been proven to be false. Where is the auditor? Where is the independent oversight? Doge doesn't want that. Why do you think that is? I do agree with you on the upper hand and the narrative. Musk posting lies about condoms to gaza or transgender education wins public support.

    DOGE 👍

I believe it was $17MM to go to the Super bowl and $5MM to go to Daytona. But those are not woke causes so it's OK.

The Golden Age Of Corruption has begun

They are in calls for transparency and oversight. Trump and Musk don't want any of that. Curious as to why someone with virtuous intent would oppose oversight and transparency don't you think?

I have seen democrats support the wasteful spending. That is not the issue. The issue is the fraud and abuse taking place under the guise of uncovering wasteful spending. You might be an "ends justify the means" kind of person. In my experience these kind of people lack moral character and judgement.

    DOGE 👍

DOGE Claimed It Saved $8 Billion in One Contract. It Was Actually $8 Million. You shouldn't believe anything they say.

The Golden Age Of Corruption has begun

President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed a sweeping executive order bringing independent agencies under the control of the White House — an action that would greatly expand his power but is likely to attract significant legal challenges. It represents Trump’s latest attempt to consolidate power beyond boundaries other presidents have observed and to test the so-called unitary executive theory, which states that the president has the sole authority over the executive branch. And it reflects the influence of Russ Vought, Trump’s budget chief, one of several conservatives in his orbit who have called for axing independent arms of the executive branch. The theory was long considered fringe, and many mainstream legal scholars still believe it is illegal, given that Congress set the agencies up specifically to act independently, or semi-independently, from the president. These include the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Trade Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission, all of which enact regulations and can impose hefty fines on businesses that violate the rules. Other presidents have not only declined to challenge the independence of these agencies in court, but have in many cases tried to avoid even the appearance of interference in their actions. Many leaders appointed to the agencies serve terms that last longer than a single presidency, in an effort to help shield them from political pressure. The Golden Age Of Corruption has begun

Musk, Doge and SpaceX now working directly with the FAA and the DoD behind closed doors, agencies of which they have billions of dollars in contracts and are responsible for regulating them. Trump was asked about this conflict of interest and remarked he was just hearing about this now,
