    ++ Update: Ray Rice Released

    Right now Ray Ray is my RB4 with Gerhart as my RB3 and TRich at RB5. This is bad news indeed as you need at least 4 serviceable backs to stay competitive. I may have to look at the New Orleans situation for depth. Hate that headache though.

    ++ Update: Ray Rice Released

    There goes Yahoo Sports stirring the pot again. They are the masters at investigative reporting to create controversy and trouble. If a Yahoo reporter asks for an interview just say no.
  4. Standard 10 team re-draft. Was able to grab Riley Cooper in the 12th round. Also have Dez, Cobb, Floyd and Jordan Cameron (combined WR/TE league).
  5. 10 team standard, no PPR. Decker went undrafted. My WR/TE 4 and 5 are Jordan Cameron and Riley Cooper. Are either of them droppable to add Decker? He is a WR1 for his team but my thinking is that JC and Coop will post higher totals. JC is his teams number one option and Coop is WR2 in a Chip Kelly offense behind a guy who is coming off of ACL surgery. Thoughts? Decker is rated anywhere from 35-50 depending on where you look for a reason...Right?
  6. You have a TE in Davis that is a red zone favorite for his quarterback, but has had injury issues and plays on a team that is a run heavy offense. Cameron is the Brown number one passing target but with a horrible QB situation and promises to see double coverage most of the time. That said...I drafted Cameron in a standard 10 team WR/TE combo position league in the 10th round. Davis went undrafted. Even though I don't have to have a TE, is Cameron better than Davis on pure merit?

    Eric Decker went undrafted in my league

    Before your last sentence I was going to say Peyton Manning vs. Geno Smith but you took care of that for me. Now is Smith > Tebow? If so, Decker could have a nice year. Worth a spot especially as a WR4/5 from what you guys are saying.
  8. I play in a 10 team standard, No PPR, WR/TE combo, 2 player keeper league... Top 5 available post-draft in my league according to FF Today ranks: RB 1. Pierre Thomas 2. DeAngelo Williams 3. Danny Woodhead 4. Jeremy Hill 5. Lance Dunbar Others: Chris Ivory, Shonn Greene, Mark Ingram, Jonathan Stewart, Ronnie Hillman, Ahmad Bradshaw. WR 1. Eric Decker 2. Tavon Austin 3. DeAndre Tompkins 4. Brian Hartline 5. Kenny Stills Others: Cecil Shorts, Rueben Randle, Harry Douglas, James Jones, Greg Jennings, Doug Baldwin, Steve Smith, Robert Woods, Kenny Britt, Mike Evans and Hakeem Nicks. Happy with my RB's with McCoy, Gerhart, Gore, Rice and TRich. But my bottom 2 WR/TE I am a little shaky with. Have Dez, Cobb and Floyd 1-3 but my 4-5 are Jordan Cameron (TE) and Riley Cooper. Got Cameron in the 9th, TRich in the 10th and Cooper in the 12th. Who is worth a pick-up?
  9. I felt I got better value with what I grabbed. All 5 of my RB's are top 25 and my top 3 WR's are top 15. I was just wondering who had what left on their board. Mind not blown.
  10. Joined in November 1999, I think I am member number 506 but who's counting. I think I joined the first few months of the site being live. Thanks for all of the advice and I hope I have helped a few of you too. I have won 4 championships and a couple of runner-up's, made some nice coin and taken 3 trips to Las Vegas for the NCAA Tournament thanks to FF. Let's make 2014 top notch.

    Ahmad Bradshaw

    Got TRich as my RB5. Worth a stash in my opinion.
  12. I know I've only got 1,500 posts but they are quality posts!
  13. A Texans win and Redskins loss gives the #1 pick to St. Louis to complete one of the greatest fleeces in NFL Draft history: WAS Receives 2012 1st round, #2 Overall, RGIII for STL Receives 2012 1st round, #6 Overall (traded to DAL), selected Michael Brockers, LSU, with Dallas pick at 14. 2012 2nd round, Janoris Jenkins, North Alabama 2013 1st round, #22 Overall (traded to ATL), selected Alec Ogletree, Georgia, with Atlanta pick at 30. 2014 1st round, either #1 or #2 Overall Other trades made using Washington picks also netted the Rams RB Isaiah Pead, Cincinnati, in 2012 (2nd) and WR Stedman Bailey, West Virginia, in 2013 (3rd). Amazing Rams haul. The Rams could deal it again because they will not be drafting a QB. They need a backup but that could be had on day 3. Immediate needs for STL include a RB, OL and DB.
  14. If you think Zac Stacy is a legit NFL RB1 I would like to hear your reasoning. Their backups are dreadful. Isaiah Pead, Benny Cunningham and Daryl Richardson. Really? RB is an absolute need. There are no RB's that are 1st round worthy but grabbing Ka'Deem Carey in round 2 would be solid.
  15. I love fantasy. The God's are so cruel. My division was horrible and I made the playoffs, finishing 3rd in the 5 team division at 5-8. The other division had teams at .500 or higher miss the playoffs. I won this week and am now in the semifinals. If I lose twice over the next two weeks I still win $100. Two wins and an improbable $800 is mine. I have suffered through Ray Rice, Matt Ryan, Marques Colston, Hakeem Nicks and the Titans defense all year. Had a great week and I'm still alive!
  16. I pride myself on "skill" in FF. This is my first season under .500 in five years. I have won 2 of the last 4 titles. I drafted what I thought was a really good team only to be crushed with underwhelming performances all year from my so called studs. It is a 10 team league with the top 3 in each division making the playoffs. The division winner earns a bye and is guaranteed to win money. 2 plays 3 with the winner playing 1. Everyone makes the playoffs in some way. The bottom four play for the right to earn the #1 pick next year. So your either playing for draft position or cash. It keeps it competitive and people don't disappear if they are having a bad year. I scored 125 points last week, my most by far this year. Colston finally had a quality game and I had McCoy, Decker, Vereen and Marshall. I hope I can keep it going but this league is anything but bush. It was well thought out and fair to all.

    Weather: Snow or Mud?

    Yesterday was awesome but I like watching games in big time mud better. Thoughts.
  18. Turkey takes up too much room on the plate. Load up on carbs and pumpkin pie is my gospel.
  19. Standard scoring. no ppr. Leaning Vereen. Rice has screwed me all year. Played him every week but benched him for the Bears game. Typical. 4-8 record this year says it all about Raymond Rice.

    which Rice shows up vs Pitt?

    I have run him every week this year but one...The Bears game. Figures. I am 4-8 in large part because of him. I am teetering between him and Vereen this week. I have little confidence but, amazingly, a win this week gets me in the playoffs so its a big decision. I am leaning Vereen.
  21. I have. I'm 4-8. Rice...Start him all season and had a stretch with like 5 games under 5 points. I bench him and he gets 20+ against the Bears. Started his last week to cover a bye. Less than 5 points again. A big fock off there. Colston, Matt Ryan, Eric Decker are a couple more that I have rode to "glory" all season long.

    How do you evaluate kickers?

    I need a bye week filler for Hauschka and will decide between Vinatieri, Bailey and Gould. Other than grabbing the kicker who is playing against either the strongest defense (or weakest) depending on your view, how do you decide on which kicker to grab? I am not in a league that affords week to week match-up add/drops. We are only allowed 10 per year.
