    Can Someone Please Explain?

My point with the bonus points is that with Warner and LT they cancelled each other out. They both earned 20 bonus points all season. I am just saying I don't feel like the bonus points is the reason for the large discrepancy. I guess comparing these players in this way is the wrong way to do so. Thanks for your replies. Good insight Dr. Octopus and mggoilers.

    Can Someone Please Explain?

Actually last year Kurt Warner only threw for 300 yards 4 times which gave him 20 bonus points all year while LT ran for 150 yards 2 times which gave him 20 bonus points all year as well.

    Can Someone Please Explain?

I apologize for the typo, it is acutally 5 pts bonus/300 yards passing. Even with the bonus, Brady was the only QB to average 300 yards per game. Brady did receive the bonus most weeks so I can see why that would add to his increased fantasy points but most other QB's did not receive the bonus but every few weeks and at only 5 points I do not see that making a huge difference, especially since the RB's can gain bonus points as well.

    Addai,Gore,Wayne + ?

got to go with AJ over Palmer. Your RB core and WR core will be outstanding. As previously said, you can then draft a QB like Palmer with your first pick and be pretty much set. AJ will be gone immediately.

    Clinton Portis or Tony Romo

I would keep Romo hands down, especially since you only give up a 5th rounder. I think Portis will have a pretty good year but if you keep him you lose a 3rd round pick. Romo will put up better numbers and you lose a 5th rounder instead of a 3rd. This is an easy choice for me. Good luck.

What Rbs to take @ the turn

Barber has to be your first choice if possible. Great offense and he is tabbed for his biggest workload yet. After that I would say either Gore or Portis. I believe they are both going to have a pretty good year. LJ would be next but he is not far behind Gore/Portis. I do like LJ this year but O line scares me, however I would not be surprised if he put up better numbers than Gore or Portis. Lynch would be my last choice. Sophmore slump scares me and he just hasn't proven enough to me yet. Let someone else take the risk this year and depending what he does this year consider him for next year.

shouldn't even be in question..... PORTIS

    Who to keep?

I was going to say Parker and Burress until I read this post. Great point. Yes, it is hard to keep a TE but with this brutal team you really are in a tough spot. I would keep Parker and Witten and really stack up on RBs and WRs early in your draft.

    Commissioner Question

in my league we always do a random draft order. just because someone won the league last year doesn't mean they will dominate again. a lot goes into FF, luck is one of them. especially if this is the 2nd year for your league, i would do random because last year being the first year is a rookie year for everyone. draft order doesn't necessarily determine who the champion is going to be. you can put a great team together no matter where you draft. if the champion from last year is so much better than everyone else he is going to win the league no matter where he drafts. of course it is to someones advantage to have LT on their team but if they can't put together a complete draft it does them no good. i guess it is more of a preference of all the owners in the league. i just prefer to have a completely random order each year. either way works, go with what the majority wants.

    Derek Anderson

im not high on anderson this year. i honestly think he could potentially be a one year wonder. not saying he will put up horrible numbers but i do not believe he will put up the numbers this year that everyone expects. i think these QB's will all have more TDs than him this year. Also listed these QB's TD #'s from last season. Anderson threw 29 last season..... Brady (50 last year) Manning (31) Romo (36) Brees (28) Palmer (26) Big Ben (32) Hasselbeck (28) Anderson threw more than Brees but I really look for Brees to have a big year this year. He also threw more than Palmer and Hasselbeck but I expect their numbers to stay about the same as they are pretty consistent QB's. I am not saying Anderson cannot become consistent but one year isn't enough for me. He could very easily prove me wrong but I am just not sold on him until he shines for another year. My prediction is 23 TD's.

Will Larry Johnson be a top 10 RB this season?

I totally agree here. I would LOVE to get LJ as my #2 RB in my 10 team league. Yes, of course he has a little higher risk than some other RBs but I believe the potential reward is worth the risk, esp. as your #2 RB.

    Peyton Manning & the Colts

this is more like it Chi - W (chicago still sucks) @ Min - W (improving but experienced colts get win) Jax - W (colts win important home game on new field) Bye @Hou - W (improving but not enough) Balt - W (ravens? who is their QB?) @GB - W (if Favre plays they MIGHT have a chance) @TEN - L (not sure why i picked this, maybe looking ahead to NE?) NE - L (they cheat so of course they win) @PIT - W (i dont like pitt that well this year) HOU - W (see above) @SD - L (tough road game) @CLE - W (browns overhyped) CIN - W (still suck) DET - W (still suck) @JAX - L (tough tough road game) TEN - W (end season with W) i see them going 12-4 and this schedule is tough but not brutal.

    Quick Help....LJ Trade..

at first i thought to myself do not do the trade. but after i realize what draft picks you get and what keepers you will keep next year you have to do this trade. you may be slightly down this year, and if you are at all it will not be much. i dont think parker will be quite as good as LJ. i do like caddy to have a bounce back year for sure but with the draft picks you get next year you would be set. i would pull the trigger. you are in this keeper league for a reason, to improve your team year after year. you make this trade now, you have a great 1-2 punch at RB this year and even greater depth next year. if you don't take the trophy home this year you will the following year. pull the trigger before its too late. good luck this year.

    Sit em or start em

CJ, Cotchery and Holmes. Denver D is too good. (if you do start Evans then play Cotchery over Holmes) Williams, Fitzy and Branch
  17. JREarly

    Randy Moss

You got it exactly right. 1000 yds and 8-9 TDs

    Reggie Bush's Ceiling?

I hope he finishes Top 5. I got Bush AND SJax.

    I need a better #2 RB

I agree also that it does depend upon who the rest of your team is. I like Addai and I like Barber but I do agree that you need a better #2 RB. I would package Green and a decent WR to get E. James or Jordan and a WR to get James. You can only afford to give up 1 RB since you only have 4 on your roster. I personally would go after James first, but you need to see what kind of roster the guy has who has James, see what he might need. Other guys you could go after would be McAllister or Benson. If you can start 3 RBs you just need to get a talent equal to Marion Barber so you can start Addai Barber and whoever you Acquire. However, if you can only start 2 RBs I would try to get someone better than Barber so you can start Addai and whoever you acquire. If you can only start two I wouldn't be scared to package Barber and a decent WR to go after someone like Parker or Bush. That way you could start Addai and Parker/Bush (whoever you get) and still have Green and Jordan as your backups. However I would look to trade Green or Jordan with a WR to ensure you keep Barber as a very good #3. Hope that helps. Good luck.

Anyone go RB with first 4 picks?

I personally like your team. I think you still got good WR's using your draft strategy. I don't think you need great WR's cause of your depth at RB so I think it worked out nicely for you. I really like your RB core, you took the right guys with your picks. Burress Moss and Berrian are all going to put up decent numbers this year and you have Curtis who is a very nice sleeper in Philly. I wouldn't be worried at all. It is always important to have a great RB group with an RB or two who can come off your bench and produce if there are injuries to your team or just a bust. You did nicely and should have a successful year. Good luck.
  21. Vernon Davis . . . . he is a BEAST

    Tricky Keeper Situation.....only keep 2

Keep Gates and take Thomas Jones, I think he is going to have a very nice year. He could put up numbers similar to Shaun and then you have Gates as well.

Which "CORE" team is better stacked?

Team 4 is best. Best RB combo best WR combo and best QB. That was easy.
