  1. 12 team league, I picked 5th. Pretty much standard scoring but you get 1 point for every 3 receptions. 6 points for passing touchdowns. You must have 2 QB's and 2 TE's on roster. First I will list the guys in order that I drafted them and my predicted lineup for week 1. I question my depth, especially at RB. I didn't really plan on drafting Kaepernick but I felt like he was good value in the 7th. Yes, I know Gordon is going to be suspended possibly for the year. Took a flyer on him. Any and all comments are welcome. Thanks and leave me a link to yours. Drafted: Eddie Lacy Montee Ball Antonio Brown Toby Gerhart Keenan Allen Vernon Davis Colin Kaepernick Kendall Wright Khiry Robinson Jarrett Boykin Kenny Stills Cam Newton Josh Gordon Lance Dunbar New England D Charles Clay Dan Bailey Week 1 Lineup: QB - Kaepernick RB - Lacy RB - Ball WR - Brown WR - Allen TE - Davis FLEX - Gerhart K - Bailey D - New England
  2. Thanks for your input. I only snagged Dunbar because Murray gets hurt so much.
  3. Isn't Stills going to start with Moore gone? I just think he has a lot of opportunity in that offense, even as the 4th option and my WR5. Stills did average 20ypc last season, yes only 32 catches. Moore and Sproles gone leaves 20% of targets up for grabs. I am going to drop Dunbar. Any chance I should pick up Hillman instead of Stewart just in case Ball struggles after surgery?
  4. Here are some players on the waivers, please give me your input as to who you think I should drop to pick up and why. Again, the rules of my league are listed above and I must have 2 TE's on my roster at all times. RB's: Ronnie Hillman Donald Brown Bobby Rainey Bilal Powell Jacquizz Rodgers Andre Brown Marcel Reece Mike Tolbert Jonathan Stewart WR's: Brian Hartline James Jones Jerricho Cotchery Aaron Dobson Marqise Lee
  5. Thanks for the input guys! Two backups I was targeting, Hyde and K. Davis, were gone in the 10th and 11th so I missed out. I hope P. Thomas or Colston goes down for the Saints. I tried to target backup players on high scoring offenses because they can pan out fast if an injury occurs. I have to have two TE so I can't drop Clay. I will check the waivers and post again for advice. Thanks!

Tough keeper choice- help me I'll help you

Gio is a steal at that price. I would probably keep McCoy as well since you are getting Gio for cheap. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=435024
  7. 10 team league. Standard scoring. No bonus points for yardage. 4 points per passing TD. Please let me know if I should make this trade or sit tight with my current roster. All comments/suggestions welcomed. Current roster: Starters QB - Kaep WR - Green WR - Cobb WR - A. Brown RB - Rice RB - Gore TE - Sudfeld K - Janikowski DEF - Bengals Bench Vick Vereen Bernard L. Moore Givens Thompkins Guy wants to trade me Doug Martin, Wes Welker, Emmanuel Sanders and Jonathan Dwyer for Ray Rice, Randall Cobb and Mike Vick. I like this trade because it gives me Martin, who I am a little higher on than Rice. I feel like I am taking a hit on my WR's but I really believe that Lance Moore or Givens could be a good WR3 for me, or of course Welker. Not sure about having Brown and Sanders both and I believe that Vick will have a pretty good year. This trade would leave me without a backup QB and force me to pick up someone like Cutler/Bradford/Schaub/Palmer. This guy has been trying to trade with me the past few days and this is the trade I like the best. Trade would give him Stafford, Marshall, VJ, Cobb, Rice, Ridley, Cook as starters. Thoughts?!

10 team league. Yahoo scoring. 6 points for rushing/recieving TD. 4 points for passing TD. 1 point for 10 yards rushing/recieving. 1 point for 25 yards passing. -1 for interceptions. No bonus points for yardage. No PPR points. My current roster: Starters QB - Jay Cutler WR - Greg Jennings WR - Marques Colston WR - Eric Decker RB - Darren McFadden RB - Chris Johnson TE - Antonio Gates K - Mason Crosby DEF - Dallas Bench RB - Darren Sproles RB - Peyton Hillis RB - Rashad Jennings WR - Anquan Boldin WR - Randy Moss QB - Alex Smith Guy is offering me Matt Ryan and DeAngelo Williams for Chris Johnson. He has Drew Brees is the reason he is willing to do this. I drafted Chris Johnson in the 2nd round and he drafted Matt Ryan in the 6th. Part of my problem with this trade is he is giving me his bench QB for my #2 RB. I think Ryan is going to have a huge year but passing TD's are only worth 4 points. Johnson looked bad week one but not sure if that is a trend that will continue. I would move Sproles up to a starter but I am unsure if Ryan will give me a ton of points more than Cutler to justify giving up Johnson. Williams will share carries with Stewart (if healthy) and of course Newton. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

  12. I need depth at QB and these are the only guys left who I would consider taking. Very standard league. QB's get 1 point for 25 yards passing, 4 points for a passing TD, -1 point for interceptions, and -2 points for fumbles lost. Of course, they would get 1 point for 10 yards rushing and 6 points for a rushing TD. I am leaning towards Wilson because I feel that he has the most upside if he wins the starting gig. He is on a team with a good defense and a good running game. I thought Freeman could have a good year with the additions of WR, TE, and OL help but he has looked shaky this pre-season and their offensive lineman went down last night I believe. Smith is on a good team with good targets in the passing game. Dalton and Fitzpatrick are at the bottom of my list. Thanks for voting guys!
  13. Thanks for the responses and votes! I agree that Smith could put up decent numbers as a high QB2 or low QB1 this year, then again, I am a 9ers fan I have decided to pick up Wilson and see how the first few games plays out. If he gets the starting gig and puts up decent numbers I will keep him but if not I can always come back to Smith, Fitzpatrick, or Dalton. More votes and explanations welcome, of course!

