Everson Walls on cold pizza, his top 5 NFL DBs
jrmbadger replied to DontPushMe's topic in FFToday Board
I think you could make a case for Al Harris as well. The dude flat out shuts down WRs -
packersnews.com is reporting that Hodge is signed: packersnews.com

Just checked the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal and they are reporting this as well! GO PACK!
-
Rotoworld is reporting AJ as signed.... I haven't seen it confirmed on any newsite yet though "Packers signed LB A.J. Hawk, the fifth pick of the draft, to a six-year, $37.5 million contract. All of the Packers are now signed. Hawk should start at weak-side linebaker from the first day of camp and should rack up tackles in IDP leagues immediatley. The Green Bay defense has holes, but their linebacker group is much improved. Jul. 28 - 5:46 pm et " rotoworld

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea, lets piss off a large carnivorous feline.
-
Keep in mind that I did read somewhere that with his who can cover 85 in '05, he actually did mark yes to a few cornerbacks.... That shows to me that it's good natured fun.

That would be a "chop-block" right? Which is a penalty and perhaps what Swamp was thinking of.

I know Denver is criticized a lot for using it heavily. It seems that the Packs new O'line coach utilizes that system. It's kinda interesting that they deem it too dangerous to use on their own players in camp, yet they have no problem unleashing it on others....

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, The pack plans to use the cut block...... Story I'm not sure how I feel about this, on one hand I'm a fan and anything that gives GB the edge is good, but I don't really like the cut block, it's quite possibly a cheap move. My favorite quote: "The Packers have worked on the technique during various drills this off-season. But because the risk of injury is so great, they won't cut their own players during training camp." What do other Packer fans feel about this, and what do others feel about cut blocking in general?

Anyone remember those Zest bodywash commercials he was in? Those were hillarious! "Hey Ironhead, what's with the thingy?"

The Chicago Bears are going to the Super Bowl
jrmbadger replied to Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka's topic in FFToday Board
I think they are (and should be) the early favorites to win the division. But I don't have any faith in their offense. I'm not saying a SB can't be won on Defense (Baltimore D), but it's certainly more advantageous to have both. Why don't I have any faith in their offense? Rex Grossman. I know, I know, he's better than Kyle Orton..... Grossman could be the next coming of Favre, or the next coming of McNown, or somewhere in-between. We just don't know. His leadership skills are good, but how well will other's follow him if he struggles? Will we hear the cat-calls for Griese? QB controversies generally aren't all that good for a team. I just don't see them beating Dallas or Carolina. But I could be wrong.... (that's why they play 'em). just my two cents.... -J -
Is Randy Moss Done Being an Elite WR?
jrmbadger replied to RamslovaMartzhata's topic in FFToday Board
Yeah, I agree. I think it's a combination of both those guys - just an on-field connection they had. One thought is that he's such a big name, that he'll be gone in the first 2 rounds. He maybe slipped out of the first a bit, but early second is where he'll be taken. This means he's far from UNDER valued, and more than likely OVER valued. -
Interesting. Thanks for the reply. Was just curious about this situation.

I did, It didn't turn up anything... sorry though.

Saints RB Bush has slight groin strain
jrmbadger replied to Reverend Cleophus James's topic in FFToday Board
WTF is a "slight" groin strain???? Who the hell cares. Sounds to me that he's got a sore groin.... Nothing to see, move along....