I can't believe I am asking this question

In a PPR I take the best RB you can for this point system. I would pick Rice because he is a safe pick as well (Foster will share some with Tate and his injury history comes into play). You would have way too long of a wait for a RB1 at pick 24, IMO. The top QB's will be gone so I'd go WR and WR or WR and TE in rounds 2 and 3, unless a good RB falls to you (Sproles?). You can grab a good value QB later in rounds 4 or 5 (Eli, Ryan, etc.). Please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=404909
  15. Yes, you have a nice team already. Go with Jennings as this MJD situation is far from over. Even when he comes back I look for an injury-filled season. Please see mine. Thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=404909

    Rank these WR's in PPR

  17. JREarly

I have #1 pick in PPR (Pass TD = 6pts)

I go Ray Rice, because he is the safest pick. He will grab you nice PPR points and I'd rather have him with a 2nd tier QB than Rodgers with a questionable RB as your RB1. Please see mine. Thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=404909
  18. JREarly

    Just Traded for MJD. Dunce?

I also think you lost because of the risk involved. If MJD has a good year, then I think it was pretty even. You had Jennings so I would have kept Welker and hoped to God MJD never signs or gets injured, then you would have had a starting RB in Jennings and still had Welker. You should have requested Nate Washington or Antonio Brown as well as MJD. Although, I wouldn't have made this move either way. Please see mine. Thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=404909

    13th Pick in a 16 Team League

After the top tier TE's there is a pretty big dip in the second tier. I would consider Graham/Jones/Newton but I like to get an RB in the first, especially if its a non-PPR. I go with Murray or Charles, MJD scares me. Or you could go with one of the first 3 guys I mentioned if you are satisfied with taking whatever RB falls to you in the 2nd. See mine. Please. Thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=404909

So you are saying drop Cobb and pick up Amendola and have both STL WR's? Just clarifying. Thanks!

    I will answer all questions

I currently have Cobb and Quick on my roster. This is a 12 team league. Should I keep these two on my roster or should I look at Burleson and/or Amendola who are currently free agents? I am trying to solidify my WR core behind my top 3. Cobb - I like his potential upside in GB's strong offense. However, Jennings/Nelson/Finley all come before him. He is also fighting for time with Jones and Driver. Keep him or drop him? Quick - I like his potential upside as well. With his size, the fact that the Rams do not have a solid #1 WR, and Bradford maybe coming around more this year he could be a sleeper. He is a raw rookie. Burleson - He will be in the slot in a great offense that throws short balls more than enough for him to get production. However, he is getting older at age 31 and will surely lose targets to Young this year. Amendola - He seems to be on the same page with Bradford and could be his go to WR for short balls. Could get a nice amount of receptions but not sure about yardage and TD's. HERE ARE THE LEAGUE SETTINGS FOR SCORING FOR WR'S 1 point for 10 yards receiving 6 points for all TD's 3 points for every 5 receptions 2 points for 50+ yard TD 3 points for 100+ yards receiving HERE IS MY CURRENT ROSTER Projected Starters: QB - Matt Ryan WR - Wes Welker WR - Jordy Nelson RB - Matt Forte RB - Darren Sproles FLEX - Eric Decker TE - Jacob Tamme K - Neil Rackers DEF - Patriots Projected Bench: QB - Andrew Luck WR - Nate Washington, Randall Cobb, Brian Quick RB - Ben Tate, Donald Brown, Isaac Redman, JaQuizz Rodgers TE - Joel Dreessen ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

  24. First draft of the season yesterday afternoon. This is a 12 team league and here are the league settings: 1 point for 10 yards rushing/receiving 1 point for 25 yards passing 6 points for all TD's 3 points for every 5 receptions 2 points for 50+ yard TD 3 points for 100+ yards rushing/receiving 3 points for 300+ yards passing I picked 8th out of 12 and there were 18 rounds. Projected Starters: QB - Matt Ryan (5th round) WR - Wes Welker (2nd round) WR - Jordy Nelson (3rd round) RB - Matt Forte (1st round) RB - Darren Sproles (4th round) FLEX - Eric Decker (6th round) TE - Jacob Tamme K - Neil Rackers DEF - Patriots Projected Bench: QB - Andrew Luck WR - Nate Washington, Randall Cobb, Brian Quick RB - Ben Tate, Donald Brown, Isaac Redman, JaQuizz Rodgers TE - Joel Dreessen I love my starting WR's, as these were guys that I had really high on my list (especially with some points for receptions). This is part of the reason I put more emphasis on drafting bench RB's (I love Brown this year and possibly Tate and Rodgers if injuries occur to Foster/Turner). Thrilled to get Ryan in the 5th and Decker in the 6th. I took both Denver TE's just because I know they will both get their chance. I picked a defense and kicker in the last 2 rounds. Please let me know what you think, I would greatly appreciate it!
